  1. @Hero, I was completely joking. It's too bad STINK was innocent, but if they could get it right half the time I would be ecstatic. That part of the post I was just mimicking my first post about the assassin after Night 2 cause I thought it'd be funny.
  2. Wow. Worst case scenario. What's wrong with you assassin? (I'm just kidding assassin, so far you're better than all of us put together. ) So I haven't figured out the night vote yet, but I guess that means it was a tie? Hmmmm. I'm gonna have to look over everything again before I vote. Edit: Ok, I looked at the rules and it says if it is a tie no vote will be placed.
  3. I must say I'm having trouble getting very much information from the lynch right now. As Wilson said, I'm not very suspicious of any of them(the voters) so far. I agree with Shallan about watching out for bandwagoning early on in the cycle as that seems like it would slow down discussion. So I think that Feligon and Venture are the most suspicous to me as they were the 3rd and 4th votes. Although Winter said she thought she had voted for Mailliw too, so she could fall in that same category for me too. But, again, none of their actions seem overly suspicious to me. Edit: clarification....(the voters)
  4. I think I should mention that in QF9(which was Ventures first game), all he ever did was one sentence voting and he turned out to be innocent. I'm not defending him, as I really wish he would post more of his thoughts, but I did want you all to be aware as this is how he's played so far. Edit: I will hold off on voting as I think it would be best to leave the votes within two.
  5. Ok. I think you're probably right. I was just trying to think of a way for the Ardent to reveal info without getting killed or corrupted early on. I wasn't sure if it could work when I posted it, but I thought I would post it anyways to get other peoples opinions. So, thanks for killing my plan........I guess. Edit: Alvom, we were just discussing that an eliminator could just pose as an Ardent, so Kipper being trustworthy doesn't mean that whoever gives him info would be.
  6. It seems like it's going to be hard to trust the Ardent information later on anyways as they will have a higher chance to be corrupted and if they are corrupted there is no way to tell if it is just for one day or for the rest of the game.
  7. Wouldn't it be really dangerous for an eliminator to do that? If we killed the person the supposed Ardent told us was an eliminator and they turned out to be innocent, that would almost confirm them to be an eliminator. The only way for them to be innocent would be if they were corrupted, and at this point in the game it's more likely that they are not.
  8. @Winter, it doesn't seem likely the eliminators would have an Ardent as they already know who is innocent and who is guilty. I thought they might have one if it reveal the persons role as well, but it doesn't say the Ardent reveals role and alignment, is just says it reveal the targets alignment. Edit: Thanks Ren, I was just about to ask that.
  9. Here is a plan I thought could work. This is based on me hoping the Ardent has someone they can trust. 1.Ardent scans target. 2. Ardent sends message to trusted ally.(maybe they could code it in case of couriers spying) 3. Ally then posts what the Ardent has found. 4. Assassin or lynch kills target/Guardsman protects target. I thought this way only the ally of the Ardent would really be risking anything and there would not have to be major role reveals. Also, if we did this plan, it might be a better idea for the Guardsman to protect the ally instead of the innocent target so we could keep it going.
  10. Wow! Best case scenario. Good work assassin! @Stink, if anyone knows their corrupt they shouldn't say because that would be revealing that they have a role. Multiple people have already said not to reveal role info so why even ask? Edit: I read through what people said about role reveals and its not like they said "not" to, but that you should be careful and only do it for a very good reason.
  11. Owain sat at a table listening to the discussion about the execution and what it could mean. He heard his name come up a few times, "maybe I'm finally getting some recognition among the higher ranks!" he thought as the discussion continued. He shuddered after he realized why his name was being spoken. "This is not the kind of attention I was hoping for when I came here" he mumbled quietly to himself. Well I thought I would elaborate on my reasoning for voting for Phattemer(sorry by the way ), since multiple people have stated suspicion of me. 1. I thought it would be better to lynch an inactive more than an active as I didn't really have much suspicion on any of the actives(at least not enough to lynch them). 2. Phat seemed like a good enough target because I thought he was usually a little more active than the other inactives(although I'm not sure about this). 3. At the time of my vote I thought it would be good to put some distance in between the topmost targets so the Worldsingers wouldn't mess with them(I realize this was probably a mistake because if a Worldsinger had messed with the votes it might have given us more information than the sure lynch).
  12. This is basically why I joined this site. I love finding out these awesome connections that I never saw or thought about. If that really is TLR's flute then Hoid must be crazy mad at Kaladin right now! Thinking about things like this makes me so excited to read Hoid's story. I know it's still a long way off, but I also know there is going to be a lot of awesomeness between now and then!
  13. I can't decide what to think about a D1 lynch. In my first game, QF9, we did a Day 1 lynch and killed an eliminator. But in that game there weren't any roles so the only way to get information was from the lynches and we had no risk of killing an important role. I think I'm leaning more towards not lynching anyone today because, as Adamir said we only have about a 25 percent chance to kill an eliminator, and we could end up killing an innocent with a good role. I don't think I'm going to vote for anyone today as I have no suspicions and not a lot of information to go off of. Cleo was kinda making me nervous sharpening her daggers earlier but she seems to have put them away for now. Edit: changed "knives" to "daggers" just because.
  14. Owain watched the messenger as he walked away. An invitation from the Blackthorn himself. He was not sure what to think. Of course he had no choice but to attend. And yet, why would he refuse? This was as grand an opportunity as he could have hoped for! Even accounting for the rumors of Dalinar Kholin's supposed weakness of late, he was still the most influential Highprince in all of Alethkar. "If I can make an ally of him, surely I can make a name for myself in no time!" he thought as he quickly began to prepare for the feast. Backstory: Owain is a lighteyes from a small town who came to the Shattered plains to win glory and prestige for himself and his family.
  15. I really had fun playing this even though I lynched a lot of innocent people and basically lost the game for us at the very end, which I feel very bad for. I hope the innocent people I lynched are not too upset at me as all I did was kill you....... Raven: I too thought it was extremely difficult to keep my posts as neutral as possible. I think it would be a very good idea to keep notes as sometimes when I was going to accuse someone I would forget some of my reasons and thoughts and that would weaken my case against them as happened in my accusation of Wyrm in the last cycle.
  16. Wow Phattemer that was amazing. I can't say I understand how you figured it out, but I salute you nonetheless. Wyrm, I really wish we could've lynched you. But, I must say good work Rebels as you had me baffled for most of the game.
