Quick Fix Game 27: Lord of the Lynches: Terror in Minas Tirith
manukos replied to Elenion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
ok so i want to talk about 3 things 1) first the vote switch was made in anticipation of the politician voting for me as i was the one with the 2nd most votes (excluding sony ) i missed BR's vote and so thought that if asterion is indeed evil, the politician would had tied and that would have been bad 2) @Orlok Tsubodai uhhhh how certain are you , my read from straw is slightly positive , if you want to commit i will follow cos like i said if we dont all agree on a lynch the elims will tie or outnumber us , but i'd feel more cofident going for either alvron or sony for reasons stated above (also about that , can you give me some feedback on my views ?) 3) i have the ring ..... yeah , just that OK I THINK I AM DONE WITH BEING CUTE , AS ORLOK SAID MOST OF MY PAST MESSAGES HAVE HIDDEN PHRASES OR WORDS CREATED BY THE FIRST LETTER IN EACH LINE -

oh... this is rly bad . i currently trust 3 other players : orlok , jondesu and straw that leaves one more good player unaccounted for i am placing doc and BR in the middle and leaning evil with sony alvron and mestiv , out of these sony makes sense for the reasons indicated by randuir (gaining more weight now that he has been exonerated post mortem ) , and alvron from a team balancing perspective out . i am willing to hear alternatives but we dont have much time also i'd like to ask the villagers to vote every day unanimusly or we tie and this is smth we dont want i am open to options -

@Orlok Tsubodai well he made cases against most of the others , and i dont think it is highly unlikely that the politician cast the vote before straw subtrackted his , also since i had my doubts about asterion it seemed/ seems like a better alternative uhhhh fine i'll stay awake until the turnover , just dont expect high quality of posts i am becoming sleepy P.S. edit: just to be clear, if the votes dont change until the end of the day i am changing mine back to senorita in expectation for the politician -

Great post @randuir , also thanks for conveying my view on asterion so well . you make some great points and i am inclined to follow you Just, could you explain better why you think it was an elim responsible for the politician vote ? IF I DIE BEFORE YOU FIND OUT MY SECRET I'LL BE MAD -

I am terribly sorry for not posting yesterday , That being said i'd probably have gone with roadwalker as well , Now that he has been proven to be good tho i think that we have enough infotmation to start making educated guesses insted of wishfull shots in the dark On that not i'd like to share a brief rundown of my views on some indeviduals Randuir/alvron/br : i think that at least one of them is an elim for the teams to be kinda balanced but i wouldnt risk a lynch as 2/3 were insightfull and 1 is fun Mestiv voted on jodensu (see below) so this could mean he is evil , but as randuir so astutly said , why not flat out asassinate him and do it with lynching? Asterion would be my guess for best target , however his bandwagon today without excuses seems too fitting for an elim , so i am split Lastly about the usualy innactives like megasif queensteph and doc i dont think i can make an accurate assesment Yo, i think i am missing something tho , oh the possitives I would have to place sony and straw in the middle to good category both have periodicaly made posts that promote discussion as seen by the above So , as for the mostly good i think orloc is almost surely loyal to gondor and i am leaning with jodensu being good as well tho i cant be certain End of topic, next up , my vote : i think i am going to vote for "notaries371" but i want to hear what he has to say for himself Zzzz, eyelids ...are ...heavy , writing these posts is hard if i want to keep encryptions mostly consistent so i'll keep posts per day to a minimum BUT THIS ONE IS QUITE HARD! {edit : i got ninjad twice in one post , i am too slow a typer , after reading senorita731's response i would have to say that i agree with the gist of it . usualy trading a death for an exoneration is a fair trade especialy early on, and i have even volunteered to take the hit in the past (tho id prefer if i was the one who got to live), however at that point in the game i cant go with that plan , i think we need an elim kill more than a soft clear that could die the next day , having said that i agree with him on the last point that killing him wont give us that much info (if he isnt an elim ) so i'd prefer to go with a better option if anyone has a better alternative , until then i am puting my vote on asterion137} -

i'd gladly do that senpai , basically after the ... thing two people voted on me , doc made an analitical post for the day as a whole that also well established his views on why he felt suspicious of my post on the other hand steel dancer's only concern seemed to be that it was ilogical or smt like that my point is that while doc's posts seemed more general in nature , steeldancer's felt more targeted (i think i am translating idioms incorrectly :/ ) as for why one of them idk, perhaps i want to belive i did something with my ploy , i am petty like that i would also like to say that i rly doubt there are secret roles , items perhaps but i dont get the feeling NO RLY YOU ARE NOT SEARCHING HARD ENOUGH! -
Quick Fix Game 27: Lord of the Lynches: Terror in Minas Tirith
manukos replied to Elenion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
there is a role archetype called jester , basicaly they want to be lynched to win and usualy have some other effect like kill someone who voted you or something i am not one though , as to the confusion caused i am sorry @Straw even if i dont think it was that impactful, as for the ring i dont think it is an event trigger , perhaps it could be a win con for something like a hobbit but i dont think it is anything more than what it stated , also, for the record i dont have it -
Quick Fix Game 27: Lord of the Lynches: Terror in Minas Tirith
manukos replied to Elenion's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Ok i 've gotten enough , it'd be unreasonable to keep this going any further tho i hoped that you caught the hint Hmm perhaps my encryptions might have been too good So we were at a point with too few info, so as Sylvester from twig once said: when the box is too static atempt to act in an unexpected direction to catch people Off guard and check for reactions . i never expected for it to work on smn like orloc senpai or randuir but i did expect a new player to come after me. Risk of the ploy would be that it might cause confusion but i dont think it did that , Regarding my vote i think steeldancer is the most lekely one even thogh i am not fully convinced You can chose to lynch me for this and i'd be fine with that , but i found it nessecary to do something that could give us more/any info and i thought it outweighed the risk of shuting conversation about the breadcrums of info that we had . also just so that we are clear i am not an elim YOU ARE NOT LOOKING HARD ENOUGH , THERE IS ALWAYS AN OTHER SECRET -

Hmmmm... *facepalms* twigeye ... or is that cosidered a slap ? I know but it does make ilogical sense Dont let me foget @randuir good observation though now i am not sure i it gives them us more insentive to do it since they'll you'll Expect their our predicting that and...i am cofused Not that it doesnt pain me but i'll have to go now , ill be back in a couple of hours to see the aftermath -

Look at it ! ofcourse now that i am finaly here early there are no secrets to uncover. I rly dont know what i can extrapolate from this , it is surtenly a bad thing that we lost sami being the steward and all that . Entertaining would be actualy if an elim revealed himself , it would rly help . So.... come to think of it ,lets go with this, i am an eliminator ! HOW GOOD AN EYE DO YOU HAVE ? -

oops totaly sliped my mind tanks for the mention orloc i dont think i have much to add that hasnt already been said (perhaps i'll do a whole reread of the game so far tomorow and find out something but currently i am anoyed by how little information we have , i mean it is only day 2 but it seems little even by those standards) i do have a question though , when did the speculation for a 3rd party stem from? P.S. if ppl can plz stop finding out the encryptions before i have a chance to decrypt them that'd be great -

How do you think a reflecting Line of Vigor looks?
manukos replied to Fallen Rope's topic in The Rithmatist
i belive it would be the same as the common depiction of how light waves are reflected first of all i am prety sure that the angle of reflection would be the same as the angle of incidence as for the wigliness of the line i dont think it matters very much , but id imagine that if the light comparison stands it would mean that it would continue the "patern" or oscillation if you may -
Hahhaha tottaly missed that . Nice eye
