  1. I thought it was a flaw with your plan, and I wanted to see how people would respond. Also, for the murders out there: iit might not be a good idea to kill an inactive. The eliminator team this game is only two people at a time, and it's unlikely that Ryuk will be inactive, since it is the big eliminator role. Even if Ryuk is inactive, chances are that you'll take out a lot of innocent people before hitting Ryuk.
  2. If Joe was L/a police officer, he probably wouldn't offer himself up for the murderer kill. If you're L/a police officer, don't offer yourself up for the murderers either. We need you. If you're a murderer, I suggest not wantonly killing people, because you don't want to become Ryuk's honorary second kill.
  3. No, but my mom is going to buy some.
  4. I wish that my grandma would stop vomiting out emotional abuse at my mom. She's not even in the room, but I am, and it's loud. I'd move, but I'm doing something with my laptop and don't want to move. Not many places for me to move, anyways. So I suppose I'll just keep up a loud inner monologue to drown it out. Harmony, it's annoying.
  5. "It would be better to blow up Kira address with him in it," Rikku said. "If anyone deserves death, it's him." I'll likely be busy Thursday and Friday, so I might not post as much around that time. Assuming I'm still alive, of course.
  6. Rikku frowned. That didn't make any sense. "If M was Kira, wouldn't you be dead by now?" Rikku asked. "Kira wouldn't bother with me, because I'm just a shoplifter, but you and Hal and Sumiko would have dropped dead already." She glanced up at the red umbrella over her head, just to make sure it was blocking her face from the sky. It was. "Anyways, weren't we going to write stuff on paper and burn it?"
  7. Rikku stood under an old, blood red umbrella that probably belonged to Hal. Her hair was tucked under a grey cap, and she wore a shapeless, oversized coat that fell to her knees, with plenty of padding underneath to change her body structure. Underneath the coat, she wore rainboots that added a few centimeters to her height. Rikku looked around. ****, was she late? The others were already here. "Thank you all for coming today, even those of you whom I didn't invite," Joseph said. "I don't know how you knew to arrive here, and I'll want to know that eventually, but for now, I'll assume that you're here because we have two common enemies. Kira and M. Both of them threaten us, so both of them must be removed. But I don't know how to do it. I simply know that we, as a group, can. We're all skilled individuals. Together, we can survive." "Nice speech," Rikku said, "But does M have to be an enemy? If M wants us to get rid of Kira, we want to get rid of Kira -- I don't see why that's a bad thing." EDIT: I keep on forgetting that M is supposed to be bolded and italicized.
  8. Woah, is that a threat, Alexander? I don't like M's methods, but at least he's only blackmailing us, not ******* threatening to kill people. And he's even promised some form of pay. That's not something that deserves death. All of Rikku's crimes are nonviolent, and she's pretty inexperienced when it comes to organized crime. Killing is much different than occasional theft or invading people's rooms. So if you push too hard, she'll bail.
  9. It might also depend on when the society considers the fetus to be a human. Maybe the Breath doesn't come all at once, but develops during pregnancy and is a full-size "Breath" shortly before birth.
  10. A familiar quote that is relevant to your overall theme but also makes sense by itself. Simple, but effective.
  11. Rikku tried to see if whoever owned the laptop had been logged in, but she had no such luck. Pity. Rikku opened incognito mode to check her gmail, but was interrupted by a scream and loud crashes coming from the living room. Rikku flinched, but continued typing in her password. One new email. She opened it. To: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] From: [email protected] Hello friends. Joseph here. Hal recently contacted the four of us about a job, beneficial to all of us. Removing our criminal records from Interpol, rendering us safe from both the police, and Kira. As I'm certain you're all aware, this M character has taken it upon himself to hold our records hostage, in order to force us to work for him against Kira. While I do not fault his motives, I despise his methods. I want to get my records back. For all of us. But I can't do it alone. Not against someone who knows I'm coming, and is literally reading this email right now. (Seriously M, get out of my computer. First Rikku, then you? Can I have a little privacy?(If you do keep snooping around in my stuff, at least stay out of the folder labeled FnFction. For your sanity as much as mine.)) Rikku, Alexander, Hal, Sumiko. I need your help. If you're willing to help me take the fight against M, please, meet me in the National park south of the city. There's a large open field where we can discuss our plans to deal with M and Kira without being overheard. Bring Umbrella's (As old as possible) and paper. No electronics. Even you Alex. I don't want M to have anyway to know what we say, not even satellites looking down. So we'll be writing what we say, then burning the papers directly afterwards. (That's your job Sumiko.) I'm counting on you four to be there. Please. Joseph Busshu. So the M thing hadn't been limited to this laptop. Was the Interpol job canceled? What about her pay? Last month, she'd barely broken even with the rent and tuition, even with almost daily raids at the major shopping centers. "****," Rikku said. Then she turned the laptop off and looked for an umbrella. How do I know you have our records? Give me a copy and then I'll consider it. Also, if you hire me, you have to be willing to pay for expenses. If I get caught because I couldn't afford a disguise, I'm useless. What are the rules of RP swearing?
  12. Wish granted. You now cannot touch anybody or be touched by anybody, for they are wounded every single time they squish a skin cell. No more hugs for you, ever! I wish that I knew the programming languages html, CSS, and Java.
  13. The door to Joseph and Hal's room was open. Good. Rikku was sure they wouldn't mind her...perusing some of the items her fellow partners-in-crime had left in their rooms. A blue light glowed in the darkness. Rikku flicked the lights on and walked into the room. Someone had left his laptop open, and on. Rikku grinned and found the mouse attached to it. She clicked around with it, then started poking around. Then the screen blanked out. "Greetings Kira. And to you as well, L. I- am M." Rikku stared at the laptop in confusion. What was this? Some video? Had she clicked the wrong button? Rikku tried to close the video, but the escape button wouldn't work. Rikku tried to pause the video. That didn't work either. Something played out of the speakers, but she missed it. "Oh, and a message to those that are considering breaking into Interpol to confiscate their records: it is not recommended. I've already taken the liberty of removing everyone's records for the duration of the investigation. They are stored in a safe location that only I will have access to. So you need not fear your information falling into the wrong hands and the only thing you will accomplish will be to risk getting caught by Interpol security. Who...? What? Whoever had made this video knew about Hal's plan, and claimed to have already done the job. Who the **** could have done that? "Instead of planning a wild goose chase, I offer you another option. You can work for me. You have 3 days to decide on whether or not you will accept my offer. I will be in touch." The video ended and left Rikku gaping at the screen. Maybe...maybe investigating Joseph and Hal's room hadn't been such a great idea. Meta, how much would you pay?
  14. Vin was chosen because she had an easily accessible source of hemalurgic bronze (her sister), but Kelsier was also a Mistborn with a potential source of hemalurgic bronze (Marsh). If Ruin had picked Kelsier to free him, things might have gone very differently for the world. Some food for thought.
