Long Game 30: Journey Before Destination
Assassin in Burgundy replied to Amanuensis's topic in Sanderson Elimination
The stars were out. Araon saw them every night, but tonight was different. Spheres lit the pavilion, but only made the stars look brighter. They shone truer than the Stormlight, and stood out against the darkness of space. He sat down, his back against the wall in the far corner of the celebration. He had no place in these events, and contrasted sharply between the partygoers. He wore a simple fur cloak and a chull-leather tunic, and as a result, tried to escape the bright colors and frivolity that most people possessed. He decided to try and stay away from the conversation, and gathered his cloak around him. Araon continued to look upwards, and began to pick out the constellations. He had relied on their guidance to get to the Shattered Plains, and would continue to give them the reverence they deserved. Taln's Scar was bright tonight, as it always was. He continued to scan the sky, and found the triangular shape of the Honorblade, along with the "U" shape of Jezerezah's Crown. Then his face contorted. The Highstorm, an extremely rare wave-shaped set of stars, was bright red. His eyes narrowed. It was said that it only appeared in times where change was coming, and was a sign of bad tidings. As he watched, the glow from the constellation flared, then completely faded. He blinked, and like around. No one else seemed to have seen it. The message was for him alone, it seemed. The Desolations would once again ravage the land, and the only path Araon could see ahead of him was one of fire and blood. -

Well, that was honestly a lot more fun than I expected! I thought it would be near-impossible, but not at all! Great write-up, btw. -

Anniversary Game 3: The Curse of the Koloss
Assassin in Burgundy replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
First of all, I'd like to present some statistics. In every game I've ever played except one, I have been lynched for acting suspicious. Do you know how many times I've been Elim in those cases? None. Never. But still I'm lynched for acting weird. In my case, if I'm acting normal, then something's wrong.- 1403 replies

Anniversary Game 3: The Curse of the Koloss
Assassin in Burgundy replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I made the conspiracy because people kept poke voting me and asking me to talk more. IIRC, I was the first to vote on HH; I didn't just join it. And the main reason I voted for him was because he consistently voted without any explanation, not because he joined a single bandwagon. Also, why was it a bad idea to tell people to lurch Arinian? He was basically the MVP for us. And how was it bad to ask him to clear me? A lot of people suspected me, including you, and I wanted to be proved, once and for all, as villager. EDIT: And to be honest, I never really trusted Arinian's Seeking until he died. It seemed basically to good to be true, and if you remember, after he helped us lynch Nyali, my suspicions that he was an Elim protecting his teammates faded for the most part. A Seeker giving us information on who and who wasn't an Elim just seemed too good to be true.- 1403 replies

When Unjust investigate/execute, is this as a group or individually? Like can each Unjust investigate or kill, or do they all get one or the other? -

Anniversary Game 3: The Curse of the Koloss
Assassin in Burgundy replied to Metacognition's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Is this how it works? @Metacognition, when you say "If scanned by a seeker, they will show up as nothing," does that mean it'll just say "Regular villager" or "Your attempt was blocked?" Btw, Arranae, I'm not finding you suspicious due to this. I'm just saying that we can't 100% clear scanned people. Unless, of course, you're correct.- 1403 replies

We can't 100% clear them because at this point, probably all Spiked are Mistborn. They could've rolled copper at some point. While it definitely is a very good indication that they are village, we can't 100% clear them.- 1403 replies

Yep. I started when I was young, and not even the Ja has been able to help me. Don't do drugs kids. Wouldn't this not entirely help? Because you can't really tell if Elims vote manipped to protect one of their own or to implicate someone. It come down to a coin flip, essentially.- 1403 replies
