  1. The Temptations of the False Gods Some people will tell you that there are other mods, even past players, who can bless those playing today. They will tell you that they can feel the presences of those players watching over their shoulders, guiding them in this war against the spambots. They will tell you that they have been promised sweet rewards for their service. Lies! Only Orlok Tsubodai, Lord Tekiel, He-who-is-always-right, the King of the Mind, can grant you what you truly seek. Wilson, the Black Foe, may feed you the alignments of your enemies if you pray to her. Alvron, the Shadowlord, may manipulate the lynch RNG in your favor. Mailliw, the Flippant Turncoat, may let you carry out extraordinary gambits with a convoluted series of actions. Fifth Scholar, the New Usurper, may promise you a place in his new hierarchy. Yet all of these things make you reliant on divine intervention granted at the whims of higher powers. Only Orlok will give you the power to be truly independent. He will hone your mind to become a deadly trap. What use will you have in following Wilson's reads when you can make your own accurate conclusions? What use will you have in hamfistedly manipulating the lynch when you can persuade the voters to follow your lead? What use will you have for role-based gambits when you can consistently catch eliminators by their words alone? What use will you have in Fifth's hierarchy when you have a place in a much more powerful one? Only Orlok's blessings of mental acuity can give you the consistent results you desire. Anything else is but a sickly sweet temptation that ultimately leaves you at the mercy of your role in these false gods' organizations. If you have any arguments about how abilities granted by other mods or players can even attempt to outstrip those granted by Lord Tekiel, please PM me. I sense that Alvron's fingers are already growing twitchy with the urge to abuse his power and delete this as spam.
  2. I agree that Guest's vote does not feel village, which is why I have placed my vote on them. No doubt part of this is due to the fact that Guest's vote was on me, but something about their lack of reasoning feels like it was done more for appearances rather than as a substantiative vote. Keeping in mind the role shenanigans within this game, I would instead suggest that if by N1 Roadwalker hasn't given a proper account for themselves, then a kill role, if one exists, should take him out.
  3. You have not seen any such analysis yet because it is D1 and I have not found anything that particularly stuck out. There is simly not enough material to analyze. I attempted to pressure Elandera to gain a read on her, and after a lengthy PM conversation, I have determined that she is likely village. Or, I assumed I had nothing that particularly stuck out until I saw this post. Guest. Explain to me how this is not a bandwagon vote.
  4. Have you heard the good news? Orlok loves you, and he wants you to love and know him. He offers you his peace and joy under his rule as benevolent dictator. Those who recognize his rule shall receive his blessings, as indeed I have. If Orlok offers so much, why don't people take it? The Problem with Disbelievers Everybody is born with a tendency towards freedom. They seek to reject Orlok in fears that serving him will reduce the freedom they cherish so much in life. What they don't realize is that nobody is free, not as long as they remain slave to the meat-impulses left in their brain that are the leftovers of thousands of years of the evolutionary process. It affects all aspects of life, a constant temptation and scourge. Orlok Tsubodi has transcended these urges, and can teach you to overcome them too. Embrace him as a leader, recognize that his decision-making process is free of these taints, and you too shall be freed from those base emotions that control you. Accept him as supreme leader and you too shall know freedom. PM me today if you wish to learn more about receiving the blessings of a mod.
  5. As a Saint of Britain, you have a spot reserved for you within the Church. Once you recognize Lord Tekiel as supreme world dictator, you will be afforded your due position and recognition. Interesting. Why do you think Elandera is innocent?
  6. Do not fear, Adavantos. Lord Tekiel would never let a mere Shard influence your actions. You will be safe from Ruin, provided you learn these mind-calming techniques pioneered by the Church of Enlightenment... Moving on to this contest of credentials that we currently have, I will nominate myself for village leader. As the protégé of Orlok Tsubodi (may he rule forever in glory) I have more than enough analysis to find the spambots among us, assuming you peons do not get in my way. Vote as I do and all shall be made clear.
  7. Greetings, Ada. Many things have changed since you left, but fear not, I am here with instructions to help. All you need to do is sign this form here saying that you consent to this tutorial on how to play Sanderson Elimination, and ignore the part saying that you pledge eternal servitude to the Church of Enlightenment... Also, please accept a complimentary cookie. A gift from my Lord.
  8. It was only the Parshendi once the Unmade got released. Before that, the Parshendi were all good.
  9. I killed you for mentioning that you were looking for the Black Sphere. It wasn't in my win cons, but I decided that I should be proactive with my actions and book knowledge. I thought killing all the sphere-seekers might shift events away from canon, namely Gavilar showing Eshonai the Black Sphere. @Orlok Tsubodai, @Elbereth, @little wilson, I heard how much you struggled with rollover. Thank you for running this game. I had a lot of fun with it, even if I did have to make some tweaks to Szeth's personality. Sadly, this will be my last game for a while, at least until January. College apps are coming up and I need to focus on them. (You can take this as soft confirmation that I won't be in any anon games until January. Probably. All the paranoia in the dead doc trying to figure out if a player was me was fun to watch.)
  10. I'd like to join, but I'm going to be busy soon. Add me as a spectator, please.
  11. If being broken enough to have a Nahel Bond functions similarly to Snapping in Mistborn, then negative emotional states of mind aren't necessary at all. According to the epigraphs in HoA, Vin Snapped when she was born, but she clearly isn't traumatized by her birth itself.
  12. Keep reading and you may spot a few more things...
  13. Another part of it is that Sanderson tends to write cleaner things, which maps more closely to what Mormons tend to read.
  14. Same here, so I'll also take a link to the spec doc.
  15. Yeah, of course. You still win if your faction does, regardless of if you die or not.
