  1. Sorry Aman I had no reason to trust you other than your word, as you have mine, and being that this game is all words I can't help but be extra cautious.. Bugsy I'm pretty sure you mentioned that you were going to target Aonar if he wasn't being detained, but someone else told you to target Rubiks because we will detain Aonar, but that was during the Day cycle.. and we never got a confirmation from sheep. Side note, I can't be sure that Joe wouldn't have done what he said he did, but I don't feel like he was lying to me.. he redirected Aonar last time, so if he was corrupted last time Aonar can't be Fain, so either someone else is and corrupted Joe to frame Aonar, or Aonar is and Joe isn't corrupted, I mean I guess that they could have worked together to corrupt Rubiks, but why would they, there are better choices.. (no offense) in terms of roles. But honestly I think we are missing something here.. if Joe did the redirect we discussed, and it worked, then Aonar could not have corrupted anyone and we are totally on the wrong track. I think either Mail is lying and was corrupted last cycle, or there is another channeler/wisdom amongst us that's either DF or corrupt? Seems less likely to me but not impossible I guess. If there was only 3 corruptions Fain is not as big of an issue, since there would be nothing more he can do... If they have a wisdom though that is a huge problem and I don't want to believe that. @STINK I would suggest sniffing Joe, or me if you're unsure about the ta'veren's.. but if we don't want to lynch Mail then sniff him to see if he was redirected (If that even shows up in a sniff.. I'm not sure).
  2. Well Bugsy had told me he was going to target Rubiks, I figured that if we could test only one of you, since Joe was focusing on Aonar, that you were the better choice because we would have known if Rubiks was when he was killed..
  3. Joe and I planned together, he was to redirect Aonar to Aonar or to Rubiks again ( I wasn't sure if a redirection to himself would work I'm not sure what he ended up doing), so if he did that, than Aonar could not have corrupted Rubiks twice or himself.. I redirected Aman to Aonar to test his villagerness, and unless there is another DF you are in the clear because sheep is not Aonar. If we both did as we planned Mail could not have been redirected.. unless there is another ta'veren.. which is unlikely since there's already been three... I didn't want to post in thread because I wanted to test Aman without him knowing, since he was pushing to not waste his extra life so hard I thought I should be sure.
  4. Oh this sounds like loads of fun! And terribly confusing.. I'm not feeling incredibly confident with my ability to understand the rules and not make a fool of myself in LG22 right now, but alas, one must play to learn! I will sign up as Jaena, former mistress to a minor lord, trying to keep herself in an elevated status despite the revolution and the death of her lover. I will try to RP, but I completely failed at that in LG22 after a couple, mostly because of time constraints, so we shall see.
  5. Maybe you're confusing what Stink does? Hes a Thief Taker which is different it tells you who the person targeted the night before not their role or faction. Personally I think its likely that we would have two.. Especially since there seems to be no Vanilla roles, two viewers two wisdoms. Side note... Did Gamma forget about us D: or am I off about the turn over time being last night?
  6. That's a good point, like I said I'm not against it just making sure people understand we won't learn anything from it.
  7. I don't see how him being detained would prove anything.. I'm not against it, but if hes not Fain whoever is isn't going to corrupt someone because they know your detaining him to prevent it.... you're literally giving Fain a perfect cover IF its not Aonar. Detaining is still better than killing, just in case, but I'm just saying it's not necessarily going to prove anything.
  8. @Haelbarde I too have a small scar between my eyes from probably the dumbest injury ever.. At least you were trying to protect yourself I was trying to get out of the rain and into my car as fast as possible.. In the process I pulled my car door open right into my face nearly knocked myself out (I literally saw stars) and gave my self a black eye as well as the scar that remains.. there was lots of blood it was not my finest moment.. but of course my friend who was with me had to take pictures so there's always those to laugh at
  9. I remember seeing your video on Brandon's FB! It was awesome Welcome!
  10. @Amanuensis The only successful redirect (that actually did something) was N4. I am not going to say who I redirected Bugsy to in thread, because I don't want to give him away, and he said he'd like to wait. I said I did not redirect him to Bard so he is not the one who put in the DF kill, which is enough info for now. I didn't redirect anyone N1, N2 I was detained, and N3 I redirected Conquestor to Seonid and got that awful redirection successful message the screwed up Conquestors lynch (still feel bad about that, in and out of game..)
  11. Wow.. okay, either I was on to something or it is a convenient lie.. Im willing to risk it right now to try and get another scan in tonight and give him a chance to prove it. @Amanuensis I'm sorry about my rant, its a rough day and I have my cranky pants on, but I was so frustrated with your insistence, I think I feel how Elodin does (or how i interpreted what Elodin meant at least), that there just isn't a good lynch target and it feels forced. I am going to put a Mayoral vote on Meta I see no reason not to trust him, I know some have said that he may have thrown his own team member under the bus to take suspicion off himself early on but honestly I can't see him choosing the forsaken, of all people to use as a diversion why give up an extra kill for that.. and his dreamwalkerness seems to be likely at this point to. He could be corrupted but not if hes a dreamwalker and has been untargetable each night. That aside, the only problem I have with detaining Aonar is that he cannot scan (to hopefully prove himself) and Fain would totally take that opportunity to skip a corruption and get you guys to think that confirms Aonar and secure one more cycle for himself, because you said it in thread.. If you had saved that for a PM conversation it would be a much better plan.
