  1. Alright, this new format hurts my eyes a little bit so I didn't read through all these pages that I missed. Any updates relevant to me? And yes I am working on another character so I'm not just sitting around between ThunderSpear posts. EDIT: Is there a way to go back to the old format? ((Sorry if this is a double post...based on what just happened when I went to post this, I don't think the first time actual got posted))

  3. That's essentially how the weakness for my character (ThunderSpear) works. Being near the trigger dampens his powers and resistances, and actual contact cancels them.
  4. *Charred ashes fall to the ground* *A heavenly voice calls out the ancient and godly word: Roasted...*
  5. What do you mean? Should I copy the pictures as well? Or are the codes not working?
  6. Finally made a pony for ThunderSpear. Create Code: Accessory Code: Pose Code: Second option: Create: Pose: Any opinions? And let me know if the codes don't work.
  7. Alright. I guess that makes sense ^o^ I'll probably just lurk for a bit then, maybe work on some other profiles (I've got a few ideas in the works). Just shoot me a PM or a message here when I can toss ThunderSpear and Nijo back in EDIT: Alright. That sounds fine.
  8. Alright. ThunderSpear and Nijo post up. As soon as you're ready Coma we can move ahead to Rainmaker meeting with ThunderSpear. Also, Blaze, I just had an idea. You were talking about how Buttercup wouldn't be happy with Rainmaker sending ThunderSpear after Iconoclast. Well, how about she has Nijo tail him? It'd be a great way for me to introduce his ninja-y side, and it would mean she wasn't being completely passive about it.
  9. [insert Epic Lighting Spear Picture Here] ThunderSpear raised an eyebrow in confusion. I mean, I get not wanting a big house might be worth a chuckle, but this? What did I say? he thought to himself. Maybe I should remember that for future use. He rolled his eyes as she barely took control of herself, still giggling. "That seems...reasonable. OSU? On my way," ThunderSpear replied, starting to turn away. "Other direction," the epic leader behind him called out. A short time later So this is OSU, ThunderSpear thought to himself, gazing at the campus. Not shabby. A few minutes walking left him at the entrance, where a group of guards halted him. "Halt!" called out the first guard, a sneer on his lips. "I don't believe I've seen you here before. New to town?" he asked. "You could say that," ThunderSpear replied, meeting the uppity guard's eyes. "I was told to announce myself at the gates. My name," he said with a spin of his spear. "Is ThunderSpear." The first guard paled, taking a couple steps back. A second walked up, swallowing nervously. "Welcome, ThunderThpear. Queen Rainmaker informed uth of your approach, and of your...requethtth regarding lodging. Would you like for me to thend for a guide to your room? Or just directhionth?" he said with a slight lisp. ThunderSpear looked around. "A guide would do fine. Did Rai--...did Queen Rainmaker leave anything else for me?" I suppose I'll have to get used to that, at least around her minions, he realized. "Aye, thir. Thhe did," the second guard replied after sending another for a guide. "Would you like it now?" "Might as well. What is your name?" ThunderSpear replied, looking over the rest of the guards. "Uh..." the second guard said. "M-my n-name? P-perthton. Perthton Hok." He looked around wildly, and grabbed the neatly folded sheet from the nearby guard holding it, thrusting it into ThunderSpear's hand. "Here." ThunderSpear took the sheet, unfolding it and giving it a quick once-over. Huh. I don't think I recognize any of these...ah-hah! Perfect. He'll be first, then. ThunderSpear grinned, remembering one certain epic. I guess I shouldn't be surprised he wound up here. A man in a form-fitting black outfit ran up. "I heard you sent for a guide?" [insert Epic Ninja-Esque Picture Here] A few minutes before Music blasting... Door creaks... "Who is it?" Nijo called out, pausing his music. "P-perston Hok sent for you. Apparently you're to guide an epic to his dorm," the guard replied nervously, glancing around the room warily. With a sigh, Nijo took his earbuds out, and flipped himself out of bed. "Must be a pretty weak epic, if all he gets is a dorm. Which wing?" "No idea. Didn't look weak though. I believe the requirement was, and I quote, 'a room with storage space and a bed.'" "'Storage space and a bed,' huh? I know just the place. After you," Nijo said, gesturing out of the room. Back at the entrance Nijo ran up, looking over the new arrival. Spear...probably some form of invulnerability, based