I found Hoid!! Not sure if this has been posted before, but he appears on page 129 (of the kindle edition at least) as- wait for it- A COACHMAN!!!
  2. ^ ditto. Action 3: Buy a Training Yard Why: So I can get a better army Where: Luthadel
  3. Public Action 3: Upgrade my Slaughterhouse Why: So I can get more money
  4. Action 3: I am showing off my military to my House to increase my House Rep. They are doing drills and other maneuvers.
  5. Hello. I am probably not going to vote today, but I will try to do so every day from now on. As for my opinion on the HI: I am fairly certain they would start on our side. We don't have any way to make sure, since our Kandra are probably better off actually scanning people, and no other role can detect alignment. I don't really believe we need to have the Hemalurgists contact the HI. Although Deathclutch probably wouldn't arrange to have them killed(probably=definitely in SE), it isn't a risk we need to take what with all the ways it could go wrong. (Eliminator Hemalurgist, Fake Eliminator Hemalurgist, 2 is still a lot.) I guess, since nobody else has done this, I will give my thoughts on what the roles should do: HI: I guess just find players' roles. Not the most useful role, to be honest. Possibly could target almost lynched people, and if they are useful then get them not lynched. But they could still be an Eliminator. Voidbringer: ...I don't think I need to discuss this. Surgebinder: Don't die, but also use the message in the write-up well. Could be used for confirmation should you ever need to role-claim(don't), but also an anonymous message could be good. Elantrian: Probably just target yourselves until you find a Kandra or another extremely valuable role. Forger: Once roles are available, if they're useful then spread them out. Try to pick someone you trust, but also watch out for overwriting an important role (for 2 cycles). Feruchemist: Right now, we want to know if there are any Traitor Feruchemists, so please don't use your power. Mistborn: The rules don't actually say you can kill, so just chill. Actually, maybe people that the lynch almost hits. Kandra: Alignment alignment alignment. Already been mentioned. BioChromancer: I don't know. People the lynch misses? Hemalurgist: Don't die if you're loyal, and I don't think you should contact the HI.
  6. Public Action 1: marry my second child, Coanti, to an NPC into my family.
  7. Action 3:(public) My military is going to expand the final empire as far as possible in the southern islands.
  8. Hi! Welcome to 17th Shard! I don't think I'm quite qualified to give the usual spiel, so I'll refrain. I look forward to slaughtering playing with you in SE!
  9. Well, I just read through the whole thread, and I must say, this is one of the most talkative and the most confusing first-day threads I have ever seen. So Joe had a plan, and then the plan turned out to be a mistake from the start, and besides that, new people are supposed to post, and also the Contribution Crusade is up and running(kind of). I must say, I am a bit surprised that I was never mentioned (hmph)even though I haven't said anything yet. That could be an attempt by Eliminators to push suspicion onto their teammates to ultimately make them seem trustworthy. Or it could be nothing.
  10. Public Action 2: Attempt to get the Inquisition to like me. Basically I am just going there and explaining that I am not going to do anything stupid, and that I would like to help them in any way I can.
  11. Public Action 2: Upgrading a Spy Network for 4 Wealth The benefits over the next generations will hopefully outweigh the immediate cost.
  12. Vinda Vinid sat in her study, scowling at the latest letter. Apparently yet another house was explaining why it had needed to vote her mother guilty. So far, only a few Houses had actually believed in their decision. To the rest, it was "a matter of politics" or "they couldn't afford to alienate their allies" or simply "I don't like you". Vonda didn't particularly care. She was old enough by now to realize that justice on the Final Empire was only just when the Lord Ruler of one of his own servants determined it. To the House Lords, 'justice' would be more aptly termed 'profit'. Executed. Publicly. Vinda had been forced to watch her mother's death. Although she had remained proud to the end, it had still not been a pretty sight. And now all her mother's responsibilities fell upon her head... Enough. She couldn't afford to be reminiscing while the matters at hand weren't yet completed. With a sigh, Vinda turned back to the next letter.
  13. Well, I'd just about completely agree with your analysis, Macen. Of course, that's mostly because it goes along with what I already thought. But actually, that's a good way of looking at it. Voting is the only public action, and it's probably the most important one too. Oh, Orlok just ninja'd me. Well, I think he puts just enough weight on me voting for Hero twice! ( ) I do see your point, Orlok, but I had voted for him at a time when he was not going to be lynched, and after my vote a lot of people got behind it. I'd agree that interactions are important are important, but utimately, the destination matters more than the journey. (So call me a Voidbinder) But anyway. I think the assassin is almost certainly on the village side, because otherwise the Conspirators could reveal themselves now and win, assuming they have 3. So this discussion should be geared toward finding a good target for the assassin.
  14. I don't know if I should switch to Bort. On the one hand, the WGG would have been perfect in that situation, but on the other, I don't know why exactly they would have done it. I suppose it could have worked, but I thought usually the WGG tried to get a trusted person, not just someone who won't be lynched for a while. But since my vote on Macen is doing no good, and since there could still be a Worldsinger who could get me lynched if they wanted to(and if Ven changed their color), I believe I should. Macen Bort
  15. Well, right now I'm being lynched, and I don't think that's a good idea. If I was an Eliminator, there would have been no reason for me to go after Hero after Seonid/Sart(?) backed off. Of course, that turns into an I-know-you-know too, but really, what doesn't? If we don't get the lynch right and the Assassin messes up, then we probably are dead. I think it'd be 4-3 then. Right now we have 10 people, probably 3 Eliminators. If we get rid of an Eliminator, even an inactive, it takes them longer to win. With that in mind, I'll vote for Macen, because he is fixated on me and I don't really see why. In fact, if I am lynched it will all be because of his votes at this point. Forgot to actually vote: Macen
  16. Glad to have you back, Feligon. Also, this is a night cycle to there's no lynch, Ven. As to the suspicions about Seonid and I: I don't really like how we're connected at this point. I'm fairly sure that Seonid is a villager because of Hero, but he is a good enough player to ne playing (haha) me and everyone else. I don't think I'd agree with a lynch on Seonid, and certainly not on myself, but also I don't think discussion during the night is a great idea unless people won't be on during the day. Saying who we suspect just tells the Eliminators who to and who not to kill. If everyone can wait a bit, I'd like to see who they kill before determining who I suspect.
  17. Well, right now Venture is going to be lunched due to the night vote and my vote. I don't really think he is evil, with my only suspicion being his lurkiness, but we NEED this lynch. Assuming there is still an active Eliminator, and with 8? (can't see sigs right now due to mobile) people left, we have maybe 2 days until it's 2-2. I think that, while I don't like just agreeing with other people, I should vote for Gamma. Ven. I hope I'm making the right decision here. Of course, if Orlok decides to tie it then all these melodramatics will be pointless.