  12. There are so many reasons why this annoys me. No I'm not grasping at straws, I'm offering a counterclaim to yours. If there's anything I've learned from playing this game so far it's that just following someone's suggestion because it sounds good a logical is not a good idea. We need to look at all sides and decide if the potential cost is worth the potential gain. As you said about my counter claim, yes it's possible, and it's your personal opinion that's it's not the case.. It's my personal opinion that it's worth extra consideration, that's not grasping at straws. I'm also super annoyed by you using me "not saying his name" as suspicious.. If I have to quote myself I will but Im lazy and I don't want to. I said Hael and or Aonar several times in my first post, and then obviously you know who I'm talking about, so I'm going to say he rather than repeat myself again and again. Maybe people don't come back because having the "your new so you could easily get away with this" argument, or assuming what the GM would do with a new person is frustrating, how do you defend stuff like that? And having to get through a few games, until your not new for people to stop using that against you seems daunting. Ugh. I find it weird that you are pushing this so hard and refusing to look at any other possibility and throwing accusations at me for trying to be more careful and explore your theory further. Im not going to vote for you because it would be a waste of a lynch if you are Aiel, I'm not voting for Aonar because I'd like to give him a chance to reveal in PMs if he is useful, and prove it during the night cycle, and I'm going to stick with my vote on winter because like I said if we run the risk of losing a villager I don't want it to be someone who is helping and contributing to the conversation. I'm not going to just blindly follow your argument because it sounds good, there are holes in it, as there are mine, but I think mine is less risky. And I don't even know that I can trust you, I have no reason to. End rant. Phew.
  13. Bah you're right I forgot about that.. So much to remember regardless I think my argument is still valid, even if the chance of wisdom is slim. If he is something useful I could see him wanting to protect that information for as long as possible. I would want to PM about that more and give him a chance to explain himself. Where losing someone who is potentially either, but is not contributing anyway seems like a safer move. Of course that is only my opinion, but it's my rational for keeping my vote where it is for now.
  14. Is it possible that a protection from Hael got redirected on to Rubiks?? Even if Rubiks is Aiel he could have been protected and we wouldn't necessarily know that. I mean there's lot of things we wouldn't have seen. I'm not really sure how I feel about lynching someone just to see if they are Fain without good enough proof to support it.. I'm not saying I trust him, because I don't have enough information either way, but rationally here's my thinking: We haven't seen any Wisdoms die yet, no vanilla players, and only one viewer I think it's possible that if Hael didn't throw the fireball he could have done any number of things we wouldn't have necessarily seen even if it wasn't a protection. It would suck to loose another valuable village role just to see. (I'm trying to be extra careful to make up for my screw up last lynch). I could also see the advantage of playing it neutral If you are a viewer or a wisdom because you would be a huge target to DFs or for corruption. At the same time I know most of us have to die eventually anyway, that's the nature of the game, but still it just seems like a really risky move. I understand that Winter could not be Fain.. But if there is more than 4 DFs she could very well be one even if she is inactive. I'd also rather lose a villager that's not contributing anyway than someone who could potentially be useful.
  15. For now I am going to poke a vote at Winter I have gone back and forth on suspicions of her and she has been pretty inactive so I'd like to hear something. I am also highly suspicious of Aman.. I understand the idea behind claiming someone else role as a way to build trust without actually giving yourself away but I also see it as a highly suspicious move, a great way to cover up being Fain.. but since there is already a vote on him I am not going to go that route just yet.
  16. @The Only JoeGamma didn't message me either, I only knew because Bugsy said it. I assumed he wouldn't have said it if it didn't happen, I can't confirm it otherwise.
  17. Aye Bugsy twas me I learned that you did not put in the DF kill because I did not redirect you to Bard, so that's somewhat helpful.. sorta clears you as DF to me if there is only one left.
  18. Sigh.. logically it makes sense, but super easy to assume that no action would mean yours failed.. troll GM getting me killed
  19. @Hellscythe That's a little harsh.. I mean I get not being able to be sure, but honestly.. Do you think I would be so stupid to make up such an obvious lie. I thought I was catching Conq in a lie, a last ditched effort to save himself from lynching that I could disprove with solid evidence. Clearly I was wrong, but not because I was lying, but because I thought my action being successful meant that what he was saying was completely impossible. If he was indeed lying why would I keep information like that to myself? I had to basically claim to everyone in order to justify why I was certain. Would I do that just to put a huge target on my back? I would be basically guaranteeing my death to lie about something like that.
  20. Aw thanks though, I believe he is self published, so I'm not surprised that it isn't international.. The reviews on Audible look good its got just over 4 stars, but that doesn't mean I will like it haha I figured I'd ask here because we all have at least one similar interest so I'd trust you guys more
  21. Has anyone read Circle of Reign, by Jacob Cooper? I am trying to decide what new (non Brandon) Audio book to listen too, and I am very partial to Michael Kramer who narrates this book (he has narrated several of Brandon's books and Wheel of Time). I am always so nervous about stepping away from authors I'm familiar with because I don't want to be disappointed and waste my Audible credit. If anyone has read/listened to it and thinks its worth it or thought it was a waste of time, let me know! Help a gal out!
  22. I feel awful.. Sorry Conq.. I just saw what Lopen posted after I went to bed.. if I had seen it it probably would have prompted me to ask Gamma about whether or not no action would actually come up unsuccessful because that would be the only reason why I was wrong. @HaelbardeThanks for finding that post from Bard, I'm glad it wasn't me just assuming that that's how it worked, I still feel pretty darn stupid right now though.
  23. Well that explains it then. Burn me. Sorry guys, I was certain... If I wasn't I wouldn't have claimed for basically everyone or put my neck on the line like that...