on his bearing. "I heard you sent for a guide," Nijo called out. "Ready to go?" After pausing for a moment, the epic replied "Might as well. Where're we going?" "There's a place in the west wing I think should fit your criteria perfectly," Nijo said, grinning. "Very well. Lead on." As they walked, Nijo stole glances over at the epic. "So, what's your name?" he asked. "ThunderSpear. You?" Nijo almost stumbled. It was rare that an epic he greeted wanted to know his name. "Nijo. How long have you been here for?" "Less than a day. Of course, I've already managed to almost kill another weak epic who thought he was better than me, in addition to a little heart-to-heart with Rainmaker," the epic he now knew as ThunderSpear replied, seeming quite talkative for an epic. "Wow. Pretty busy for a first day. And I'm pretty impressed you came out of that meeting with Rainmaker unscathed." "She's really quite clever, and a de--" ThunderSpear cut off, realizing that he didn't know how much was safe to talk about with Rainmaker's vanillas. He narrowed his gaze at Nijo. "Why do you want to know?" Nijo flinched, leaning back slightly. "I guess I'm just curious about what's going on." They walked in silence for a few minutes. "And here we are," Nijo finished, and with a grand flourish and bow, opened the door. ThunderSpear looked around inside. After a moment, he replied, "This should do. Now scoot." "Yessir!" Nijo said, starting to salute before he realized he didn't know this epic's ranking. And then he scooted.
  10. Ok. Alright, that should be enough for a description for him finding it. Re: Edit. What about electrocution? Alright. Should I hold up on something in the morning then? I could finish ThunderSpear at the University, wait a couple days (real time), have him talking with Rainmaker, then in another couple days at Slaughterine's, then once everyone agrees on morning, I can have him restart his search. That is something good to keep in mind. I'd probably have one person near Slaughterine's, then at most one or two other people along the way. I'd probably just mention them, not have the full dialogue. Ok. I could probably do that (I've been doing it for ThunderSpear this whole time bwahahahha!11!!!1) XD That would be fun to watch. Next ThunderSpear post should be up within half an hour EDIT: Also, for Nijo, I'm going to try a different style of writing, to emphasize his fast processing power. Let me know what you think?
  11. Yay! Good to know. I'll probably have him check out one or two then go to Slaughterine's house. Alright. Maybe someone who lived next door who had only recently gotten back from some duty? Sounds good. Could you give me a brief description of the exterior of their hideout? And what time is it now? For ThunderSpear, probably mid-afternoon, I don't know where everyone else is. He'd probably search around a bit this afternoon, then continue to trace them in the morning after a good rest. Finally, @Comatose, what do you think of a Nijo flashback to him joining up with Buttercup's security? What would I put in that? Also @Blaze1616, I think you have Buttercup. Any feedback for that?
  12. Thank you so much! Making characters has always been fun for me, and with the RP forums I've found over the past few months, I've really been able to learn many new tricks for writing.
  13. Alright. @Blackhoof, any ideas for that sort of action? I could put in scenes of ThunderSpear sleuthing around, but I would need to know what he would find. Re: Nijo. I suppose he could use firearms. Most likely a silenced pistol, if that would work, or I guess he could take either point on raids or sniper cover. Part of why I would love to put him in here is if I do, he would be ThunderSpear's guide (as stated, will be in his next post as soon as I'm back on my laptop, where I have it saved), they would talk a bit, and after Rainmaker suggests finding Iconoclast, he would accidentally let it slip in a conversation with Nijo. I really should have put more into his bio. When he isn't on missions/roaming, he crashes in his hideout (or dorm, if he's in Corvallis Po-Po) with his iPod/preferred music player. I guess you could also call him the David of Karate/MA, which extends way beyond just the TOTALLY EPIC art of Ninjutsu. I don't know a lot about the structure of the Corvallis security force, so I don't know what he'd be doing there. Who has Buttercup? This feels weird, and I know that you guys usually have a slower time-table, but I just hate leaving a conversation unfinished for more than a day or two. Don't feel like I'm rushing you with Nijo. But yeah, what do other people think of him?
