Actually I was already quite critical about my reading. And Brandon just upgrade my critical side. But I made a distinction about what the book wants to be. A light reading may be good also if you start it with the right mind set.

Here on Cosmere 101 there are some acronyms but they are not all of them

Why Mistborn or Full Feruchemists did not have "mixing effects"?
Yata replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
Yeah I just quoted myself, but there is a reason (probably a good one). I bent this quoted part because it misses a very large piece. IF from the powers mix borns always a single "perk" (not multiple) it is possibles that Mistborn and Full Feruchemists had their perks (one for Mistborn and another for Feruchemists) in the past. But it was something that nobody would notice, after all was part of the standard power set of a Mistborn (Feruchemist). For example sometime ago I posted a possible theory about how the Misting's Allomancy is different by the Mistborn's one and indeed this may be the Mistborn perk. Of course this may be wrong, but we may maybe find something peculiar about how this Magic Users are different from Misting and Ferring. With the Feruchemist is a tricky question, because in the original trilogy the Ferring didn't exist at all and it is more hard to find some relevant difference...We have probably to find some feat performed only by Sazed PS: Of course a Fullborn or the 16 type of Mistborn-Ferring or the 16 type of Feruchemist-Misting have different perks. -
Hemalurgy is probably the most low Investiture magic we saw in the whole cosmere. The a piece of spirit web doesn't keep much investiture...just think about the new connections a human make in his life. If an old guy isn't more invested than a child this mean that his growing Spiritweb didn't gift to him any meaningful investiture. This is just to say that Mr. T may become extra smart without be high invested. A "simple" warp in his SpiritWeb may make him quite everything possible, also made him a super genius. As someone said before, probably is more likely that he is not stable in the realms as other men but instead a meaningful part of him shift every day between the realms.... It's something similar to Lift's condition if you think about. She was forceful pushed "near" the Cognitive, probably much more than a Listener (a race already more near to the cognitive realm).

There are some problems with this theory: 1) W&W's book are after the SA5 therefore if this would happen, it must to happen in the second SA's arc 2) Sazed can't leave Scadrial, it's too Invested there...Is a problem Ruin had and is quite double for Sazed. Of course He may probably unmade the whole Scadrial and then reach Roshar but I am really really doubtful about this possibility. 3) I am really unsure if he would be capable of pick up Cultivation. If the Shards itself are too high as being to be bothered by something like Connections, ok...if he need to be Connected enough with Cultivation I don't think Sazed may reach this state in little time. 3a) Sazed is influenced for 300 years by Ruin and Preservation's mandate...probably this made him less compatible with Cultivation. 3b) Loving the Vessel don't made you connected with the Shard...not enough to pick up a Shard.

Why Mistborn or Full Feruchemists did not have "mixing effects"?
Yata replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
Actually Jondesu I think that VenDell and Khriss are talking exactly of something supernatural born from the mix of powers. Stupid example the mnemonic abilities of Shallan (I don't know if Shallan's Memories are actually her "extra", it was just to made an example of "abilitiy"). Not simply an option they may performe (for example the ability to every Nicrosil-X Twinborn to improve his Allomantic X with Feruchemy or Compound or the unkeyed Metalmind ) something not strictly coded within the System's rules that comes to be as "unexpeded effect". -
The Diagram predicted both the outcomes. A Dalinar warlord and a peaceful one. Probably Mr T predicted what would happen if Dalinar will begin to follow Gavilar's path and what if he don't. This may happen with the Gavilar's last words, with a promise made before that night. Without direct reason with Dalinar who began to show interest in what Gavilar did,ecc.... Whatever the trigger may be, with the knowledge (first hand) of Dalinar's mind and an absolute intellect.. Mr T may really predict what Dalinar will become....of course he can't know if the "trigger" was activated.

Why Mistborn or Full Feruchemists did not have "mixing effects"?
Yata replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
Yeah, I am thinking the same. A single Surge comes with a set of Abilities (for example the two Leashes possible with the Gravity surge) while within the metallic arts a power has not multiple outcomes. Two surges are like two different mini magic Systems merged. A Mistborn (or a Full Feruchemist) uses a single magic system with an expanded power set. PS: This made me think...are the perks cumulative or not ? For example a Fullborn, have a single Fullborn's perk or a very high number of perks ? -
Actually we don't know. Syl was a Spren with a well developed mind when Kel retrive the Honorblade. Imagine a Spren who simply follow his basic istinct... It may be afraid of something strange like an Honorblade. It's not a proof, I know it. But it's a possibility. Maybe also the specific Honorblade may be a key (a Windrunner-like one for a probably Skybreaker...two order with not friendly relationship) but this would mean that the Shamans knowed Szeth was right and stopped him...This go beyond the negligence and closed mind, it's a real crime aganist their society and (if they are really well informed) the whole Roshar.

Someone remember if in the prose version are there some references to "faces" spread in the natural envirorment ? If it's a relevant element of worldbuilding I am surprised to not notice also in the prose.

