I think IHAT said theirs has been on so maybe tentatively put it on Honor until they come online and clarify @Ookla the Wallfacer on the off chance that honor does not show up, we should get someone else to smoke them too edit 3: so now we have the following smoked: wallfacer —> extends to Honor divergent —> extends to TUO IHAT (unsure if they can extend this turn, but if assuming they can) —> extends to Alv Honor (has not confirmed anything yet but if assuming they can act this turn) —> extends to either TUO or Alv stick —> if Drake lets me I’ll target Honor as well Does that look ok… I have a headache now lol someone help. i think there’s probably a more optimal way to choose these targets I’ve mostly put them at random

gosh I rly wish we had PMs open rn lol but ok, im hoping the rest of us didn’t turn it on night 4 and we’re able to coordinate targets now I smoked mippo cuz almost everyone else is able to self-smoke lol and I don’t rly trust alv. i also thought that if the elims rly stole the soother then they would prioritise killing a smoker overnight over the tineye, just to decrease the pool of smoked voters. not rly sure what the strat is

The idea is, I don’t want the e soother to know who they can target, I don’t think it’s smart to reveal who is currently smoked (tho revealing past targets is fine). If they know who isn’t protected they’ll just win by soothing them and piling on one villager. also, just to clarify did u explicitly turn it on d1?

As in, if someone turned it on during the night 4 (which is what I assume most of us have been doing) then we can’t change it today since it can only be changed after a whole cycle

unfortunately I don’t think we can turn on our copper clouds during the day so the e!soother will just have to guess who is smoked and who isn’t and who knows……maybe I lied about having my coppercloud on

i think everyone prolly alr knows bc of PMs but for the sake of clarity im also a smoker - my copperclouds’s been turned on since TJ died (so really it was only on for a single cycle rip) no one has counter claimed thug so if they left it in it can only be tuo (& and if someone counter claims it now, two turns later, I am treating it as an elim claim lol). im inclined to believe they’d want a Lurcher over thug to counter the v coinshot because u can use a Lurcher for v cred too. Thug, not so much. but of course the e!lurcher will never claim here bc that will be a death sentence for them obviously EDIT: and I just realised something super important: IF tuo is indeed a thug AND an elim, it’s very important we do not exe him today because we know for a FACT the elims have mistborn (d1 riot cannot be explained any other way, villa rioter has flipped and was not responsible for that one). IF this elim coinshot has rolled steel today (or the next cycle) then we straight up lose unless we FLIP an elim today like i said yesterday, if elims look mistborn, Lurcher, and soother, then they don’t have enough points to touch the thug. however, if they do have the soother then all they have to do today is wagon a non-TUO villager and bam, that’s it. it’s possible they do this in the last minute today and if so then there’s nothing that we can do about it really. but the e!mistborn complicates things because of their ability to have rolled coinshot (or the potential to roll it tomorrow - either way, if they do that they win) & I’ll be honest if we’re hunting the e mistborn today i think it’s Alv. can elaborate later but gtg now

Gonna be honest Id just woken up 2 seconds ago (Asia timezone) and didn’t have time to process the legitimacy of it, but i HAD been expecting a v thug so the decision wasn’t rly hard (if im right about my mech speculation above, the v thug should exist). Also in general when it comes to lylo voting, a thug is never the right choice regardless of their alignment so it’s best to be safe ignore the fact that it wasn’t actually lylo somehow. Think that means 3 elims or some role distro factors hoping i made the right choice cuz a v thug existing could be one of the distro factors that allows the game to continue here with 4 elims

All that anxiety for the game to not even end uve gotta be kidding me lol but it’s a relief tho looking thru the roles quickly, if elims took mistborn (cuz the riot), Lurcher (cuz villa coinshot) and soother (cuz soothe) then there aren’t enough points for them to remove or steal thug which would make TUO our thug, unless someone wants to counter claim- do it now

