  1. I am not trying to bandwagon you. My post was that just voting for experienced players day one is not a solid strategy. I will remove my vote on you if it seems like you will be lynched, I was just trying to tie it up. I apologize if I seemed angry in my last post.
  2. In general, eliminating people is not a good thing to do, however on Day One, just going by the fact they are experienced shouldn't protect them. Yes they would be a huge asset to the Villagers if they were good, but it is also likely that experienced players are Eliminators. I am going to cast my vote at your for now, Jain, because of that statement, as well as Meta's point of that you brought it from a tie to a lynch, at least right now.
  3. I would be interested in it, if enough people are.
  4. Nope, like Seonid said, I like the Guardian viewpoints. The Paladin viewpoint was tragic and sad, but the upside of the whole post was Guardian. He is fantastic, nice job That looks right to me.
  5. My reaction exactly. I am liking Guardian even more now, though, as an upside from that post.
  6. I'm looking forward to the attacks. And I agree with what everyone has said about god-modding, it hasn't really existed yet Seonid, that was an awesome/terrible post. Why must you do something like that?
  7. You mean you don't want to be confronted by your deepest fear and having a copy of yourself tell you it's all your fault?
  8. Aura slouched into the bus seat with a sigh of relief. Finally, actual transportation, she thought, shooting a glare at Event Horizon as he sat down. Flying through the air was a great dream and all, but Aura had decided when she had no control over it, flying was definitely a bad thing. She had just started to relax when the bus hit something, sending it into a roll down a hill. Seriously?! I can't even travel safely here without walking?! Aura thought as she was thrown into the side of the bus. She managed to wedge herself in a seat to prevent further tumblings, and growled angrily when she saw that Event Horizon, after his initial toss, was now floating in the middle of the bus, a look of concentration on his face. The bus came to a stop sidewise, and Aura nimbly dropped from the seat onto the windows, now the floor of the bus. She started rubbing her head to ease the pain, as Busdriver asked "You guys okay?" Aura was about to respond when he turned back around and started panicking. She laughed when he undid his seatbelt and fell to the floor, but stifled it as he said "We've gotta get out of here. We have about thirty seconds 'til this bus turns back into a tiny pebble. Go!" and pointed to the back exit. She was about to rush to the back exit when Event Horizon put an arm in front of her. "Lets make this easier and calmer," he muttered, tossing a small black hole at the back of the bus. The back vanished, compressed down into a point. Event Horizon steadily walked out of the bus, and when they were about ten feet away from it, he turned to Busdriver. "This is what you do, right? This is your power. So would you explain to me, why you screwed up like that." Event Horizon said, softly, with a voice that hinted of his anger. Steven received word that Aura and Event Horizon had withdrawn, and that Quicksilver had assaulted a major command post. A diversion! he thought, annoyed, I should have expected that! He listened over the radio as Vondra sent out orders to Glamour and Edgerunner to go reinforce the outpost. "Sir? Another Epic just walked into town. He refused to stand down, so we engaged, but he shattered our guns and we couldn't shoot him. We attempted to follow but our vehicles kept breaking." One of the radios spat out "Get a report on the Epic, and send it in. Find him," Steven responded back. You pathetic worms. Can't do anything---he stomped down that thought before it consumed him, and left the command center to go speak to Vondra. Steven had heard that three other Epics had been apprehended, so he headed towards Reader's chapel.
  9. I expected something like that to happen. My first thought was for Event Horizon to toss a black hole at the engine, so, that wouldn't have turned out the best.
  10. Ok, I think I will include Hydron start to head to Vondra to talk about the raid in my next post, so he will be either in that meeting or after that meeting. Edit: Mail-mi, what happens if the fuel tank just vanishes?
  11. When are we going to see the first Vondra post?
  12. Eh, explosion, being shrunk down into a tiny rock, what's the difference?
  13. *is thinking that all the ship names involving the Ballooner are great* *is also entertained by Glamour's POV immensely.*
  14. *is realizing that he completely forgot that the bus was about to explode...* *is thinking about writing the start of the exiting of the bus and the start of the meeting sometime tomorrow.* *believes that Mad Ballooner will be the key in interstellar travel, due to his magnificent balloons*
  15. *is really hoping that was mostly copy paste, otherwise you spent way too long on that. *is wondering if a meeting between Event Horizon/Aura and Quicksilver should be written.
