I have. Many characters do not have quotes, and if they do, they are either too short, full of spoilers, or they aren't actually things they have said aloud.

(LAST POST, I PROMISE) Hello friends!! You're going to get sick of seeing these posts very soon, so bear with me. For a project in my Digital Print class, we have to make a deck of cards, and I'm creating Cosmere character cards! Each one will have a picture, name, title, and a small quote. The attachment below is a small glimpse at what at least one side will look like! Will you help me? I don't have my books here with me at school!! Warbreaker: Vivenna, Siri, Susebron ( I know I know he's mute almost the whole time but things he writes count too!), Vasher, Lightsong Stormlight: Navani, Renarin, Adolin, Sadeas, Szeth. Mistborn I: Vin, Kelsier, Sazed, Tindwyl, TenSoon, Elend, Marsh, Human Mistborn II: Wax, Wayne, Steris, Marasi, Ranette Elantris: Raoden, Sarene, Hrathen, Galladon Thank you all so much! If possible, I need the quotes by Friday the 10th!

Omg! This might be my favorite comment I've ever gotten on my art! I'm not usually one for landscapes, but I liked this one so much that maybe I'll try it again sometime! Well, ACTUALLY, my sister (Tharatariel10 on here) is working on a musical composition of the Nightform song, so when we were talking about what sort of picture she could use for her video, we decided I should just make one! She described it and I took some liberties, and poof! -
Hey, the cool thing about book characters is everyone pictures them differently! Even though this doesn't look ANYTHING like my version of Adolin, I LOVE IT. You are great at expressions and Adolin's hair looks great too! I also love how his eyes look. -
Thank you! Yes I'm not sure if this will be how I always draw Hoid...but the nice thing is he kind of always looks different so it works in a way! Those are unfortunately not specific shard worlds...I'm afraid I didn't put enough research into their appearance and size for that. Still, you get the idea! -
I wasn't sure where to put this one, since Hoid is in a lot of books...I haven't ever tried to draw him before but I'm pretty pleased with the result!

@Tharatariel10 asked for this piece! It will be relevant soon and the title will make sense and you'll probably understand why she asked for it to be drawn...but for now it's just a piece of concept art and trying to grasp what the Parshendi look like. :)

@sheep I think it looked awesome! But I will tell you that Tharatariel and I ran into a few snags and ours didn't last overnight either. Pinterest failed me but I think we've figured out what we did wrong. First, we shouldn't have used eyeliner as a base, that got in the way of the sharpie connecting right to our skin. Secondly, Pinterest said that you need to put baby powder on it, and then hairspray, but our mom was like "what were you thinking hairspray is known to REMOVE ink from things". So now we're going to try again tomorrow night, (now with a fine tipped Sharpie as well, so they'll be less ginormous) and we're JUST going to use baby powder. We'll update when we can! We're determined to get it to work. BTW I think your design is awesome and you did a great job...your friends are mean.

We sorta used eyeliner first so we could draw it out (we used a photo reference) before we did the sharpie. Unfortunately, it seems like the combo of baby powder and hairspray to set it isn't working all that well (Pinterest has FAILED ME) so we may have to do touch ups tomorrow... I definitely don't think I'd be able to do on myself! Your design is awesome though and if you have an artistically proficient friend or family member you should totally go for it.

Sooo @Tharatariel10 is visiting me (and our parents I guess) and we gave each other temporary tattoos with sharpies! Let's hope they actually last the month like there supposed to! Tharatariel is in the red shirt, I'm in purple.

Thanks for the compliments and the artistic advice @sheep! I appreciate it. I didn't have any sort of reference on hand when I drew the Shardplate (I was both without book and without internet I believe) so I expected it to be a little inaccurate. Just to clarify though, that's not bare skin in the gaps, it's more of an undersuit thing. I guess I should have made more of a difference between its color and the color of his skin!

Honestly, I don't know if I'm remembering my first experience correctly! I'm preeeetty sure that I read Way of Kings first. It was recommended to me by a now former boyfriend around, oh, let's see....4 years ago? I loved it. Then I read Mistborn, and Well of Ascension, but I never wound up finishing Hero of Ages for whatever reason. I think it's because I started to read Way of Kings over again so that I could read Words of Radiance! I got all discombobulated. Earlier this year I read Elantris, and now I've re-read Mistborn and I'm working through Well of Ascension so I can finish that trilogy and finally read the Wax and Wayne books. I also took a brief break from WoA to read White Sand! I immediately connected with Branderson's writing style and his incredible ability to create characters. Not only do the books offer me endless hours of entertainment, but they also fuel my creative inspiration for art. After I broke up with my boyfriend who is a fan, almost three years ago, I basically suffered with all my feels alone because the Tumblr community of fans wasn't that big back then and I didn't know this forum existed. So when I told @Tharatariel10 to read Way of Kings this summer, I was secretly hoping that she'd like it enough to blab to me about it. After a few weeks of daily phonecalls, 6am texts, and lots of "AAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH"s, I've created a monster. Now I'm not alone anymore! Next step: converting Tharatariel's husband...we've got him started on White Sand!

Thanks @Hitoshizuku!! He's definitely a hard one to capture...I'm glad you think I was successful! Haha my personal image of Adolin is him having sidecuts/undercuts on his hair, with cool designs shaved into them. I thought it would be an interesting way to show his interest in fashion, and maybe a more frivolous side, while still being acceptable for battle and court.
