That's a very good question. Is a potential person a person? Potential teammate? How do you know I'm the Seer? Hmm. Whyever would you have joined a lynch if you didn't suspect something like this? After all, isn't the point of a lynch to kill an elim? "Chums" isn't the right word to describe El and Orlok's relationship. It's not deep enough. But yes, I do agree that El's vote on me was suspicious. Perhaps it could have been a bus attempt.

Alright, took a closer look at Lemon and looked at her posts in the QF. I think Lemon is an elim[/color]. Their posts in the QF seem much more detailed than in here. I feel like Lemon isn't putting a lot of effort in analysis in this game, which would make sense if they're already elim. At the beginning of this game, I dismissed the things Lemon said as newbie inexperience, but it turns out that this isn't Lemon's first game, so they have less of an excuse.

Very well then, Orlok. This vote is for self preservation, but I could switch to a Lemon lynch. If she's been playing differently here than in the MR, that's kind of suspicious.

Sorry for not posting any disscussion this cycle, it probably makes me look really hypocritical about pinging all of those inactives and asking them to talk. Some things happened and I wasn't sure whether continuing to stay active was of any use. I think Orlok's sudden jump to the Lemon lynch is really, really weird. Also, Wilson feels rather in lockstep with Orlok. I think that either 1) they're villagers and very sure about their reads (if Lemon and I are both elims, then it's probably harder for the elim team to keep both of us alive) and they're trying to do an early cycle village hammer or 2) they're elims and are so close to parity that they don't care about staying hidden. Orlok did claim Soother, so if he's an elim the village automatically gets -1 vote to every critical lynch. I'll take a look at Lemon's posts later.

Up until now, Locke had not been touched, despite Armina's careful setup. That was fine. Armina had bigger plans now. Locke had become Regional Assistant Manager; Armina would become Regional Prelan. While all the others squabbled over who was more suspicious, Armina had slipped away. She crept to Waern's door and knelt to the crack between wood and floor. She pushed a small piece of paper into the crack. Like always, the stationary could be traced vack to House Tekiel, so any retaliation would fall on Locke, not Armina. I know what you have done, the note said. How does it feel, to know that you fathered a skaa child? For once, Armina allowed herself a wide smile as she imagined Waern's panic. Hopefully, it would make things more convincing when he was found dead in his own office -- by his own hand, of course. In the meantime, Armina would enjoy watching him squirm.

Orlok. You keep on saying that I targeted a player who is probably village. What you keep on missing is that Wilson is already effectively dead. She was dead the momet she made this post: There, Wilson says "I've rather lost all desire to play this game". Just a sentence before, she indicates a preference for being lynched over going inactive. I know and you know that Wilson does not say these types of things lightly. When she says that she does not want to play anymore, it doesn't matter that I think she's probably village (which is the source of her frustration). She's not going to benefit the village in any way. It's not that Wilson is busy with life or otherwise unable to play. She is unwilling to play. She was already dead from the moment she voted on herself, and still is now, even if her name isn't crossed out on the playerlist.

That's why I asked for a Coinshot to do that. EDIT: you actually did not make it very clear that you would vote on PK if I voted on him. I'm not that good at predicting player actions. If you don't outright say it, I probably won't catch it.

Orlok, maybe I could have done that. But Wilson had already declared that she didn't want to play anymore, to the point of voting on herself. She was effectively dead from that moment on, so I figured that she wouldn't care if a villager shifted the lynch to her. If you were me, would you rather that a confirmed and active villager (yourself) lived, or that a probably village player who was already effectively dead stayed alive on the playerlist only? Besides, I figured that if Wilson wanted out of the game, I could help her with that. Maybe it would make an effective enough point to change people's actions toward her in future games. It didn't occur to me that I could put things at a 3-way tie. Maybe it should have, but on Tuesdays I have less Shard access and for some reason I'd thought rollover was an hour earlier than it actually was. I ran with the first solution that popped into my head.

Right, this is pathetic. I know I'm double posting, but nobody has posted in six hours even though we still have nineteen players alive. Crazy, huh? Come on people, let's get some discussion going. If you don't want to talk at Night, talk more during the Day. Quick reads list from off the top of my head: Alrin (Arinian) Voting, but not explaining his reasoning much. Slightly elim. Sheon, formerly of House Idris (Seonid) Dunno, he's not very active. Locke, formerly of House Tekiel (Orlok Tsubodai) Inactive. I could say that he'd be prime conversion material if he was active, but then that turns into an IKYK with the Seer. Not very helpful this game. Straw (Straw) Not very active. NAI? Hadrian, formerly of House Penrod (Araris Valerian) Kind of active, or at least not inactive. Lurkish, maybe slight elim read? John (Shqueeves) Inactive, NAI. Variel, ambitious and young (StrikerEZ) Inactive, NAI. Marsh, but not that Marsh (Darkness Ascendant) More analysis than in previous games (that I remember), but that's a positive shift. Slight village read for effort. Pix (Lemonelon) Bordering on inactivity. NAI. Jaina, obsessed with pandas (littlewilson) Village, but unlikely to be helpful. Cyfna (Elbereth) Inactive. NAI. Edguardo 'The Great', long on plans but short on money (Paranoid King) Less active as game goes on. Slight elim read. Armina, of House Handler (Arranae) Village, duh. Sony Inactive, Nai. Rin (doc12) Inactive, NAI. DarianHammersmith Inactive, NAI. Droughtbringer Active at the beginning, but that dropped off. Seems to talk when summoned. Maybe slight elim read? Davus Inactive, NAI. (This is getting sad). Nickel, formerly of House Izenry (Aonar Faileas) Inactive, NAI. I don't think we have a Coinshot, but may as well ask anyways. To any Coinshots that may exist: could you please go through all of the inactive players who seem unlikely to return and kill them? In previous games, elims have won because one of them was a lurker who the village left alone. I'd rather not have that happen here. I'm most suspicious of those who are hovering at the border between activity and inactivity, because they're paying attention to the game and able to place kill orders but not drawing much attention to themselves. Perfect place for an elim to hide, especially since discussion in this game has died a miserable and choking death. But hey, we can still change that. To the approximately six other players in this game who are still talking, thank you. I know that it's hard to get discussion going when there isn't much momentum, but I really appreciate your efforts, even if some of them are directed towards offing me. >.> C5 is still early game. We have room to turn this around. Let's go elim hunting.

