  1. Heartsleeve looked up, shocked. No one but an epic would talk to her like that if they knew who she was. Instinctively, she tried to calm the assailant. With dangerous people like this, she couldn't afford to be obvious. As she leaned on his emotions, she felt a resistance. Shoot. This was an epic. Likely a high epic, based on his words. Panic overwhelmed her. She silently went through everything that she was doing. Pedestrians were allowed on the sidewalks, her clothing was fine, if a bit fancy, and she wasn't doing anything except looking at a poster. "I'm sorry, but what is the matter? It's not against the law to pick up a piece of paper, is it?" She cursed herself as she heard the sarcastic words flow from her mouth. Being humble had never been her strong suit. Cringing, she awaited the verbal retaliation guaranteed to come.
  2. It just got Spook. In about 13 questions. Edit: It must look at your browser history or something, because it just guessed Pattern. Unfortunately for Akinator, I'm thinking of Stick. It never got it.
  3. Just because the general consensus is to lynch them doesn't mean that they're an eliminator or that they deserve to die. Quite often, they're not guilty. By having a Mistborn vote, we simply make it easier for the Mistborn to be killed, which is one of the more valuable roles the village has.
  4. I didn't have a whole lot of time to post before, so here are my concerns with the Mistborn vote. If we openly say who should be killed, it makes it a lot easier for the eliminators to find out who the Mistborn is if the kill ever deviates from the vote. If, for example, the Mistborn vote is on Honey Badger, and someone else is killed, that tells us that the Mistborn doesn't think that Badger is suspicious. With enough deviations, it would make it quite easy for the eliminators to deduce who the Mistborn is and kill them. Sure, there's the possibility that there is an eliminator Mistborn, but I doubt the GM would give them two kills. Therefore, these votes only really help the eliminators. If this were to work, the Mistborn must follow each vote without exception. If this is the case, the only situation where the Mistborn couldn't follow through would be killing themselves. This only makes matters worse.
  5. Oh, I completely forgot. National Treasure would be fun. I actually didn't like How to Train Your Dragon 2. The original was very different from the books, but did it well. The second one just felt very cliche, but that didn't stop me from tearing up at some parts. The thing I hated most was the very poorly constructed villain. It totally makes sense that he can control dragons by waving a pole around and shouting, right? Ranting aside, it was okay, I guess, but I honestly prefer the original. How about Pirates of the Caribbean?
  6. Awesome Aon. 9/10
  7. You get a Gemheart! *inserts Soonie Cub*
  8. I have the general land masses sketched out already, as well as the starting town, but I could still use some advice as far as the magic system goes, and perhaps other towns.
  9. You get directions to several memes with space backgrounds! *inserts plea for upvotes*
  10. That would be very helpful. I'm not exactly to that point yet, but I will let you know.
  11. Well, I'm in, at the very least.
  12. So, in my french class, we have "un chanson de la semaine," (a song of the week), and this week's song is very entertaining, even if you don't know French. I present to you, Moustache. For those of you who don't know French, it talks about this person who has everything any one could dream of... except a mustache.
  13. I don't think we have too many, you're welcome to join! We could start off with 10 and Rose on Scadrial, and maybe do some different ones later. (or even at the same time in two different threads, if you're up for that)
  14. Treasure Planet sounds good. For some reason I always associate it with Atlantis, but I suppose that's just me...
  15. I still don't understand your argument against me, Creccio. Your reasoning solely on what role I have seems flawed, and assumes that the GM purposefully picked what roles everyone had. Is it not equally possible that they were handed out randomly? I feel like the skaa at the moment are trying to kill discussion. Think about it: Stink was one of the more active players, and he gets killed. Before that, Clanky, one of the few players doing analysis, was killed. DeathClutch before that, and you get the idea. They're trying to kill activity so that they can effectively swoop in and take the lynch. Now, you're trying to lynch one of the few active people left. It is not silly to try and eliminate suspicious inactives when the eliminators are doing the opposite. Throughout most of the game, you seemed pretty innocent. Now... with the goal in sight, have you just dropped pretenses? We can't simply lynch on roles, but behavior as well. And your behavior seems off to me. And phatt, you seem really quick to jump on to Creccio's reasoning, which is never a good sign. Jumping on to someone else's reasoning without any proof of your own seems like a good way to lurk without attracting suspicion for inactivity. EDIT: I suppose it is hard with what little info we have, but I would at least like to know why you are agreeing with Creccio.
  16. Look, we're starting to get to the point where we don't have many villagers left. We can't afford to kill everyone. That's basically the goal of the skaa. It's also not my fault what metal I have. They're randomly given, and just because a skaa could profit from it more than the village does not mean that anyone who has it is a skaa.
