D&D alignments as best typified by cosmere characters
Bryce Carmony replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Ohhh good one. Brandon dOesn't do a lot of CE because I think it's Kind of boring "I'm eVil for the sake of being eVil" -
I think of night blood as a black hole. It doesn't destroy energy but it's pretty gonezo (or is it) I think black holes are insanely interesting

D&D alignments as best typified by cosmere characters
Bryce Carmony replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Based on his discussion with dalinar and his willingness to destroy an entire world to accomplish his aims I'm going to say that's pretty neutral. To me he seems like the Revolver Ocelot of the cosmere. -
Ah connection. I read BoM in 2 days I need to re-read it #_#. Even if it's not useful what do you think it would do? Hemalurgy steals identity so is there a perk to stealing more?
-
Mercury should store solIdity. So you could become liquidy when you burn it or store it. And abundant solidity would make you as hard as a rock like the takooni powers in super Mario world 3
-
So while I fill my metalmind what am I losing? Any advantage to having surplus identity? I get that the airship people of BoM used identity to get language but not really sure what other implications could be.

I'd like to see an aluminum gnat get their time in the spotlight. Maybe a compounder

Chaotic good = Vin Neutral Good = ? Lawful Good = Dalinar Chaotic Neutral = Kelsier Neutral Neutral = Hoid Lawful Neutral = Nalan Chaotic Evil = Zane Neutral Evil = Rashek Lawful Evil = Sadeas Likely I've labeled some of these in ways that are not optimal and a few I couldn't think of great examples. Any input on who the Paragons of alignment are? Would love to hear thoughts.

What's your choice: Feruchemy or Allomancy?
Bryce Carmony replied to Oathbringer's topic in Mistborn
Id go Feruchelmy since I can become an Allomancer with a bead not a Freuchemist -
I think Koloss is 5 because you spike 4 victims then the 5th goes in the person who becomes the koloss. So could a kandra have more than two or is two the limit?

But it exists somewhat in the physical realm. I think you could maybe make it happen. NightBlood Is connected to the spiritual realm but was made with magic- 10 replies

On earth we have the Japaneese Spider crab which, if you are unfamiliar with, you can see on Wikipedia is pretty much living nightmare fuel. Just think of living on Roshar where everything is pretty much a creepy shelly scarey pincery terror. Sure if I were born there'd I'd be alright (I have blue eyes so I'd be really alright as an alethi despite my paleness. ) but if I were to world hope over I think I'd hop back pretty quick.

What's the currency used on Hallandren?
Bryce Carmony replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Warbreaker
definitly agree, Sazed might need to toughen up a bit -
What's the currency used on Hallandren?
Bryce Carmony replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Warbreaker
in Shadows of Self Sazed implies that given scadrial has had electricity for so long they could very well have developed radio which they had not, likely because coinshot runners are relatively effective. -
What's the currency used on Hallandren?
Bryce Carmony replied to Bryce Carmony's topic in Warbreaker
Bank notes existed as early as the 7th century. And the existence of magic always seems to accelerate some areas of technology while oddly retarding others (no radio on scadria) so I don't think Banknotes would honestly have been out of the question especially if the notes themselves were made on something rare / difficult enough to make that they would be difficult to counterfeit. Maybe Silk or some kind of rare fabric. Warbreaker was a great book and asking for some whip cream on top of what was already a great sundae is silly but just thought since Spheres were so great at being integrated into the society on multiple levels.
