In any n-dimensional space with more than two dimensions, non-paralels of the dimension n-2 or fewer do not have to intersect. I have no idea how many dimensions this strange place around has (not less than 3.5), but all the alleys have the dimension 1, so even if they are both tangents and not paralel, they don't have to cross each other.
-
I don't think that anything can intersect the roundabout, or its whole idea will be neglectected.
-
The illumination depends on your exact location (that is a little bit hard to determine, because there are neither starting nor ending points) and on your subjective expectation. Also, the roundabout has no "center", lacking a definition of one, so you can't put a lamp in it. If you put a lamp inside the roundabout, it can be within or without reach of different point on the roundabout and most likely will fall in one alley, non-alley or semi-alley, probably lighting it brighter than appropriate.

Most likely is the result of a doublekill. Followed by a teamup. After that it gets complicated. After some careful consideration i actually vote for Kelsier, because he managed to defeat Death once or twice.

I guess the highway can lie above or below (or both) the roundabout. Or being a tangent. Or probably neither. It's hard to explain a place that is infite and finite at the same time. During my latest exploration of the roundabout I discovered a point that is not a point on the roundabout from where you have a perfectly look on a chasm in the shattered plains. Unluckily, the only thing to see is a boringspren.

But doesn't seppuku involved a cut stommach? How do you devour the sandwiches? Anyway, as far as I understand the roundabout physics, any possible, impossible or semi-possible alley has to pass through its middle, unreachable.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Alfa replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
When you start thinking in which Radiant Order people you know would end. -
Of course that provides us a way to confuse or upset sharders: for example, you can talk of -Alloy of Kings -Shadows of Radiance -The Way of the Dusk -Sixth of Ascension -Words of Ages -The hero of Law -The Bands of Kings and many more confusing combinations. In the end we're all so confused, we land at The roundabout.
-
Ehm, Winter, is everything right in your head? You know, multiple voices and stuff... Alfa? Yes? You just asked if somebody's allright in her head? Yes. You are at the roundabout. Yes...? Probably it was a wrong question to ask. You know, if somebody ends up here...

My money is on Vin. She managed to kill one almost unkillable guy (TLR).

I think breeze was actually a savant. He even managed to sooth people during the battle of lutadel, while he was in a traumatic shock. Also he soothed people halfway unconciously most of the time.

All the alleys, higways and anything else have a shared flaw that has nothing to do with illumination. They are going from A to B. That seems not right to me. I found the solution. A roundabout goes from A to A and does not have an end in the classical meaning of the word. Swear the oaths and come to the roundabout: I will walk in circles. I will talk in circles. There are no beginnigs nor endings in the roundabout.

Sounds like a enormously powerful artifact. Basically it makes a seeker with enormous knowledge of you, if I understand it correctly.

I tell you a secret: Wayne is actually a Smedry. His talent is, that logic does not work on him. Because it would be logical for Grandpa Smedry to win, Wayne wins.

Valid point.

Submitted a 6-page-homework about the TTIP yesterday. Actually, one of the deepest fears in europe, that with TTIP we'll start to import american chicken, which were washed in chlor-water. Appartently they fear chlor more than they fear salmonella, and that seems odd to me.

On Shards: for me their amount is growing increasingly. In TWoK shard seemed to be extremely rare. At the time of WoR Elhokar has I think at least three sets of personal shards, and much more are mentioned. Also it always seemed odd to me, that Sadeas had only one shardplate in his whole princedom before Amaram and Dalinar's payment. Wouldn't it be logical for him to get Shards from anywhere during Gavilar's conquest?

Really, Stink, your actions don't make much sense for me. First you vote for Creccio without explanation, then for Ripple, because Ripple went suspicious. Looks a little bit like a skaa in panic for me. Kipper, I am interested in trade. As I said before, I am a pewterarm. Can anybody make a vote tally?

For ~4 years now I am writing a fantasy novel, with the working title "Beyond the worlds". I want to give you a short introduction to it. The plot is about a world, called "Borderworld", around the year 4000, where "magic" was invented through unexplained technology. Other worlds - including our earth - don't have this magic. This magic works based on emotion; there are eight so-called "principles": Love, Anger, Wish, Fear, Joy, Pain, Mind and Will. Each has it's own properties and functions, even an associated colour. Abround 700 years before the main plot, another world tried to invade the Borderworld and was defeated in a very bloody war, called the "Invasion War", by an alliance, led by eight fighters, representors of the eight principles, called "The Guard". The Guard went after defeating the Invasors, and was never since called in. Now, a new crisis for the Borderworld is rising - what it is, is not known yet, but some believe a second invasion war is coming - and a few people are pulled into it, if they want it or not. Darizan, a man born in the Borderworld, but evacuated during the destruction of his hometown, now member of the most fearsome special unit of the Armed Forces of Terra. The three Zuzaneel-brothers, three monks of the Borderworld, dealing with prophecies they don't understand. Ark dóVan, a policeman in the murder-comission in Dó Arrag, a country in the Borderworld, wanting to avenge the unsolved death of his girlfriend. Itrai, the Queen of Thieves, who had forged a temporary alliance wit dóVan, since both are hunting a guy called "the Fallen". The mercenary Juhh and his company, including the young knight Hagsun, sent on a mission without explanation, what to do or why. Osnira, a young woman working as a spy and murderer for a dubious organisation. Noadix, a priest in the church of Lelen. She and two professional assassins were sent to settle war preparations with a rivalizing country in a bloody way. And Na'Miruyi. A woman who awoken without memories, believed to be a daughter of a godess. Unfortunately, I am writing in German. If somebody's interested, I can post them here or send them via PM; an english translation, even if possible, is unlikely to be made by me.
