Seriously? damnation, man, Scadrial's got it made in the shade. No wonder the Lord Ruler was terrified of a technological uprising, the sheer potential for advancement is incredible. Fun fact, we could have had fuel-efficient electric cars as early as the 1890s... oh, how history would have altered if we had gone that route.

Holy crap, now that's a series of unfortunate events, eh?

Does buying an audiobook count?

I wasn't sure if it would be more appropriate to pitch this topic here or on the Roleplaying forum, but I noticed the forum's mainly for posting for anyone interested playing this or that game. Hence, I've decided to post this here~ Where I would like to share with you, the good people of the 17th Shard fansite, some of my crazy freaking roleplaying stories as a seasoned Game Master and, occasionally, player. Lo, from games as far as Dungeons & Dragons to Pathfinder, from Call of Cthulhu to homebrews of Avatar: The Last Airbender... and yes, why, even a few stories set in the world of Mistborn (thank you, official Mistborn RPG!). And more importantly, if there's anyone here with their own cool stories about their roleplaying experiences, please! Feel free to share! "What qualifies as a cool or crazy story?" All up to you. Opening the floor... now!

"Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” New headcanon: Either Paul or Leto Atreides is a Sliver, like the Lord Ruler.

And suddenly, it seems more than possible that worldhopping will no longer be relegated to secretive thousand-year-old organizations with multidimensional-expanding agendas (or merely the one thousand-year-old man with a multidimensional-expanding agenda). Imagine a Star Trek-y universe, complete with a Federation, that links all the major Cosmere worlds together so that any man, woman or child could visit these worlds and learn and experience the wonders on each planet we the audience have grown to love.

Also, just for fun, Molly Carpenter gets mainly a team of psychic Pokémon, Thomas gets the prettiest but deadliest Pokémon on his team... Hell, Mouse probably counts as a Pokémon in his own right. Calling it, he's Normal/Fairy.- 49 replies

Hm. I'm not sure about Delphox. As Fire-Starters go it might be a little too effeminate. ... Why not Rapidash? There's boatloads of horse motifs surrounding Harry (see: Ebenezer's affectionate nickname for him).- 49 replies

He does more or less manipulate Wax to kill people for the greater good... which, even by his own admission, is a moral quandary he has to wrestle with every second of his existence. Which is to say nothing of his tight control on the kandra population to prevent the means by which they might reproduce and replenish their rapidly dwindling numbers. So, yeah, I'd say Fairy/Dark sounds about right.- 49 replies