ok idk about everyone else but i am already a HUGE divergent fan they are just not playing this like an elim in lylo, i think they are here to solve and are bringing in an outsider perspective which personally i find very refreshing and am choosing to v read bc i think the elim strat post-subbing in would typically just be "hard push random villa to death and ignore p much everything else and instantly win". or at least that's how i wouldve done it. but i like the nuance in their posts at this stage which indicates an actual willingness to solve. 10/10 if ur e imma just let u win (also I had secretly began to lose a bit of faith in my IHAT townread at times during the last cycle but i think im comfy with it again now after some PMs but if the game ends here & we lose to e!IHAT i am still claiming cred points for having this thought ) @Ookla the Broken (edit: tagged u here but forgor to add: idt mippo is e so pls maybe switch votes? consider ksauce) regarding doc: there's been a few instances of of me going ?? with my read on him more recently, like him being weirdly curious about hunting down the coinshot in PMs and the whole honor claiming mistborn conundrum which ive been trying to make sense of in various pms between all involved parties for like the past cycle and while i think i get it now (appears to be mostly a misunderstanding?) it's still making me go ok there's something in there right? ive had some micro villa pings from his posts too, but the tj and jo votes are kinda hard to ignore and now i feel like he may be trying to strongarm the game into an e win cuz idt mippo is e. mippo claimed their role to me earlier in the game too and they know mine and im kinda also reading IHAT's vote switch to mippo as a request from doc via pms (i might be cooking too hard here) BUT: i would like to put Ksauce on the table as an option. ive spoken about them already, i saw their response to my post too and it's ok but doesnt resolve my suspicion much. i know theyre likely not around to defend themself but it's lylo so we cant just afford to wait and if im going by sheer level of townleans, ksauce is the player ive had the least town pings from out of everyone alive. or well, i guess he'd be in a tie with Alvron but im sure we would all feel rly frickin dumb if tj scanned this guy red n1 and went to bed without claiming it, i dont think he anticipated dying to the exe that cycle, and typically the seeker plan would be to stay on the down low, scan a villager and then share all their scans with them which they communicate to the thread for the seeker. that way they live long enough to get max utility out of their role. tj voted ksauce which is not an uncommon way for a seeker to breadcrumb their scans. i will vote doc over mippo if i have to do it to save mippo

sorry yall this weekend has just been the busiest for me i didn’t get anything done (guess u guys saved me the jo iso) and it’s looking like ill be super occupied tmr as well but i might have the evening for this feelings rn are that the jo wagon formation seems sussy to me but im aware there was some coordination for it in PMs so that might explain some of it. i just hate how everything happens only when im asleep grr

yeah, agreed, I’ll give u that one - which is why im not rly giving broken any extra points for the mech talk alone tbf. its been more about the sheer passion and the solving energy for me lol @Ookla the Broken if u can, could u pls give an updated reads list with ur thoughts on each player, ideally not taking into account the role mechanics? even if u don’t have many thoughts, if ur a villager this is gonna help others find u

nice ok at the risk of looking like an idiot in a e!IHAT world, i actually have the opposite opinion on them (when discussing them with Fura I had a quick glance at their previous game - it seemed to me like this game is considerably more role heavy than that one, and so it’s understandable why a newer player would be excited over role mechanics and take that angle of solving) i would’ve agreed with u about the whole fura accusation stemming from tmi, had a village rioter not flipped already. ookla the redeemed was a rioter, which means that the elims knew there was a village rioter somewhere in the game. confidently accusing fura of not being one after they claimed it is a very dangerous route for an elim to take because it’s very hard to climb out of that hole once u get the rioter exe’d, but an elim that has removed the village rioter would easily be able to channel their tmi about it to accuse Fura of lying and sounding very genuine while doing it because they’d know they are correct about it

Ooooor the coinshot/elim forgor to submit an action or a coinshot doesn’t exist (got removed, and the extra n1 kill was mistborn…but that gets tricky with the d1 riot) im not too sure why elims would kill experience, I was going to hard push them today for the exe cuz they were p much my only suspicion and I also didn’t love the analysis they posted lol… so it would be dumb of elims to target them for the nk. this in turn tells me the elims didn’t actually steal the coinshot. It’s likely with a villager and the elims just forgot to put in a nk. if both targeted ookla the counter then that’s a bit weird but I might just chalk it up to “they thought counter was a power role” im wondering if we should just mass claim let me just go thru the remaining PL: 1. TUO - I remember having an early villa lean on them but forgot the reasoning - and if I forgot then it probably wasn’t very good to begin with… 2. Ksauce - they are kinda flying under the radar (for me, at least) so far. TJ was suspecting them so im gonna honor his read there and give Ksauce a thorough look today. While I do that im gonna leave a placeholder vote just in case Ksauce 3. Broken - still going strong on my v read here, the way they are navigating the game so far reads like they are completely alone with their own independent thoughts (ie not speaking with a team in the background) 4.
