    Hmmm. Is the writer's block the fact u can only working on this Voltron fanfic? or is the writer's block the fact you cannot write another's character? As Calypso has stated, you could, of course, go back through the source material, but I think the problem is more to do with the show itself. Obviously you cannot empathise with them, you don't know them very well. That can be either the show's fault or your own. I haven't watched Voltron, but the reviews are pretty good, so I'm going to assume it's a problem with you, perhaps on a psychological level. How close do you find yourself with the characters? Have you even payed real attention to the characters or have u just been focusing on the plot?

    Yeah, the main problem is what Twi said (Also, twi, since when did u start being active in this corner?). And also, if the world *had* been annihilated to a point, with most people dead. Then I'd assume 10,000 years is plenty of time to repopulate the planet. That's like 100 generations, and I'm gonna assume the population doubles each generation. I'm gonna assume that your new to the whole writing business. So here're some tips. 1. Write what you know (IK, said quite a fair bit, but it's totally important) Research what your writing about, see how other's have portrayed it, draw from your own experiences. 2. Have a theme, it honestly seems like your mindset is in flux between a fantasy story and a post apocalyptic story, and a sci-fi. Of course, should u put some real effort in your ideas, you could make a pretty amazing amalgamate of the genres. You haven't really shared much, so I'm not going to say more for fear of sounding patronising.
