  1. Holy crem, Araris. I know you like to bus, but I can't believe you coinshot your last partner for her Blades. You must really want to be the next Shaman, huh?
  2. Assuming you RB Insanity so he can't use vote manip, I think we're safe? If Tani used any action, I bet it was to protect Insanity with Progression rather than Illumination. I just wanted to get my hands on one Honorblade before the game ended but I'm happy for you too
  3. That hero shot! Well done Araris. Holy crem, that's a lot of Blades Insanity. I will point out that I noticed Tani preferring non-Insanity votes (like tying Elk with Insanity which prompted us to consolidate) a turn or two ago. I probably should have explored that more before I gave up on Silho =/ retrospect is 20/20 and all that Also, something that occurs to me: Tani has the blade from every kill after Alvron, who died while Xino was inactive and before I subbed in. If I was Tani's partner and Bladeless while she began with Vedel, I would be putting in the kills given I have no other availabile action.
  4. I would imagine e!Tani made sure to submit an order then =\ I considered requesting a blade too late too. PM would've been nice as well, but ultimately don't think it'd make a difference other than more fun Wait. I just realized there's a vote missing. Did you RB Insanity?
  5. Well that's totally not depressing. Sorry Silho. Game still going so we now know for certain it's a two elim team. Insanity / Turtle doesn't work because no one could have submitted the Archer kill Insanity / Tani works assuming that Insanity put in the JNV kill and Tani forgot or was not aware Insanity / Araris works but requires Araris being an absolute madlad, and I wouldn't even be mad at this point Tani / Turtle technically works but that would mean Tani pretended to forget she killed JNV Given that I'm the only player that doesn't have a Blade, I guess what happens next is out of my hands. It's been fun.
  6. I have been thinking that Tani works as a partner for Insanity, or if I look at it the opposite way, Silho. Yesterday she tied Elkanah with Insanity, which led to us all consolidating (could indicate partnership). She also has had Silho in her bottom tier for a long time, but I don't remember her ever voting for him. Ultimately the question is: what's the chance of the elims starting with 3 blades? Shallash/Ishar/Kalak or Shallash/Ishar/Vedel is a bit harder to sell than just Shallash/Ishar, Shallash/Kalak, or Shallash/Vedel, + Silho. An Insanity/Tani team would have to require Insanity killing JNV without Tani making that choice, given she forgot JNV died, which seems very unlikely. That leaves Insanity/me or Insanity/you, and I've been pushing Insanity for two days, which means the team has to be You/Insanity, You/Me, or You/Tani. Turtle couldn't have submitted a kill the turn you were RB'd, so they're completely ruled out. The alternative would be a Tani/Turtle team or an Aman/Turtle, as you surmised, because neither of us have accountable actions the last two nights and could've killed, but then Tani would have to have faked forgetting that she killed JNV or I would have to have failed to save Chantara; but again, e!me would have wanted Elkanah to die before Insanity, and I was pushing Insanity all day. I prefer Insanity because I think they're more likely the last elim blade over Tani, so really it's up to Araris. Given the elims have all the vote manip, it's critical for the village to consolidate our votes as much as possible, and I trust him enough to follow his lead. ED1T: I feel insane after writing insanity that many times.
  7. In a 3-elim-world, we immediately lose. Otherwise we have 1 more day after this (2-2). Tani is the only last partner of Insanity, but that would mean the elims starting with a protection blade on top of Ishtar and Shallash. Distro wise, it’s tough, but I could buy it. Ishar to supply alternating protections and untrackable kills? He meant of those he listed. Cinnamon was inactive and Insanity used Tension. Your action is unaccountable. Ugh. You got this!
  8. Two posts in 18 hours Mikey no likey No need to be embarrassed. I'm grateful you came back, though I 100% get IRL needing to take precedence and how the shard encourages procrastination. I myself have an essay to write due Sunday (my last one for this semester, thank Almighty). Turtle only works on a 3-man-remaining-team with Insanity+You or a 2-man team with either Me or Tani. Because of you getting role blocked N5 and Insanity using Tension on Araris N6, the main theory is Insanity killed JNV and you killed Alvron+Archer. @Araris Valerian given Silho's return and the fact he still has IRL responsibilities, we could switch over to him and make his life easier ED1T: @Ookla the catastrophizer hey Cinnamon, pinging you again because if you're village like I suspect we could use your help
  9. Insanity. @Ookla the Implosion @Ookla the catastrophizer What're your thoughts? I think Araris and I have more or less reached an understanding. Also, just noticed, but happy birthday Tani! (2) Insanity: Araris, Aman,
  10. Oof. I just checked Silho's profile and found this. He's not been online since posting this and it doesn't seem like he'll be coming back anytime soon.
