  1. "Sort of," KoTiel replied. "The main thing in this case is that we Kandra can store memories in specific, secured parts of our body. My old mentor has done a lot of research in this field, and figured out a way for other Kandra to read the memories if they were prepared in the right way. If I use a blank slate, instead of an existing Kandra, this should allow for a complete transfer of consciousness without keeping the spiritweb."
  2. KoTiel thought for a bit. "Even if we can't remove the bomb, I think I do have another solution," they said. "It's actually similar to something you once did, but meant for Kandra."
  3. "Alright," KoTiel nodded. "Basically, they sedated me, and then used this scythe like weapon. According to Mraize, it is supposed to implant a bomb capable of destroying my spiritweb when he wants to." They paused. "I did make sure my flesh didn't actually touch it, but I'm not sure if it actually worked. I'll have to do some research in the labs to find out, and perhaps also see how to replicate it." Another pause. "He actually wanted me to tell others about it, maybe to make people afraid of him?"
  4. KoTiel turned to Mac. "Is it safe to talk here?" They asked.
  5. KoTiel arrived on the main island. Thinking about what had happened in the experiment, they started looking around for other DA members.
  6. KoTiel sighed. It seemed the fight wasn't going to happen in the end. Jumping down from the roof they walked into a nearby alley, when a denizen suddenly walked up to them, handing them a note. KoTiel read the note and muttered: "An experiment? This sounds interesting, a lot more interesting than this war. I guess I'll see if the war is still going on when this is finished." Walking through the alleys, they went to the location indicated in the note.
  7. KoTiel stared at the remains of the Fiend. They wanted to go and have a better look, see how it worked, but given the bombs it had, that might not be the best idea, not while the owner was still alive. Sighing, they turned around and walked back to the city to see Hellbent's fight. Even if it wouldn't be as interesting as the Fiend, they might still learn something from it. Tapping into the Alleystorm, they ran power through their bones and ran back. Jumping onto the roofs, they quickly ran towards where Hellbent was, and then sat down on one of the roofs to enjoy the show.
  8. "I see." KoTiel answered, thoughtfully. "If the barrier holds it, drop it just before the storm fades away. We can use your Elantrians to get up it, and use the investure from the storm to get a boost in the early part of the fight."
  9. KoTiel walked out of the alley and blinked at the barrier. "How?" They wondered, surprised by the scale. Looking around, they started tapping zinc, trying to figure it out. "Ah, the alleystorm. Yes, that would help with supplying the investure. And this that nicrosil? I see. Yes, this could be useful. They're using aons, but with Dakhor..." Murmuring, they walked up to Althea. "Hey, sorry I'm late, I had some trouble finding a nearby alley."
  10. "The southern gate," KoTiel said, nodding. "Alright, follow me." After saying that, they quickly walked back into the alley.
  11. Surprised KoTiel considered the question. "I'm not sure, I guess my name works? I think calling me Kandra goes against the whole disguise thing my people have going on. Actually, I'm still wondering how he knew that." With that, KoTiel walked out of the alley. "Here we are, the merchants quarter. I'll be waiting here for you."
  12. "..." KoTiel thought for a bit. "Well, I guess I also can't tell you how alley travel works either, so that's alright." They told Althea. "The merchants quarter you say? Alright. Follow me, and make sure you stick to me closely. You don't want to be alone in the alleys when not a denizen, here so close to the worldspike." With that, KoTiel walked into the nearest alley.
  13. Seeing Althea vanish, KoTiel activated the device as well, and teleported to the central market square. "Well, that felt horrible," they said, after the world stopped spinning. "Were do we need to go now?"
  14. "Central marketplace?" KoTiel answered. "I think there are more alleys around that place. It'll make an easier starting point."
  15. KoTiel blinked at the sudden light, and looked at the aftermath of the explosion. "Take you back to the Alleycity," they said. "Sure, but there is the small issue that the explosion destroyed the alleys I could use to get away from this place. Should we use these devices instead?" They asked Althea.
  16. "If there are any alleys there, I can get us there. Otherwise, I can also use Dakhor, but for that Id need a sacrifice." KoTiel told Althea.
  17. "Not in the Ghostbloods."KoTiel said. "True enough. I guess I never really liked them, though I think it was mostly because of Razhien, their old leader." Suddenly, they heard Hellbent's announcement. "I see. I wonder if he thinks he's going to die," they said thoughtfully, then paused. "Hey," they suddenly said. "Are you people planning on following Dwig if Hellbent dies?" @Sorana, @I think I am here..
  18. KoTiel looked at the shield. "I don't think that shield will last long," they said in a nervous tone. "Perhaps it would be good if you got us out of here?" They asked Althea.
  19. "..." KoTiel was silent. "Thanks, I didn't expect that," they said. "Who are you?"
