but the magnitude of every shard (using your interpretation) would be the same. Because every Shard has the same amount of Investiture
-
Probably he counted every Shard with Splinter of itself (therefore also Endowment, Cultivation and Odium).
-
Yes but every Regional Sub-Magic System on Sel seems pretty neutral as a whole
-
Well some Kandra may be his descendants
-
I used this strong correlation between the Sel's Religions and the Sel's Shards to build my "Unity Theory" but there are many possible explainations
-
So why exactly is Nightblood so stupendously overpowered?
Yata replied to kroen's topic in Warbreaker
I agree with Consumed Investiture is dispersed after. But about the difference between a standard Spren and Nightblood, I see it differently. Neither the standard Spren draw on Shard's Power. Nightblood is exactly what a Spren is, an amount of Investiture that gained sentiences. Therefore I supposed that his need of Investure was about a deficit of his own power. From the Warbreaker annotation, we discovered that Nightblood isn't capable to keep his full power and his full mind at the same time. I simply thought that while Nightblood is used actively, he tries to restore his mental ability. Of course I may be wrong -
Well the Death Rattle are caused by an Unmade of Odium, the Deathspren is (very probably) not an OdiumSpren.

Forgery is indeed one of the most "Spiritual" Magic System.
-
May someone ask: To perform Hemalurgy, in the chain "Hemalurgist (the one who put the Intent), Spike, Victim" there is need of Ruin's Investiture ?
-
The Soulcasting and Forgery works through two very different method and to obtain different outcome (there is a post about somewhere in the forum). The Soulcasting works mainly with the Cognitive Aspect of the target, with no or little change on the Spiritual. With that you may change only the matter/energy of the target. The Forgery works mainly with the Spiritual Aspect of the target. With Forgery you rewrite the Target's History changing the target's spiritual connections with place, people, time,ecc.... Anyway someone asked to mister Sanderson if the Forgery may be used for gaining the Elantrian's status and he said that you may use it to have an Elantrian look but you can't gain the AonDor through this method.

And if the Nahel Bond was in a advanced states, you may "gift" a Dead-Shardblade to the Evil guy.

A Shardblade meets resistence when it cuts through living things.
-
Sorry I misread your post Anyway to me it's quite impossible that Ym may fools Nale. Both through of Illumination Surge (we can't be even sure he was a Truthwatcher, maybe he was an EdgeDancer) because Nalan will feel that the Blade didn't catch any resistence. Both through Progression (or Stormlight Healing). To me, many people think to Regrow as more power than its real uselness.
-
You talk about Ym's Interlude.
-
I am with Morzathoth, an uncompatible people with a forceful Nahel Bond will break the Bond very fast and killing the Spren.

The scene was from Ym's POV and It stopped when the Shardblade killed him
-
I loved Ym but I find quite impossible his return unless Nale wanted kill & resurrect him (and I find unlikely also this possibility). Nale knows very well the 10 surges and Ym can't trick him with a "later regrow" (and Ym didn't keep Stormlight anyway). About the "kill&resurrection" nale want to eradicate the KR and therefore resurrecting Ym will be pointless. PS: I don't know if we understand what the "Regrow Surge" does. To me seems that apply the Stormlight Healing to another subject, therefore is quite useless to the KR himself.
-
Yeah the Squirres of a RK may drawn in Stormlight. We saw it a couple of time in the Books, but about their possility to uses Surge, we don't know nothing (and to me they can't use them).
-
I don't remember Squires using Surges O.O I must remember wrong.

Some days ago a guy send me that based on my "Unity Theory", now I am waiting to him posting the photo on the forum. No Spoiler, just a bit off topic:

There is a new WoB about the Herderazian-culture's survival after centuries after Stormlight Archive (but it is a little spoiler for who didn't read the novellas).
-
Of course, I was just speaking about the possibilities. But honestly speaking, is the only Magic System that come to my mind, that has no need of strong connection to a Shard/Shardworld to work fine.

Sixth of Dusk timeline/ones above Brandon Answers [Maybe spoilers]

Well at least something of the Herdazian Culture will survive to the event on their home planet- 50 replies

I always though that that the lesser Spren "bonds" itself with someone/something when someone is "affine" with them. And this is the reason to their "spawn" in the Physical Realm in visible form. Of course this bond grant no power or sentience. And the bond is terminated when the host became lesser affine with the spren
