Ok, so my wife is getting me the Star Wars: TOR game for Christmas. I am curious if anyone else will be playing. I would like to have a few friends in the new game. The thread is breaking the rules, b/c Star Wars is obviously not fantasy.

The way I see the ChayShan magic, I compare it to martial arts. When you first begin, it is all about getting your forms right. You are practicing how to move, how to stand. Forms is the only word I can use because it is about how you move the entire body. And that is the easiest way I can think to describe that one. So glad I just finished my reread of Elantris! It was a lot better the second time around.

It was meant to be a speculation put into ketek. I think that the ketek style will be brought back to reveal more in-world mysteries similar to the way Navani's notes that gave us a look into fabrials. I know that there is a thread for the creation of keteks, but thought it would go here for what I intended. I deleted the post.

Old topic, but reading through and had an idea... What if it was categorized like this - (person's name) holder of (shard name) ex. Ati bound to the shard Ruin. The "holder of" or "bound to" part could be changed to more canon or agreeable wording. It would be easy then to put a link to the person name and shard name. together and separate reference to the same thing. I hope this makes sense.

Hello to the 17th sharders. I am a huge fan of Brandon's and the Cosmere in general. I am an Air Traffic Controller and a bookworm. My preferred literary genres are 1. Brandon Sanderson 2. Other Fantasy 3. History(American Civil War mostly). I have been a stalker for a long time. I finally put away the peeping tom binoc's and decided to put my thoughts out there. All I can hope for is to be able to produce food for thought like many of the theories have for me. Nice to meet everyone and thanks for all the posts on my already posted theories.

IMO, the "Soothing Dens" are a reference to TFE - Mistborn 1. I don't have the quote, but the Lord Ruler had "Soothing Stations" to keep the Skaa from uprising. I think this is a nod to the previous books. In an interview, Brandon said that there would be tidbits for the Trilogy readers. I believe this is another example. You do make an interesting point, however. Brandon does have underworld elements in some of his books, which give realism. It could be... twin-gold prostitutes would never get VD.

I don't know if anyone can answer, but is the TV series going to be "in cosmere"?
