Do not rely on it, though. It's useful at times but it's not something you should rely on. I think it's another case of "why does nobody react to Voidbringers" from Edgedancer. When asked about that, Brandon said he was saving that stuff for Oathbringer... it could be the same here. Not that I agree this is a good way to resolve this (it's jarring for me, to be honest) but that's probably what it is.

Actually, that kind of question would set off many triggers. At least for me - I mean "this person here just assumed I would give them my notes just like that! What in Damnation?". I'm not saying technique is wrong or bad, but much more subtlety is needed.

Probably the whole thing with atium not being one of sixteen metals at all.
