  1. Have you seen this Topic? I think it's a great Idea to start a new one, but here it is. I personally have not put a lot of thought into this, but I laud you guys for figuring them out. Nice job, and keep up the good work.
  2. I think that, if we were to do this, it would have to be on an advancement, numbers, and starts, basis. We could include Koloss, and maybe even Kandra, but Inquisitors and Allomancers would have to be out. If I had to put money on one of the Ancient Civs, I'd put it on Genghis Khan. I've always been a huge fan of his, and I think he could probably do it. Of course, he was hugely fascinated by mystics/magic, and was very superstitious, so TLR could probably just strut his stuff and ally with Genghis. As far as the two more modern Civs, I think England has the best chance. TLR never really did any Naval Combat, so even with Kandra and Allomancers, England should be able to stop the problem even before it reaches land.
  3. Is this Ardent Zahel? I don't have a copy of WoR on me, and I don't know where the spot you are talking about is, but if it is Zahel, then we might have some answers for you.
  4. I would appreciate if everyone votes on Lopen, in time for rollover. That would be nice. I've seen people on and not voting, so, vote. And fast.
  5. Nice, Nice. Apparently, I have an ancient lineage. That is to say, my blood, it is old. ... Yeah, that's all I got.
  6. Have you looked at the Cosmere 101 and Cosmere 102 pages on the Shard? I know those have some spoilers, but it is not terrible. I think what you have is pretty good, but there is not really a good way to compile the whole 'cosmere' thing without some major/minor spoilers involved. Again, what you have is very nice, but it is a bit hard, at least for me, to read, although the whole guided tour thing is a very interesting concept, and not quite what I thought it was at the beginning. It is more like an Easter Egg hunt. Easter Eggs in the usual hidden cool things sense. Pretty good job compiling, though, so far, although I know there are some sharders who would know of a lot more easter eggs than I do. There are actually a few threads here on it, and I will look around, but I would suggest you ask some other sharders.
  7. The things you list as reasons for Meat not to be suspicous, are the exact reasons I find him suspicious. Honestly, there is just way to much IKYK going on in this particular game, but I think that Meta is still suspicious. Bard, if you don't take your vote off of me before tonight, and I die, you are going to be perceived as an Elim. Same for the rest of you who still have votes on other people. It would be great if everyone hopped on Meta or Lopen before the day ends, although I will not be on for another 10 or so hours, when I go to bed for the night. I hope Lopen is an Elim. I really do.
  8. I don't mind lynching Lopen, as I said, and I don't want there to be a tie at all. At all. So, I'll join with you guys in the vote on Lopen, and take my vote off of Meta, as much as I don't like to. Bard, Burgundy, I suggest you put your votes on Lopen, if you cannot turn the majority to Meta. Also, if Lopen is village, I will probably want to lynch Meta next round. A lot. If he is an Elim, I'll back off of Meta for the next round. I'll also cancel Lopen's vote on Meta if nothing else happens.
  9. Oh no. Not this again. And this too? Agh. No, please, make it stop. Ok. Lets start at the beginning. I am going to defend myself. I am going to do it with logic, per your request, and I will do it with some amount of emotion. I am not a robot. It was not really a discussion vote, it was a train started by Meta, where he legitimately attacked me for making a mistake. I hate that. A lot. So I defend myself. Agressively, apparently. I thought I was just being thorough. I did not have any reason to vote on Ecth. I thought it was a legitimate possibility that she won the lottery. Plus, I had a bad read on Mark (and frozen), which was wrong(Well, we don't know about Frozen. My biggest defense of her is that she instant-trained on Ecth.), but this is all retrospective stuff. I wanted to see Straw's opinion rather than him just aping what I said, which happened anyway. So, that did not work. Plus, I did not think what I said was really good evidence against her, and looking over it, decided it was poor reasoning. This was litterally a second after I posted it. However, I can see where you are coming from, from a retrospective point of veiw. Yes, I defended myself strongly. I still don't know how to respond to this. I used logic. What? I don't understand. I defended myself by refuting the claims against me, and pointing out other things which contradicted them. I don't know what you mean. I have tried to be a good little villager, helped with lynches, offered decent advice, made plans, talked in the chat, acted like I always do, done what I can. Proof of my villager-y-ness? You can scan me. Other than that, I can't do a lot beyond what I have done. I have voted for Frozen, oddly, I guess, but I have done so consistently, because of my suspicions. When I see that I can't get anywhere, I go for the next best thing. Lately, I have been flowing with the masses, as per my own suggestion. I don't know what else to say. My 'thorough' and 'logical' seems to translate to 'agressive' and 'over the top'. So, deal with me how you will.