  14. @Comatose: Also, I was wondering if I could possibly introduce Nijo (a vanilla I created a little bit ago, bio is here) into Corvallis. I could have him be ThunderSpear's guide (will make sense once the post is up) and then a flashback to him joining Rainmaker. He would probably be part of whatever peacekeeping force Rainmaker has set up (if any, I'm not sure how long it has been game time) since Euphoria disappeared. What do you think? Next ThunderSpear post is on hold for a bit so I can figure out what to do for that. If it wouldn't work, I can just make an NPC vanilla for that role, and find somewhere for Nijo later.
  15. Alright. That should be pretty simple. Good to know. He probably won't want to go through the trouble involved in annoying Rainmaker again, so he probably wouldn't explode stuff, but that's good to know for stealing. That...could be really fun. I'd need to know a lot more about what happened for that (such as who controls Iconoclast). I've read the first page or two of Corvallis, and I've kept up with the last few, but I don't really know much about the meat of the story. He would definitely bite.
  16. @Comatose, should I just come up with some stuff to happen at OSU, or did you have something specific in mind?
  17. I have two words. You & AreReallyPhreakingAwesomeThisIsSoCool! (that was totally two words) (LONG LIVE DRADKMPAREK)
  18. Yeah XD...I come from a couple forums where while we usually have shorter posts, we're lancing them back and forth, usually 7-8 per day when we get enough people. I've been taking a bit of a break from those, but the habit still stands ^o^ Thanks!
  19. Yay! It was really, really random. Not sure where he (she?) would actually go, haven't done much beyond that general idea. @Everyone: Feel free to steal that idea. Not sure when I'll get around to fleshing it out.
  20. [insert Epic Lightning Spear Picture Here] ThunderSpear relaxed as the epic appeared to calm further--unless she gets dimmer as she gets angrier...I really hope not, he thought to himself. Though that would be quite ironic. As he listened, ThunderSpear toyed with the idea of just flat-out rejecting her. Slaves? Suitable residence? Bleh! He'd much rather just have a safe storage place. "I think that, for the most part, that is a wonderful deal," he replied, grinning. "You can cut the part about the slaves and the house though--a safe storage location with room for a bed should do just fine. However," he continued, turning a bit more serious. "There is nothing forcing me to stay here, correct? In addition, what would happen if I get caught? It's not as though I try to hide." He added, thoughtfully, "As I said, this could be very interesting. I can't guarantee that it is something that will last in the long run, however, as I in general prefer a more nomadic lifestyle. But I suppose it probably wouldn't--or more accurately, couldn't--hurt us try to it out," he finished with a wink, sticking his hand back out.
  21. ThunderSpear up again. As usual, feedback is appreciated. And someone check that spell-checker...I swear that underappreciated and relaxingly are real words. Neither of which the checker is Also, anyone see my idea for a GunSmith epic?
  22. [insert Epic Lightning Spear Picture Here] (Relaxingly is a word! This thing's spell-checker lies!) ThunderSpear took a few steps back as the glare increased, then released the breath he hadn't realized he was holding when the light dimmed. Maybe I should play a bit more nice, he thought to himself. She seems really pissed. Though that dull remark stings a little bit. he thought with a small wince. "No, you don't look like an immigration official. And I apologize for being rude," he said relaxingly, flashing her a smooth smile. "What will reparations entail? I can agree to taking care of that, within reason. As for commands...I can't promise to obey every order. But as long as it doesn't go against my aims, I'll stick with it. Full profiling, sure. I'm already pretty well known throughout the area." ThunderSpear looked up, meeting her eye to eye. "This seems like a nice town, with a lot of nice stuff. I'm a collector--but I can keep it within reason. I've literally got the power, but I can see that you've got enough for a stable empire--and stability is key for someone of my habits. What do you say we make a deal? I stay and follow the rules, assuming they continue to suit me, and you give me a bit of breathing space to explore, possibly relieve a few vanillas of under-appreciated baubles. Deal?" he proposes, holding out one hand.
  23. Looks pretty interesting. I was reading back over Cannon Fodder's entrance into Corvallis, and I had this really awesome idea for another epic: Gunsmith. His primary power is taking a gun and morphing it into any other realistic gun. (i.e, from pistol to AR but not from pistol to poison-cloud-emitting sniper [though that would we really, as in, really, cool]) This can also be used to restore his clips to full ammo. Still working on fleshing out the idea. Any feedback?