  16. Mundivore watched from the side of the hanger as Corpsemaker and Quota had their discussion, getting angry as it went on. How dare he, Mundivore thought, I'll crush him next chance I get. He took a step towards the two, then stopped as someone appeared in the room. He introduced himself as Timeport, and went about his meeting with Corpsemaker about the same that Mundivore had. Mundivore wasn't really paying attention, but he flinched and got on guard when Corpsemaker lashed his hand out and grabbed Timeport by the throat. As Timeport fell to the floor, Mundivore felt fear flare up inside him, and glared at Quota. It was a fear of Corpsemaker, a new fear of failure, that sprung up in him, but as Mundivore stared at Quota, his rage also reached higher levels. Who does he think he is?! We are fellow Epics, not some cattle to scare to the slaughter! Mundivore started walking towards Quota, intent on ending his life. "The rest of you would do good to remember this lesson. 'A little trust goes a Long way. The less you use, the further you'll go. Now get back to work." Corpsemaker said, addressing the rest of the room. Mundivore stopped immediately, and regained control of himself, considering what Corpsemaker would do to him. As he did, he started to chuckle quietly, fighting against Quota's stranglehold. What can he do to me?! Nothing! He can't kill me! As he came to this realization, Mundivore walked up to Quota, and, instead of hating the fear, ignoring it, said "Lessen up on the new Epic. Crippling him with fear this early would make him useless to everyone."
  17. Facade watched as Darkest created an illusion of a man and said, "Go ahead and try." Facade concentrated on the man, and with a little more effort that he was used to, created a copy of him. "Well, that opens up lots of possibilities," Facade said as he watched the image start talking to a copy of Darkest Hour. "Shall we attempt to find this Mobius, then?" he asked, turning back to Darkest.
  18. Seriously? 6 pages in one day?! Wow. I normally read everything, but I think I will pass on those ones. Joe, that Corpsemaker post was fantastic. Mrs Voidus and Twi, your collaboration was also amazing. And Seonid, Paladin is awesome.
  19. "My apologies, for I don't know. I only just arrived here myself," Darkest replied. "Pardon, but what is your name, friend? I can fix your power too, for I can create any image of light. Sadly, there is no sound to accompany them. If I create an illusion of someone, you could replicate it, correct?" "My name is Facade, and I think I could replicate your illusion, but I've never had an opportunity like this before. Shall we attempt it?" Facade asked, pondering the situation. So I am not the only one brought here... If there are us two, there are probably more, scattered throughout the city.
  20. Event Horizon used his power to fly Aura and himself low to the ground away from the outpost, so they wouldn't draw out more attention. Once they were far enough away, he manipulated gravity to land them gently, started walking to the meeting place. Sure enough, he heard a car horn go off and, when they turned the corner, there was BusDriver. Aura hopped in before Event Horizon, probably glad that she wasn't hurtling through the air. "Well, we finished out mission, lets head back to Quicksilver, shall we?" Event Horizon spoke as he sat down up near BusDriver.
  21. As much as Event Horizon enjoys flying through the air, he does acknowledge the need for lesser transportation. I'll get a post up for those two soon.
  22. Those are awesome.
  23. Facade turned around right after he had set off to explore the town when he heard the woman start sobbing again. "Why, hello, sir, my name is Darkest Hour. I see you are also a light illusionist. Mind if I walk with you?" a man said as he walked on his cane toward Facade. Facade glanced at the woman he had tormented, seeing that she had started crying again. "I assume you are responsible for her.. outbreak? Feel free to walk with me, then, you seem to be one of my equals. However, I wouldn't call myself a light illusionist, seeing as I only can create copies of people. But this limitation is made up for by the fact that they act like the person I based the image on." Facade manifested a couple of images of Darkest Hour, and started walking forward when he caught up. "I am told this place is called Calamityville and ruled by Mobius. I am inclined to believe she is incredibly powerful going by objects like that," Facade pointed to a building that was floating in the sky, "and I wish to meet her. Would you know where she is?"
  24. So I just realized something: Facade can create a image of any person he sees, he just needs to have seen them once before. Darkest Hour can create illusions of people. That pretty much means that Facade could create an image of anyone, he just needs to see the illusion first.
  25. Mundivore would have been completely chill with Koschei's rule. In fact, that is the type of leader he was looking for. Someone bent on creating a vast empire with immortal leaders. So he probably would have jumped into Koschei's boat. Parity would dislike him, and as such, probably get killed, with maybe taking out a building or one of his lifes before he died.