Why Mistborn or Full Feruchemists did not have "mixing effects"?
Yata replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
The Kandra's line doesn't imply that the compound is a secondary power: And as I mention before, the Compound isn't something coded in a twinborn (or fullborn) sDNA...It's just an hack to the metallic arts, every misting may compound with the right metalmind (and knowledge). -
Why Mistborn or Full Feruchemists did not have "mixing effects"?
Yata replied to Oversleep's question in Cosmere Q&A
Indeed the Compound is not one of those secondary effects. As you may see, in theory you may compound also with Allomancy alone if someone gives to you the right unkeyed Metalmind. About the reason for the Mistborn & Feruchemist absence of perks, probably the power is too integrated. It's not like to have n powers, but you have a single power with multiple possibilities. I have to admit that it's a weak explaination. But while on Roshar a Surgebinder manipulates the existence forces (surges) within Metallic art the specific Misting power is only a different filter for the same "power" (this is true also for a Ferring power) -
Magic systems & leaving one's homeland?
Yata replied to Adurna's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
@Jondesu already answered. But I don't know if this may happen on Sel....Of world we see it to happen. But I am unsure if an Elantrian may be completely cut of by the Dor with the distance alone.- 5 replies

Yes as Eki said, I meant that a Spren in his early stage of bond may be more likely to run away if something too strange happened to the proto-partner

Magic systems & leaving one's homeland?
Yata replied to Adurna's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
ok you put a lot of matter in a single topic, I will try to answer to all: The Selish's magic is location dependant (as you said) and the users will recive less Dor as far their travel from their "area". There are some magic users who are affected more and some less. Elantrians for example are weakened also traveling in the Arelon-Teod region (their region) because the power they show in Elantris area is above its natural level (Elantris boost Aondor) and what you see in Teod is the "standard power" if they continue going far away their power would decrease further (as any other Sel mage). The Monk have less problem with this because some of their "powers" are indeed not magical (Dor dependant), their anatomy was twisted and this upgrades remain also without magic help..of course the active magic boost become weak with the distance. About the Soul Forgery it's a low Investiture Magic, therefore may probably work fine for longer distances before show problems...but notice that in Elantris's area nobody seems to know the existence of Forgery therefore it's probably Forgery can't reach them, remember that Mai Pon si very very far from Elantris. Therefore soon of later also a perfect stamp would be rejected if you take it long enough from Mai Pon. A Selish magic user may go whetever he want. But he must accept that his ability will continue decrease over and over until he has no ability at all (for example on another Planet) as we saw in another books- 5 replies

usually maybe but my building's ones aren't exactly solid also in normal daytime... I would prefer to climb down from the gutter instead EDIT: This made me think that once I did this, I forgot the key and my parents was out of town. Therefore I enter in my house from a window near the gutter (the window was open because it was summer)

Maybe He began to see a Strange Spren who followed him the whole time and knowing of the RK. He alert the Stone Shaman, they made him truthless and give him the Honorblade (this made the spren run away). It's unlikely but it is a possibility.

World misconceptions that are difficult to shift.
Yata replied to ljósmóður's topic in Stormlight Archive
Same to me, I began to listen the Splintercast here on the forum and I was confused for a long time before take confidence with the English pronunciation of the names. Also when someone here wrote the phonetic, to me it's a bit difficoult to get because I continue to read with my own language pronunciation. I was stuck when Mister Sanderson said how "Raoden" have to be pronunced. PS: It's not exacly Cosmere but an Inquisitor with hair is similar to a Fade with hair... It took me a while to adjust myself with the idea -
Some days ago here there was a strong earthquake ( I was not in the epicenter) and while everyone in my palace runned away. I remained in my bed because I though that be on the stairs would be worse (I live at the fifth floor)..... Everybody I told this, think I was a fool

The Identity alone may be not much useful. But it will have (probably) some cool synergies with another magics. For example we know that to Soulcast something you have to overcome the subject Identity (be capable of improve or decrese you Identity give you a variable defense to Soulcast). You may be able to hack some inner limitation of many magic Systems (as we saw with the Feruchemy itself), probably you may retrive Breath stored by someone else or some other trick.

Thanks for your answer, I was unsure about make those question, because I know it's a sensible topic. Probably I have some problem to see them as normal because my only experience with them (with an "assoult rifle" if I remember the right terminology) was not very pleasant. Anyway I understand your point. But to be honest I was much more worried than actually wicked uses than accidental shot. Spoiler to compress a long example about our procedure:

I think the first is the more likely. The Atium made during the Ash world was nealy all burned by Allomancers. Some remain, probably the Marsh's one was the more relevant amount in the world. But the Atium's production was stopped by Kel who destroyed the Crystals... It was stated that it took some centuries before the Pits will produce Atium again. This mean that everybody searched something impossible to find, because there isn't any Atium for the first centuries of Elendel's History. The Atium began to become quite a legend and the effort to find began to decreese (also because without Mistborn is quite useless). When one day the Pits will spawn Atium again(if it hasn't already started).. probably quite nobody will find it (also because Harmony moved quite everything during his re-making of the World)

I have a question for the USA Sharder... I know it's a sensible topic but I ask you to read it all before answer. I always find weird the American's laws about the purchase, right to own and usage of firearms (a little curiosity, I was checking the right words on Google and is "Weapons" the same thing of "firearms" ?). I may understand that different historical background give to the people different PoV about...quite everything (I am even a strange citizen of my own country). This made me think, how you see our (european) restrictions about the Firearms possession/license/use. I am truly curious