  11. I could see an Insanity/Tani world too tbh. I don't think Ishar's Blade, Shallash's Blade, and Vedel's Blade would be too OP of a combo to begin with? But I do feel like it's more likely for just a Shallash/Ishar combo, especially when NKs can earn new blades. Turtle only works in a 3-elim-remaining world, I think? Or in a world where it's just Turtle and me. Idk if a four-man team starting with only Shallash and Kalak is balanced tho. ED1T: Araris. I'm spooked by this entire situation, but realistically, does e!Araris back down and switch to e!Insanity when he could have gotten away with pushing me further? No one else chimed in except Insanity and given the length of the entire game, Araris has more Village cred straight up, so it's likely others would follow him over me. Slightly paranoid that he didn't want to thread brawl and switched tactics to disarm me, but why vote Insanity over Silho then, since we both agree that Silho is very likely? Probably not teamed unless with Turtle as a third, and they're confident they can win no matter what by using their vote manip + Cinnamon's vote. There's slight Insanity/Tani credence for her picking Elkanah over Insanity yesterday, but that seems like a bigger stretch than the much simpler answer of Insanity/Silho. Silho did vote Insanity briefly yesterday, and tbh that concerns me a little bit more than him not voting at all. It seems more performative in retrospect, with him taking the opportunity to vote a villager over their partner as soon as Araris gave them an out. @Araris Valerian in case you don't see this edit, I would prefer Insanity myself if only to prove my innocence, but understand if you don't want to take that risk for me and would be willing to vote any player you believe could be my partner. ED2T: (1) Insanity: Araris,
  12. Exactly. If e!me wanted v!Insanity killed, roleblocking Insanity or killing you would have been the call. Only e!Insanity benefits from using Tension on you. (Or, I suppose, v!Insanity would in an e!Tani world, in which case she votes Elkanah yesterday and leaves me alive to drive the Insanity votes today) I do have a question. Who do you think I could be teamed with at this point? Bonus points if they could also be teamed with Insanity. Do you still think Silho is a guarantee since Elkanah was village? As I said, I think Insanity/Silho makes the most sense as a team, although Insanity/Tani could work too. Reason I ask is because I don't want to kill discussion dog-piling Insanity either and if you genuinely harbor suspicions of me, it's possible we could reach a middle ground too.
  13. That feeling is also mutual (although I have no idea how you being an elim makes you incompetent. You've been hard-cleared by everyone until this point). I had no reason to vote with you on Chantara. There were other votes in the lead when I came in but I pressed Chantara instead. You say my D5 play was constrained, but how? Because of JNV's claim? Because they got Illwei's blade while the Shaman was still alive? Chantara wasn't even a viable yeet when I got involved and I could have done several things to help her wiggle out of the noose. What happened to yesterday when you said "One of Elkanah and Silho must be an elim" and then drove the misyeet on Elkanah? That means Silho is an elim, right? You say I'm not being consistent with my past self when I very much am and you're not being consistent with your past self? I don't get it. Especially since you're not even acknowledging all of my points while pushing this. Why would e!Me push the one player that just about guarantees I'm an elim before Elkanah? Why would I not just let us waste the entire day dog-piling Elkanah? Doing so would have forced me to spend all of today defending myself while attempting to come up with another misyeet in the meantime. If I'm an elim and Insanity is village, why would I let Insanity prove they didn't put in the night kill?
  14. How does it not make sense for e!Insanity? Team of Insanity, Silho, Turtle. They use Ishar and Kalak vote manipulation to get me removed D6 after gunning for Insanity. N7 they kill whoever, it doesn't matter. D8 they have all the vote manipulation and smoking Blades so they dominate the vote again. Team of Insanity, Araris, Turtle. Or maybe just Insanity and you. Insanity is not super communicative in doc and they reflex vote for me. You have to reel them in by literally @ing them in thread to get them to switch to Elkanah, since you're the one consistently trying to save them. This works in a v!Tani world too, because the elims get a limited number of Chanarch kills + village has two protects and you, the only person left alive to confirm whether or not Ishar's blade exists, fake clears Insanity today by saying they used Tension on you. Quote from the rules: Ishar's blade was never mentioned once until you said that Insanity had it. There has been no Adhesion this game (Soothes) and no one else has received any Stormlight from Tension. The feeling is mutual, so Araris
  15. Sure. Call it conf bias then. I can't fathom v!Insanity voting me over Elkanah after I picked apart Chantara D5. It's just another drop in the bucket.
  16. That's part of the issue with being the one that's generally considered to be clear you're a non-factor, reducing the pool of Bladed suspects to two, whereas you have to juggle myself, Insanity, and Tani. Honestly Tani's biggest thing going for her in my mind is forgetting that JNV died yesterday. Insanity has... voting for me yesterday when the votes were close enough for vote manip to get me killed. Not a good look. You have to exercise paranoia of me, and I get it. I'm starting to get paranoid about you for saving Insanity yesterday and now this pushback. But I guess let me try putting it this way. Let's say I'm an elim, Insanity is a villager, and instead of Elkanah getting voted out yesterday, I get what I want and Insanity is gone. What happens next? You know that either Tani or me are an elim, and I just got village Ishar killed. At that point, I'm as good as dead, no?
  17. It's the same reason I pushed Insanity over Elkanah D6. I don't believe the elims started with a single Honorblade (Shallash). That means there's an elim between Insanity and Tani (+me for the rest of you). I feel good about Tani for several reasons while Insanity is just... around. And flipping e!Insanity clears me, so I have an incentive to get them out versus Silho, who I have no hard mechanical evidence for. Another thing is, if Insanity was Village, why would the elims not just roleblock them to implicate them further? The fact that Insanity actually followed through with it seems more like it was an attempt to buy them time. I don't exactly understand this question. You mean why did the elims kill Archer instead of Tani last night? In which case, either because Tani is an elim or because they knew she had a protect and could work around it with Kalak while Archer had more thread presence / was more of an unknown. Insanity is confirmed elim based on the info I have. Why would I gamble on Silho when Insanity could be teamed with either Silho, Turtle/Cinnamon, Tani, or you?
