  1. Also, for everyone who thinks PMs are unlimited and free for all, please read the rules about it, they aren't. I already had to address this in the first day, but again people aren't listening.
  2. "At the beginning the world was a waste of water called Nu. and it was the abode of the Great Father. He was Nu, for he was the deep, and he gave being unto the sun god who hath said: "Lo! I am Khepera at dawn, Ra at high noon, and Tum at eventide". The god of brightness first appeared as a shining egg which floated upon the water's breast, and the spirits of the deep, who were the Fathers and the Mothers, were with him there, as he was with Nu, for they were the companions of Nu." Rule #1 was voted in! The conversion rule has been removed! The rules proposed for tonight are: #1: In addition to being able to vote for a rule players, also get a single vote against a proposed rule each cycle. This counts as -1 to its total votes. If a given rule has 0 or fewer votes, it won't be passed, even if it is technically in the top three proposals by merit of being the only rule etc. #2: At the end of the cycle that this rule takes effect, all items in the game are to be distributed among the living WorldSmiths at random. #3: The game ends when someone obtains their primary win-condition. If multiple players achieve their primary win-condition in the same turn, they will all win. Anyone who has achieved their secondary win condition but not their primary win condition will not win the game. #4: When this rule comes into effect, 1 factionless gains the role of Odium. Odium gains a kill action during the night, and their goal is to be the last person alive in the game. No faction may win until Odium is removed from the game. #5: Everybody gets a bunny, either male or female. Bunnies eat an item (Every thing besides spheres) each cycle. if you end up with a male and female bunny, ONE bunny is produced each cycle. Nobody was lynched! 3. you talked about old gods in your sign up post and it's a joke about the cthulu mythos also, to the thread as a whole I screwed up the rule proposal for this reason, I'm not going to be counting any votes except the ones after this post, now that you've had a chance to reread the actual proposal so if you've already voted could you please vote again
  4. “Then Bur's sons lifted the level land, Mithgarth the mighty there they made; The sun from the south warmed the stones of earth, And green was the ground with growing leeks. The sun, the sister of the moon, from the south Her right hand cast over heaven's rim; No knowledge she had where her home should be, The moon knew not what might was his, The stars knew not where their stations were.” Völupsá, stanzas 4 and 5 The three rules that were voted into place were: #2: If a player’s RP in a turn is 250 words or more, they gain a pancake. #4: When this rule comes into effect, 3 factionless are automatically converted to the brotherhood of peace (these 3 can't have a kill-role and lose any items they had that allow for killing). The goal of the Brotherhood is to guarantee peace in the universe. To do this, all kill-roles and items need to be removed from the game. Each cycle, one of the members of the brotherhood can proclaim his peaceful ways to someone else. This has one of several effects, depending on the target chosen. If the target has an item that allows for a kill, that item is removed. If the target has more than one such items, all are removed. If the target has a role or faction ability that allows for performing a kill, that players is instead role-blocked for a cycle(if the player has both items and roles, he only loses the items, and is not role-blocked). If the target is faction-less and did not have a role/item that allowed for performing a kill, he is converted to the brotherhood of peace. The Elementalist role does not count as a kill role, though it can be used as such. An Elementalist converted to the brotherhood can not sue his element to kill. A person can only be targeted once by the brotherhood in the course of the game. The brotherhood has a temple dedicated to peace, in which they can meditate on their peaceful ways (in other words, they have a faction doc). #6: If, during a day turn, a player’s RP contains a coherent ketek in bold, they gain a free action to use the following night. There was only one rule submission. #1 - Repeal the rules stating that kill actions have a 50% chance to convert players. 5. "In truth at first Chaos came to be, but next wide-bosomed Earth, the ever-sure foundation of all the deathless ones who hold the peaks of snowy Olympus, and dim Tartarus in the depth of the wide-pathed Earth, and Eros, fairest among the deathless gods, who unnerves the limbs and overcomes the mind and wise counsels of all gods and all men within them. From Chaos came forth Erebus and black Night; but of Night were born Aether and Day, whom she conceived and bore from union in love with Erebus. And Earth first bore starry Heaven, equal to herself, to cover her on every side, and to be an ever-sure abiding-place for the blessed gods. And she brought forth long hills, graceful haunts of the goddess Nymphs who dwell amongst the glens of the hills. She bore also the fruitless deep with his raging swell, Pontus, without sweet union of love. But afterwards she lay with Heaven and bore deep-swirling Oceanus, Coeus and Crius and Hyperion and Iapetus, Theia and Rhea, Themis and Mnemosyne and gold-crowned Phoebe and lovely Tethys. After them was born Cronos the wily, youngest and most terrible of her children, and he hated his lusty sire.” Hesiod’s Theogony, lines 115-138 ----- Searanatha theranson threson the 45th and a half has died! For each turn the player holds the planet, they gain one pancake. At any time they may choose to target another planet, throwing their planet at the target. This destroys both planets and kills the holder of the target planet. #2: If a player’s RP in a turn is 250 words or more, they gain a pancake. #3: If the player with the most votes receives twice as many red votes as the next candidate, they will lose two lives to the lynch instead of just one.#4 The Brotherhood of Peace #5: Dragon Faction #6: If, during a day turn, a player’s RP contains a coherent ketek in bold, they gain a free action to use the following night. #7: Family members are exempt from kill win conditions and family members may thusly win as a group. Vote on your favourite one! The three with the most votes will be introduced next turn! ----- The Rules, as of Night 1 Factions Roles General Abilities Passive Rules The Lynch Set-up Also, please re-read the rules as there are two more in play as of tonight: The Secret-Keeper and Vendettas. 10. "In those days, in the days when heaven and earth were created; in those nights, in the nights when heaven and earth were created; in those years, in the years when the fates were determined; when the Anuna gods were born; when the goddesses were taken in marriage; when the goddesses were distributed in heaven and earth; when the goddesses …… became pregnant and gave birth; when the gods were obliged (?) …… their food …… dining halls; the senior gods oversaw the work, while the minor gods were bearing the toil. The gods were digging the canals and piling up the silt in Ḫarali. The gods, crushing the clay, began complaining about this life." Enki and Ninmaḫ 1-11 Creation is... a confusing thing. It is chaotic, but yet at the same time ordered. Parts merge and fall apart, conflict and complement and in the end, the result is both magnificent and horrifying. The Creators sat together and talked and discussed what they had made. Together, they decided that it was good. And then piece by piece it slowly fell apart. The Creators were confused, for they did not, and truly could not, understand what was going on. But then it was revealed to them, that it was some of their own. The Agents of Chaos, once noble Creators, had turned against the order that the Creators sort to built, and they tore it asunder. One by one the Creators fell apart and fell into conflict, until all that remained were the Agents, in a show of intense irony, one of the few examples of order left, and the WorldSmiths, who had taken it upon themselves to gather together the remnants of what had been and to make it good again. But even they could not stop the fighting and as the Creators turned against each other, it became less and less clear who would come out the victor... The game has now begun. You have 48 hours of the day left, have fun!
