Gold medallions could become like the new blood donation. Have an empty one, someone spends a half hour sick, and its used to heal another person. On a darker side, this could lead to Matrix-esque sweatshops were people spend their days incapacitated (e.x. blind, sick, tired) to fill the metalminds. There would definitely need to be some government regulation in that area. Or use the ettmetal machines as mentioned above. Our Storm Trekkers would have no communication issues with people in other worlds thanks to the connection medallions. I can see massive pneumatic tube networks used to deliver messages by coinshots and lurchers. Like the ones in bank drive throughs but cooler and allomancy-er.

Im just in high school, and my school doesnt have any sort of computer science class, and most of my quads are ready to fly. Ive only built one, and relied heavily on the internet and a friend of mine whose a real programmer. My experience is mostly limited to that and playing pranks on people at school. @Bugsy6912

I'm fine with warbreaker. I haven't read it because I started and didn't like it (please don't get upset haha). But I'd love to see the emporers soul one! I know a little c+ and python. Hardly any. Just enough to do some arduino stuff and tune my drones and quadcopters, which, in addition to neglecting responsibilities and reading cosmere, is my other hobby! Whats the elimination forum about? Poisoned spiked or hemalurgy spiked??? Also, do I need to quote someone every time I am "responding" to their post?

I feel way in over my head. Y'all are crazy. I thought I was a obsessed fanboy, but I've been blown out of the water reading the forums today! (The craziness is a good thing though) My favorite series is stormlight, and I've read everything except warbreaker and one or two novellas. The Loss of free will part was really interesting. In the bond a spren becomes more human-like, it seems reasonable to say that it would make a human more spren-like. Each order has such strict beliefs that are very static and allow very little character complexity for the "perfect" knight. Like you said, this could change our perspective of the Recreance from a act of betrayal to one of desperation, as if that was their only way to escape their oaths that became progressively more restrictive.

Do we know what age she was when that happened? It seems odd that she would have said even the first ideal as a kid.

Shallan killed her mother with Pattern as a little girl. Does that mean that she said three ideals (the number, by my count, that Kaladin said before Syl was able to be a blade) as a child? Or can lightweavers use their spren as a blade with less ideals? Am I wrong altogether? Any help understanding this would be greatly appreciated.
