I do get informed if my Yellow Card succeeded or not, so I could call you out in thread / send you a second anyway. That said, for anyone doubting the World Cup fitting in with the SE Meta game, you should consider who the GM is, and who I am while yes, I have been known to create fake roles in past games with Secrets, usually for an elaborate gambit, I'd ask you all to consider if I would fake a "World Cup" role and, as pointed out, spew a bunch of fake roles with it. Surely if I wanted a fake role claim to work, I'd make it as believable as possible. Not random. Hence I'm being honest, though I haven't revealed everything about my role. Just the bits that give hints for the distro

World Cuppers receive warnings, non-World Cuppers receive nothing. So if you're a World Cupper you could confirm my role D2. If you're not then I'll need to find someone else to verify.

FTR I like your arguments and have been tempted to sheep, but I'd rather Yellow Card Stick tonight since I think she's a World Cupper could be an opportunity for me to prove my role too. Based on what Kas/Fifth would answer, every role might not be in the game. My theory right now is Midfielder's are glorified Vanillas and there's like 4-5 of them to make my win con harder, 0-1 Captain, 2 Goalkeepers, and 0-2 Strikers. Goalkeepers probably a Lurcher variant, Strikers probably a Coinshot variant. My Captain theory is they have a list of all World Cuppers and their roles, probably including me.

Kas crafted my role well, agreed there but my Neutral philosophy is to be as transparent as possible from the get-go, even if I lose for it. Doubly so in a game where we know next to nothing

I don't know if I agree, only because there's no guarantee we'll have any idea what alignments we've removed by D5 and who to execute from there because of lack of flips, which is very different than normal games. We will need an influx of information somehow to help us solve. Not exactly saying mass claiming is the way, but it's a way to get out of an information vacuum Either way, I prefer D1 just having a couple early volunteers like myself, if anyone feels revealing info they know will benefit the village more than cost them individually. World Cuppers should remain anonymous since I already got that info out. I'm not really eager to kill anyone tbh, so will likely be only giving yellow cards to World Cuppers I suspect ED1T: Are you also claiming Neutral btw?

Theoretically, it's also the village's optimal way to get distro info without any foreseeable role flips in the future. I know this strat doesn't really work for our usual games, if maybe because we consider it antifun, but complete blackouts are a very different beast. Plus, of course, players are free to lie, so there's room for villagers misleading elims and gambits. All I will say on this matter is I personally decided more info in the thread is better than less info in thread and shared (most) of what my role has told me to help. I definitely wouldn't turn down any other volunteers

Oh, to clarify, Referee is Neutral but I'm pretty sure the other World Cup roles can be either Village or Elim, based on my role's flavor. Naturally though if the elims want to send me a few World Cup sacrifices in PMs, I would be willing to work in their interests, or at the very least, not work against their interests by going pure neutral What Stick said TBH I'm down for a D1 mass claim. 2 red cards on the same role = my removal. So theoretically, by D9, I could remove one each of Captain, Goalkeeper, Midfielder, and Striker and still be in the game. Or I could hit two Midfielders by D5 and get removed without victory. I need 2 unique world cup roles removed to hit my win con, anything after that is an unnecessary risk tbh. Nope I'll still count as Neutral too, but I could theoretically pick a side after my victory is assured.

Also worth mentioning that if I ever give a Red Card to the same role twice (two Goalkeepers, for example), I'm ejected from the game with the second Goalkeeper. If I win before that, great. If I don't, RIP me.

Eh storm it. I'm going to fully claim. I'm a Neutral role, Referee, which has a few juicy information bits that I can't resist spilling into thread. I don't really think a Flipless game is the best time for us to practice complete opsec, and I do have a bit of a martyr's complex, so Anyway, what I know: There is a mechanic called Trolling in the game, which I am immune to. I unfortunately don't know how it works, Kas wouldn't give up much. All I know for sure is it requires a player to submit a night action. Question on my mind rn is if it's an any alignment role thing or if it's an elim thing. For any Trolls out there, if you decide to test my immunity by Trolling me tonight, I wouldn't blame you I think Kas implied there's a fun interaction that I wouldn't mind seeing My personal Win Condition involves successfully giving two Yellow Cards to two unique "World Cup" roles. I'm aware of Captain, Goalkeeper, Midfielder, and Striker from this. Two Yellow Cards, of course, means a Red Card, which results in that player's prompt removal from the game This only works on "World Cup" roles tho, so I will fail to give a Yellow Card to any other type of role, which tells me they're not a World Cupper. So yeah. Technically I'm kinda a pseudo-SK. Can only theoretically kill every 2 cycles, assuming I'm lucky with the first Card, and only a very specific microcosm of players, but it is what it is. I prefer the more charitable Referee flavor, where I'm just here attempting to keep this fine game of football going smoothly for all our enjoyment

That or someone just didn't realize they haven't logged their AN account off their mobile lol Parity would mean Eliminators win when they have the same number as SE Players. Overparity, or in this case, "outnumbering," means they need one more successful kill after parity. Neutrals (which I can confirm exist) don't fall under the SE Player category (which I can also confirm). So I believe that's what Stick is getting at.
