    For quite a long time I thought Tolkien is best then I read GRRM Song of Ice and Fire and first I thought that I found new best but later books spoiled it and I got bored and then I read Brandon for the first time. It was Final Empire and I just coudln’t believe how much I loved it and when I finished trilogy I cried because I wanted more. Also after Brandon on second place I have Steven Erikson because Malazan Book of Fallen is just epic and then Partick Rothfuss but none of them are near him. And I was very surprised that I loved SA may be even more and during Oathbriger I seriously cried at least 4 times (and I normally don’t do it)

    Definitely Mistborn. It is complete trilogy and the least cosmere complicated work. Or Elantris if you watn just one book. Btw welcome

    Only perfect gem can trap Unmade. It is specifically said so during Oathbringer that that black sphere is not describe at perfect gem.

    That is true but still why would he be afraid? And that mindset he have on the ship when he was so close..... I think he needs to let go in some way but it is not freedom. I would say it is opposite, he needs to accept what happened and to let it go but not to be rid of responsibily just not to be burden with it to the point when he can move (Kholinar).

    Freedom idea is too easy. Kaladin is afraid of Fourth Ideal. The more he gats close to it the more he is afraid of it. He was closest in that ship and when Adolin was injured he really didn’t want to say it but if it would be to choose freeedom to die Syl would not propabably think it will save Adolin.
