I don't think you should make that vow. We can't expect you to answer straight-up "I'm an Elim." And in my opinion, it's fun to be betrayed and look back on it.

Welcome! I'd advise reading everything else by Brandon that you can get to, e.g. Mistborn, Elantris, or Warbreaker. For other material, I'd read A Song of Ice and Fire. It's not for the faint of heart, but it is really good. If you like sci-do, the Saga of Shadows by Kevin J. Anderson is amazing. Also, don't take the cookies.

Well. I have the same personality as Batman. And Littlefinger. And Tywin Lannister. And Katniss Everdeen. And Professor Moriarty. And Gandalf. And Aaron Burr. Not sure if I should be proud of this.

No, it is. Trust me. Why? Well, Brandon isn't even going to write Mistborn Era 4. Scadrial is becoming increasingly like Earth. And so, at the end of Era 3, it will be revealed that Calamity has came to Scadrial, or Earth. Really, Era 4 will just be the Reckoners trilogy.

If this were a fantasy novel, I'd say wait for your brother to be killed by an assassin with magical powers while you're away, then later find out that she wanted you, causing a massive amount of gossip at the warcamps I mean school, which is only overshadowed by the fact that your friend left you for dead somewhere. On second thought, maybe that isn't the best idea. Are there other social groups at school? If your friend group is the robotics team, then join something else. That'll just naturally build friendships.