  10. How is this a Bane? I'm so confused. Anyway, Drake, you get some Tanavastium. I'm not sure what it would do, but that sounds really cool. It might give you the Surges. Huh. Your bane? You lose all your teeth, Toenails, and Hair. I wish for UNLIMITED POWER! And maybe a toothbrush.
  11. I'm just trying to hit 20 right now. A local ice cream shop gives a larger size of ice cream, free, for each level divisible by five until 20. Free ice cream is a good reason for leveling. The only problem I have is the hacks I know there are for the game, and I never stop wondering if the insanely high leveled things in the gyms near me are legit or not.
  12. I don't have a problem with lynching Meta or Lopen, however the Majority appears to be going with Meta. I suspect him for reasons I have stated the whole game, and were only proven further by Mark being a villager. I don't have anything against Lopen, but if Meta is an Elim, I will be ready to lynch him, and will start to be suspicious of Frozen again. I keep forgetting to enter the Breath lottery. This is starting to get annoying. I blame my schedule. I don't have anything against Doc, at all. That scan claim seemed very odd, but it could have been a mistake. It means Bard is not a potential returned, or a returned (We still don't know what they show up as.), which makes it likely that he is a villager?
  13. I would also say that Allomantic Tin could have a similar effect. A:Tin F:Zinc would probably be the best twin born for fighting Atium in this manner. Analysis of data to the point of precognition. One of my favorite concepts. Feruchemical Zinc + Feruchemical Tin would work just as well, but it would require a Full Feruchemist, who I would believe able to fight an Atium misting any day, with the proper training and experience.
  14. I doubt this is the case. If this was possible, I know some people who should no longer be alive. Seriously though, intelligence matters less than ability in this particular area, seeing as, no matter how intelligent I am, I only have so much Biofeedback capabilities. This has more to do with access to parts of the brain then intelligence. I'd say, personally, his powers work more on the same level as a Mentats, if you have read Dune. If not, I'll explain. You might want to read this even if you have read Dune. Taravangian is already an extremely intelligent, extremely knowledgeable, extremely involved in the world of politics. He has read a lot of books, and is fairly old, old enough to know a lot about what goes on and is going on in the world, and smart enough to have studied a rather lot about the Radiants. When he goes to the nightwatcher, he gains something, and loses something (Intelligence, compassion, both varying.) He also gains an amount of knowledge. With this, on his intelligent days, he becomes a super computer, capable of analyzing data to the extent that he can predict the future. He knows enough about everything that he can deduce, from what he knows, what will/could happen next. On his best intelligent day, he was so intelligent that he was capable of analyzing the data he has, to gain more data, to predict the future based on possible actions in coincidence with what he will do. In effect, he learns what he has to do in order to stop the desolations, based on the info he has. Thus, he builds the Diagram. He also cares almost nothing for Human life on that day, so his Diagram does not take into account compassion, only cold, rational thought. I also would propose that his data was flawed, so he did not predict the future perfectly. Thus, the Diagram is flawed, most likely. Phew. I just came up with this now. That's how genius happens. Your idea could be right as well, I don't know. This is just My Opinion. Your theory definitely has merit, but I have no idea whether either of ours are correct.
  15. Nightwatcher slaps her knees. 'Too late!' 'Unless of course you wish to alter the fabric of time, which I am afraid is beyond my abilities. You could ask Chaos though. I hear his webmaster powers allow him to alter the very fabric of reality, within this site.' I wish for the ability to draw upon Saidin, without going insane, as well as a guidebook.
  16. I'm level 19, started a little while ago, but have an excellent area. I can walk two miles (round trip) and get like 30 pokestops, and like 40 Pokemon, in about an hour. There is not really anything worth getting at my level, most of my best stuff comes from eggs or evolving. But there are a whole ton of Pidgies and Wheedles. So, I just wait till I have about 144 candy for each, activate a lucky egg, and boost two or three levels. The levels I boost get less and less the higher I get, but it's still the best way to level I know. There are also a bunch of Evees, so some of my best stuff are evolved Evees, Jolteons, Flareons, etc. My best thing is a Snorlax, which came out of an egg with over 1000 XP.
