  1. It's really foggy here and it is night. I kind of want to get some pennies and my Halloween Elend cloak and sprint around tossing pennies and pretending to be a mistborn.
  2. "D-dignity? That sounds scary! I bet the Lord of the Silverfish would have killed me if I had any dignity. Thank goodness for... *sees a silverfish* Help! Help! It's one of his spies! Um... I was just telling of your glories, O Great Silvery One."
  3. I join the tautology club by joining the tautology club. I would like to be dictator because I would like to be dictator. My first act as dictator would be my first act as dictator.
  4. Well, if I could vote, and if you were old enough, I'd write you in, but I can't. I'll just make signs.
  5. I believe that I was a forum quintuplet with Mist, Honor, Allomancy and Ripple.
  6. So... Let's take a vote. Reckoners RPers: Are they a.) Jedi b.) Toydarians c.) Hutts d.) All of the Above e.) Insanity given physical form Everyone, cast your votes.
  7. Ashad woke up near noon, his head pounding from the previous night's revelry. Lurching out of his comfortable bed at the Golden Pony, he quickly downed a glass of water and prepared to make his way to the University. Passing through the streets, he heard voices murmuring about some sort of incident. As he came nearer to the University, Ashad found that the rumors became more and more specific, from some nebulous incident, to the injury of a student, to murder, to creatures of Fae stalking the grounds. That last point was almost impossible to believe. Gaming aside, he had been educated at the University and while he knew that the Fae did exist, he had been sure that the Skindancers had been wiped out ages ago. If the Fae walked the grounds, then even the serious students of the University would struggle against them. Ashad was just a gambler with some money and education. If he could help, he had to, for his own hide, if no one else's. Stumbling onto campus, Ashad made up his mind that he would bunk in Anker's from now on. That would save him some money, and the people who played cards at such a tavern were more likely to be desperate and to make foolish errors. If he were to survive and enjoy a luxury education for years to come, he would have to sacrifice now. Sighing, Ashad sat back in his chair and gave only half of his mind to the droning lecture. You'd think that a rhetoric teacher could be more interesting. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apologies for the bad RP, I'm kind of new to this.
  8. That was beautiful. I don't really think that there is much more that I can say to it than those three words, but I am very glad that you linked it in your signature.
  9. Well, I haven't read Skin Game yet, so I haven't quite caught up, but Cold Days was storming amazing.
  10. This. Also this. That is to say... http://dilbert.com/strip/1996-08-25
  11. I'm back. I didn't want to get on before I read Calamity, and then I just had to read Cold Days for The Dresden Files, and I was in a cave without internet access last weekend, but I have returned. Calamity was amazing and Dresden Files keeps getting better (you were right, Kaymyth). On a suitably random note, I'm typing this thinking of what a good evil mastermind I'd make, typing on my laptop in a darkened room and occasionally randomly laughing.
  12. Glad to hear it. That gives me something to look forward to this summer. I was first on the waitlist last summer. That's what comes of chronic procrastination. I got the stuff in early this year, so hopefully it works better.
  13. So what would Sightline be doing with the MEE?
  14. I get to do something with Sightline. This sounds fun.
  15. Is NYLT fun? I'm planning on going to it this year.
  16. I just finished White Night. It was so good. I love the Dresden Files.
  17. Just finished my Venturing chili cookoff fundraiser. First place. It's small, but pleasing.
  18. And this site that lets me regain it.
  19. What Twimom thinks: "Hey Twimom, you so fine..."Everyone else: "Go away and hand in any devices that allow communication."
  20. If it needs to be double spaced, move it up to 2.3 spacing. If the essay or the teacher is ridiculous, write your complaints in white text. Also, plot to get your AP U.S teacher an annoy-a-tron next year because she deserves one.
