  1. Probably the instruments are played with the pouch of the safehand over them, so you can use your hand without showing it. That is alittle bit difficult, because the cloth might change the tune, but with the right design (of instrument as well as the safehand-pouch) it is possible.
  2. Actually, I want to speak in Shallan's defense - which does not mean that she is innocent. She can be guilty as anybody else, and I hope you don't get this post for confirmation I am in the trator team if after her dead it would be discovered she is a traiotr. Of course her post doesn't tell very much, but it is still not exactly "nothing", and there are actual some good (Elantrian) and some bad adwises in it (for example I think Mistborn shall kill on their own suspicion and not simply the almost-lynched - their choice is as good as anybody elses). Also it's relatively difficult to say something actually relevant in cycle 1, on a non "everpresent" topic like the HI-loyality problem. NOTE: While I am writing this I got ninja'd multiple times and do not know what is standing in the 4 posts above yet. EDIT: One of the posts was that of the turnover.
  3. You get harmonized. *Inserts fifth ideal of the Dustbringers*
  4. so far every second vote is for dalinar...
  5. You get another accusation that this is suspicious, followed by an excuse (I misunderstood sleep for murder) *Inserts Sanderson Elimination*
  6. A.L.F.A. stared at Gylf with eyes, that were wide as the purelake was before it dried out a century ago or so, "You call this a godbeyonddamned joke? Really, if you call this a joke, you could be the joker" EDIT: "She's talking about the guy who voted for the Captain", said somebody. "Ouch. Sorry, Gylf." His bad memory would kill him one day "I am sorry. I was thought you meant the murdered guy was a cruel joke... that would be indeed very suspicious" For some reason I thought, that Cor Mordero was the HI. Cursing at himself because of his own sillyness, he looked around. Somehow everybody looked suspicious. "Well... i think I'll wait a while before i say anything silly again"
  7. Kelsier, but only by a hair.

    Alleymatics

You're right. Hereby I, Alfa, ask for for entrance to one, more or all alleys.
  9. Dalinar, by sheer badchulity, bondsmithity and blackthornity.
  10. I think I'll change my name to "Adonalsium's Last Futile Apprentice" (A.L.F.A.), if possible. Can a forger forge anybody into "no role"? What happens two turns after the last loyal hemalurgist is forged when the soulstamp dissolves? Does the HI turn back to team good? EDIT: Clarified.
  11. Vin bet Susebron. Vin beats Vasher.
  12. I was busy with university the last days and could not was to lazy to check the thread. As it is, since everybody knows that I am a pewterarm, so it is a little bit difficult to provoke the Skaa to target me. Was not thinking much about it at the moment I told that. Also, Creccio, I want an explanation of your vote for me.

    Alleymatics

The roundabout is at least four dimensional in its expansion and is a "cage", having no points of exit or entrance. It has the appearance of an endless, slightly curved street, bordered by the alleymatic void, if you look at it from one perspective. If you look at it from another perspective you only see circes. From still other perspectives you risk your sanity by just thinking about it. Does this help?

You're right: Another question to specify is: Are the Dark Alley's cookies harmless or dangerous?
  15. In one thread, called "The roundabout" by some, a thread yet to open, a thread long closed, a question arose in the 33rd post. The question was not the beginning. There are neither beginnings nor endings at the roundabout. But it was a beginning. The question was, how all the alleys, the highway and the roundabout are related and structured in the Alleyverse. Here is an almost futile attempt to detail that question and tryy to answer it. What do we know yet (list incomplete): Each alley is somehow crossed by the highway. Nothing can cross the roundabout. All the alleys pass throw the "middle" of the roundabout. The alleys do not cross each other. The highway can be "inside" or "outside" the roundabout. Each alley has an illumination attribute. The illumination of the highway is indeterminable. The illumination of the roundabout depends on expectation and position. What we do not know yet (list absolutely incomplete): How many dimensions are there in the Alleyverse? Are there any other forms of "objects" in the Alleyverse except alleys, a highway and a roundabout? Is the number of actual and possible objects finite or infinite? If it is finite, how can we determine it? Is there a perfect piece of cheese.cake in the Alleyverse? What we have to specify (incomplete list): What is an alley? How it is structured? Same question about the highway. Same question about the roundabout.
  16. An alleymatics thread? It will be done. EDIT: It was done.
  17. Whatever. 42 wins.
  18. You get a slightly different universe. THis universe lacks not only cheese, but also the word for cheese and even the very idea of cheese. *Inserts protest note against usage of the roundabout as punishment*
  19. Wayne Randomness beats badchullity.
  20. That seems complicated. A possible explanation is that H=AV\R, where H is the highway, AV the alleyverse and R the roundabout. That does not explain everything but a lot of it. I am not sure this explanation will apply in all of the alleys or at all points of the roundabout. Logic is... not constant here.