  17. I just went back through everything I thought was Elim-esque about you, and wrote a long drawn out argument to the effect that you were evil, before deciding that most of my suspicions were baseless. Well, I guess we don't need to lynch Frozen. All I have left is the gut feeling and a few too well placed coincidences, which involve defending certain players and attacking others, who I thought were evil and good respectively. Nothing I can be sure of, except that lynching you would answer a lot of my questions, and I did not feel it was definitely necessary to keep you alive. I would love to go into further detail, but I don't really have a lot of time. PM me, and I will try to answer your questions.
  18. Well, let me be the first to welcome you to the Shard! I was also a lurker for a while before I joined, but three years has even me beat. Yeah... I know literally two people, but I guess it's just where I live. I always ask people, but I have not found anyone. It is awesome. I have always loved debating magic systems from a scientific standpoint, which makes no sense, but is incredibly fun. I hope you enjoy the Forum! It is a very fun place, and I have enjoyed it very much. Also, have a cookie!
  19. I have to agree with Doc, and I just don't think we should trust this riddle at all. If anything, it makes me more suspicious of Mark and Frozen, with one of them definitely being an Elim. I really want to lynch Frozen, but we should probably divide our efforts between those who the riddle incriminates, and those who we decide are suspicious. I think Doc should be scanned, and Frozen/Mark should be lynched, if only because an Elim riddle 'clears' them. I think it's entirely possible that all five are Elims, and this riddle was meant to mess us up. Luckstar turned out to not be so fortunate, I guess. Huh. It's weird to see my gut read on Ecth, which I had attempted to logically disprove to myself, was accurate. I'm so confused. I think I really want to lynch Frozen, and then if they are an Elim, I want to lynch Meta or Lopen. I don't know... They bandwagoned on an Elim, and that just seems wrong. The Riddle + some evidence makes Doc seem really suspicious. I just have had a bad feeling about Frozen. But I've been wrong before. Someone with a Rabbit should kill one of our top suspects, and I think everyone should discuss that tonight.
  20. I've heard some rumors that this bit of ruin might have something to do with the Sovereign, but that seems a little odd to me. I think it's more likely that Sazed just invested it in the planet somewhere, like maybe the roughs. Minor SH, BoM spoilers.
  21. Vaguely... I actually don't remember why I put it there. I think it's because a few people do seem to be tunneling on you, and I think it seems like a desperate Elim sort of thing, even from Meta, who I did not fully trust to begin with. I really hope Ecth is an Elim, and that I'm not wasting time and energy fighting Meta.
  22. I think the biggest reason I have for voting for Ecth is that a lot of the people who I think are Elims are against it. With the Exception of Frozen, and possibly Mark, although Mark seems mostly just to not want to be lynched by Meta. I am not super worried about what is going to happen, as I am reasonably sure it won't bother the village too much. Ecth, have you entered the lottery since you got the breath needed to survive?
  23. Can we get someone to do that? I'd do it myself, but I don't have a rope yet. I forgot to enter the lottery last cycle.
  24. I loved Agent Carter, thought it was really well done. They just must have failed with advertising or producing or something, because it never went anywhere at all. The second season was, Imo, even better than the first, but it had so few people watching it. And now the show has been cancled or something. I'm mostly talking statistics. I haven't actually watched Jessica Jones, and neither has anyone I know, so I really know almost nothing about it. I'm looking forwards to Luke Cage coming out, because l like that character in the comics, and just in general. I hope they do it justice. I really like agents of shield, partially for the characters, but mostly because it tends to keep me guessing. It gets more boring for me when I can see where it's going, but I like that l can watch it progress and try to guess at the master plan behind everything. l enjoy that sort of thing.
  25. I've heard that the DCTU is better than the MTU, but I just haven't gotten around to watching any of it. Where would you suggest starting? And yes. Right now, DCU just plain stinks. It might be just comparison, but I don't like anything they have done recently. Daredevil is probably the most popular MTU thing, in my opinion. It is also one of the most well done, however much I like AoS. And the pass of thing kept tensions high, and was pretty effective, but I just hate self-fulfilling prophecies. So that sort of ruined it for me.