Okay, so there's another Soother out there. Depending on when the Soothe happened, this probably was either to tip the lynch onto me or to save Wilson.

Bah. I get that, but Wilson just said that she doesn't want to continue the game. Sooo not that helpful, even if I think she's village. And I know I'm village. I know this is last minute (stupid school), but in the interest of full disclosure I'll say that I am a Soother, so don't be surprised at the vote tally next cycle. EDIT: you can scan me next Night to check, or maybe the Night afterwards in case of offensive smoking.

I've said it over and over this game, but I'll say it again. This game is dead. Let's change that. Here's the list of people who haven't posted this Day: @Seonid, are you here? @Orlok Tsubodai, I know that you're not in a good place right now. About when do you think you'll be able to handle SE without collapsing? @Straw, any thoughts on this game? @Shqueeves, what do you think of the other players? @StrikerEZ, who are you suspicious of? @Elbereth, now that you're back from your break, are you available? @Paranoid King @Sony, I saw you on Discord last night. Mind popping into here? @Doc12 How's the homework load? @DarianHammersmith, what do you think about things? Even if you're not very certain, it's always better to say what you think. Maybe you'll have seen something others missed. @Davus, if you see this, can you say something? @Aonar Faileas, can you give your reads on things?

Okay, more indepth response now that I have the time: Look, if you're going to say I'm an elim because of a playstyle shift, could you do a better job of connecting the playstyle shift to being an elim? I've been on an SE hiatus that's at least two months long, I'm trying to drum up activity through vote pressure because this game is so dead, and I have more homework to deal with than last year. So please, tell me how being a little mire vote-happy means that I'm an elim? >.> I don't remember saying that for anyone was NAI except for Sart, and I said Sart was NAI-leaning-village. Why do you think I was converted N3? Arinian, do you mind explaining why you voted on me over Wilson?

Davus is absolutely silent. He last visited the Shard on October 8, when he signed up for this game. NAI. Can someone please coinshot him? I don't think he's going to come back. Droughtbrigner is lurking. C1 He says he doesn't want a lynch. According to him, this is consistent to how he feels in other games, so I'll take that as NAI. Drought wants to lynch Aman D3 or earlier, just in case anyone has given him info. I think this is something either an elim or a villager could push for, so still NAI. He responds to El, saying that the benefits of a no-lynch are greater than the detriments, especially in this game. Then he asks Striker what Aman's plan was. Drought responds to DA saying that he hasn't been lurking and that he has a plan that he'll tell one other person. Then he pings people, presumably those who hadn't spoken that night. C2 Drought pokevotes El for not being very active. The says that he "has a few things forming," but no real suspicions at the time. C3 Drought casts suspicion on Sart by saying that Sart's defense of saying that he was suspicious of me doesn't work very well. C4 Nothing @DroughtBringer was last online yesterday, so he seems to be lurking more than just completely inactive, which is an easy way for an elim to stay under the radar. Drought, are you here? Do you mind saying something?

I think Aonar is [b/very, very inactive.[/b] C1 Aonar advocates for a no lynch but provides little reasoning for it besides that it "goes back to his roots". Aonar says that it's a shame that Aman was lynched, because he likes gambits. NAI, maybe? I could see this as coming from a villager who likes a little chaos in his games or from an elim recognizing a worthy opponent. C2 Nothing C3 Nothing D4 Nothing Wow, that was useful. @Aonar Faileas, hello? Are you still alive? Did you get lost in the wild and dark forests of Canada?

Armina crouched in the vent, trying to get a closer look at Waern's desk again. He'd had a letter from Luthadel last time, but Armina had escaped before she could read it. Was that the letter, on his desk? It bore the stamp of the Luthadel Steel Ministry at the end. Dear Prelan Waern, the top line said. The body text below was smaller, harder to read. Armina pressed her face up against the vent. She still couldn't read it, but maybe she could guess at some of the phrases. ...you are well?...be grateful that we are undertaking...your mess, Waern...only relocated...new lead. Hopefully your current issue...appreciate the importance...ensuring no half-skaa children live. Most sincerely...Prelan Rhine of Luthadel. Armina gaped at the letter. Was it implying what she thought she did? Once, she'd thought that Waern was untouchable, but this...this changed everything.
