  1. turtle and Orchid were sitting around in a dark room, thinking about how to best keep the HI contained. Unfortunately, they eventually heard an ominous beeping coming from outside the room. When they got up to investigate, and opened the door, they just saw a small box with a countdown. Unfortunately, they did not realize that it was a bomb. Devotary of Spontaneity has died! They were a Loyal Feruchemist and Hemalurgist. eltruT has died! She was a Loyal Regular and Hemalurgist. GM Notes: -The day will end on November 2nd, at 5:00 PM EST. -The following player is receiving a warning for inactivity: @Mist. If she does not post this cycle, she will be replaced. -If you need a vote count, just @mention me and I'll give you one ASAP! -Remember that PMs are closed during the day. Player List:
  2. Yeah, some GMs show the name as having shifted, but I think most don't. I know that it's not shown for AGs.
  3. SE games can be set in any work by Sanderson. Skyward is definitely fine.
  4. That seems a lot better, but I think it'd probably be best to have either the alignment scan or the vote judge role, not both. Both roles can give a significant infodump to the village, so two is a bit much.
  5. @Abstrusity. Moving over here since your question is more related to game design and balancing. Having two alignment scanners is a bit much. They can clear too many of the players that way. If you have to have alignment scanners, just have one at most. Alignment scanners are also very swingy with so few people around. I think you're also underestimating how strong the automatic vote removal is with so few players around. With so few players, close votes are going to be inevitable. One question though: how are ties going to be decided? Overall, I'd recommend heavily cutting the roles and maybe giving the elims some kind of minor ability like a roleblock.
  6. Loyal players can indeed have roles.
  7. Reading was reading, as usual. After all, he was the ship's librarian, in charge of maintaining any books that might be on the ship, in addition to being a general source of knowledge. He didn't have any particular powers, not like any of those Mistborn or Awakeners. So, he was perfectly content to just keep the books in order. Eventually, a group of people entered his library. They were quite upset over some of the late book fees he'd been imposing lately, and had decided to kill him. Shard of Reading has died! He was a Loyal Regular. Vote Count: Shard of Reading (7): Araris Valerian, Devotary of Spontaneity, eltruT, Illwei, TJ Shade, Whysper eltruT (6): Amanuensis, Ashbringer, Condensation, Experience, Flyingbooks42, Lotus, The Windrunner Supreme TJ Shade (1): Shard of Reading GM Notes: -The night will end on October 31st (Halloween!), at 5:00 PM EST. -There was vote manipulation, not an error in the vote count. -Don't forget to get your actions in! -PMs are open! Remember to include me and Matrim. Player List:

  9. You can edit in analysis if it's in order to avoid double posting and you clearly mark it as an edit of your original post. See this bit from the general rules:
  10. Illwei was walking around the ship when he felt a sharp pain in his back. He thought it was nothing, so he just kept walking around doing his work on the ship. However, when he got back to his cabin that night, he noticed that there was a dagger stuck in his back. Illwei was attacked, but survived! Message #1: The taste of steel The constant pain The voice is always there. it can't be real I cry in vain swallowed by empty air. I longed to heal in blessed rain I never could prepare. The lives we steal armies to train This life was never fair. Blue was not the imposter ndizpjfbkxg GM Notes: -The day will end on October 30th, at 5:00 PM EST. -Orlok has been replaced by @Lotus! Please welcome her to the game! -If you need a vote count, just @mention me and I'll give you one ASAP! -Remember that PMs are closed during the day. Player List:
  11. Elandera was a normal mechanic on the ship. She didn't particularly care about any magic, so she just ignored it. If the ship worked, it worked. Except, one day, the ship wasn't working quite right. The captain was dead, and the Hemalurgic Intelligence was mutinous. Before long, everything had gotten even worse, and two more loyal mechanics were dead. Suffice to say, Elandera was quite surprised when a mob came for her. After all, she hadn't been involved in anything suspicious. Elandera has died! She was a Loyal Regular. Vote Count: Elandera (4): Amanuensis, Araris Valerian, Flyingbooks42, TJ Shade Condensation (2): Elandera, Shard of Reading eltruT (2): Elkanah, Whysper Shard of Reading (2): Devotary of Spontaneity, Illwei Illwei (1): Mist Mist (1): The Windrunner Supreme GM Notes: -The night will end on October 28th, at 5:00 PM EST. -Don't forget to get your actions in! -PMs are open! Remember to include me and Matrim. -Experience and Orlok still haven't shown up, so they're set to be replaced at the start of the next day. Player List:
  12. The Kandra can indeed scan the HI. Also, since I've noticed some people editing votes in: please ping me if you edit a vote in, since I might miss it otherwise.
  13. Elandera (2): Amanuensis, Araris Valerian eltruT (2): Ashbringer, Whysper Mist (2): Elkanah, The Windrunner Supreme Condensation (1): eltruT Illwei (1): Illwei TJ Shade (1): Shard of Reading If the HI is inactive then I'd try to find a pinch hitter. If I couldn't find a pinch hitter than I'm not entirely sure what I'd do. I'll think about it. BTW, you don't have to green out old votes if you're just switching to a new person.
  14. Clarification regarding that: that's specifically in the section regarding what happens when all of the Loyal Hemalurgists die.
  15. ALASTAIR was inspecting the Hemalurgic Intelligence when it felt it reach out. It wasn't supposed to be able to do that, but this system was rather strange. ALASTAIR decided to try integrating in response. After all, this might be the only opportunity it'd get. [ERROR: INTEGRATION FAILED] [WARNING: HOSTILE ACTION DETECTED] [WARNING: DEFENSE MECHANISMS OFFLINE] [WARNING: SYSTEM CONTROL LOST] Gears has died! He was a Loyal Regular. 16. It varies by GM. I personally do it alphabetically since that's the easiest to generate with a spreadsheet.
  17. Lafay had been walking around the ship, doing his normal duties when a large argument erupted. Somehow, someone had found out about his spike and was telling everyone about it. While he almost convinced the mob to kill someone else, they managed to shove him out into space first. Ventyl has died! He was a Loyal Regular. Vote Count: Elkanah (4): Amanuensis, Araris Valerian, Ventyl, Whysper Ventyl (4): Devotary of Spontaneity, eltruT, Illwei, TJ Shade Experience (1): The Windrunner Supreme GM Notes: -The night will end on October 25th, at 5:00 PM EST. -There was a tie.
