Depending on how good ep. 8 is I will be pretty excited for this. With Rian's track record on movies I'm cautiously optimistic. Should be good to finally get to tell some new stories in the bigger Galaxy/universe.

Well thought out, however I can see one issue already and that is that the Highstorms were in existence before the shards came to Roshar. If you can accommodate for that point you may be on to something.
