  1. Uh, Seonid? What do you mean by one step forward? Our Ardent and probably the last Noble Guardsman are gone. What is good about this situation? Besides that, I'll put a semi-pole vote on (color=red)Orlok(/color). I don't think I've seen him on lately and at this point we need everyone active.
  2. Well, given the lynch train that got started, not as much as I had hoped. At this point, I'd encourage the Ardent to contact Clanky or someone else they trust so they can start publicizing their scan results, assuming they have not been corrupted/corrupt Artifabrian'd. Besides that, maybe the people who were the 4-5 votes? After 3-4 it was basically done, and people after that could have been trying to avoid suspicion.
  3. You appear to have your facts wrong, Lord Zerrung. Of course my forces were surrounding the city; they were there to protect it. Lord Tekiel can confirm that this is the case. As for the non-mediation of Erikell, given that J speak for the prosecution Inthiught it appropriate to include them and I as one unit. A less confusing pronoun would be 'us', which we will use from now on.
  4. You suggest much, Lord Izenry. It may be circumstantial, but I see no reason to drop all charges without the defendant saying a word. Without him denying any of the charges, we have no reason to drop them. As for the Entrapment; he sent a message to me first basically stating: "Want to destroy Tekiel together?" One last thing. Do you wish to act as Farrsolin et. al.'s defense? Are you speaking on their behalf? I fear it may not be such a wise decision, since it would associate you with them once they are found guilty. Are you merely an observer and a member of the jury, or do you have some personal stake in the outcome of the trial?
  5. This prosecution, led by Lord Cladent Vinid, seconded by Apollonus Erikell, does seek to prove the guilt of Lord and House Farrsolin on the counts of High Treason Against the Final Empire, Mutiny Against the Lord Ruler, Conspiring to Eliminate a Noble House, and Promoting the Rioting of Skaa, Conspiring to Blackmail a Noble House It seeks to prove the guilt of Lord and House Zerrung on the counts of High Treason Against the Final Empire, Mutiny Against the Lord Ruler, and Conspiring to Eliminate a Noble House. It seeks to prove the guilt of Lord and House Artorius on the counts of High Treason Against the Final Empire, Mutiny Against the Lord Ruler, and Conspiring to Eliminate a Noble House. It seeks to prove the guilt of Lord and House Orielle on the counts of High Treason Against the Final Empire, Mutiny Against the Lord Ruler, and Conspiring to Eliminate a Noble House. It will prove these accusations without a shadow of a doubt, and will nearly guarantee a unanimous 'guilty' vote. On the case of Lord Farrsolin. The prosecution introduces this evidence into the court: These messages were sent from Lord Farrsolin to Lord Erikell. Erikell, under my instructions, had been pretending to go along with the plot in order to gain more information for when the time came to end it. Given that they had planned to march on Fadrex City this year, the time was now. I hope this shows you the guilt of Lord Farrsolin. This is a civilized society, and he can, of course, defend himself against the accusations presented here. The prosecution rests.
  6. I am working on the prosecution, with a computer having been reached!

    1. Curious Anamaximder

      Curious Anamaximder

I am looking forward to it.

  7. No it was offtopic as in not about SE at all. I thought offtopic was still about SE, given the original post. ...so how 'bout those Memes of Radiance?
  8. Well that was extremely useful! I'd just like to mention that while PK did almost get Hero killed, it was good that he tried to break the tie, because a lot of the lunch info comes from the role Nd alignment of the lynchee. So good job PK even if it didn't work. Wait, maybe they're both eliminators and PK posted late on purpose.
  9. Did you know that in Brazil more cars run on ethanol than on gas? [/offtopic]
  10. It is rather amusing. And just so you know, I am not attacking you. A lawsuit is not the same thing as a battleground- especially if you aren't even the defendant. And those "scum backstabbers" you mentioned happen to be the Lord Ruler's army. Edit: Wrong place
  11. Yeah, thanks Clanky and Alvron and Lopen and Ren. I wasn't on at all this whole day(because I just joined a DnD group! ). Uh, Bort, did you mean to color Sart one way or another? It's just black text right now. But anyway, back to lynching. I don't think I've actually voted yet this game, so I will put my inaugural on Hero, because I don't understand how he could be so sure Sart was an Eliminator and then change his mind so quickly. Because he though Sart wouldn't have apologized for going after Kipper if he was a villager? That doesn't make sense. If he was so sure about Sart, then in the same situation he would have been equally sure about STINK, and since STINK was innocent I have no idea why Hero was so sure that Sart was an Eliminator. To sum up my derailed train of thought(heh bad pun like ren does), Hero was sure about Sart because of what Sart said. However, it was STINK who said it and STINK was a villager. Therefore Hero couldn't have been sure about Sart unless he knew Sart's alignment. Oh. I guess maybe Hero is an Ardent, and I just messed up. But if he were an Ardent, then he wouldn't have said he was mistaken! Oh, maybe he thought he was corrupted? ... so Hero is probably either an Eliminator or an sometimes-corrupted Ardent. Unfortunately if he's not an Eliminator I think I just gave him away assuming I am correct. But it's more likely that he'd be an Eliminator than an Ardent(especially one who is sometimes corrupted) so I'll just assume he's an Eliminator.
  12. Action 2: Send a missive to each House inviting them to go to the courthouse to observe an instance of the Lord Ruler's justice. Specifically, it reads: My Esteemed Lords and Ladies, Please come to the courthouse for an evening of fun and festivities. it has come to my attention that a certain House has committed a most grevious crime, that must be addressed immediately. I feel that should you be aware of the magnitude of this offense, you would be certain to be present. It is on behalf of the Lord Ruler, who will rule forever, that I have called this gathering. The Final Empire must be united as one, and internal conflicts, while they will always exist, should be kept to the mininum. I believe this verdict, whichever way it is decided, will provide a most excellent example as to the benefits of unity. Most Sincerely, Lord Cladent Vinid, General of the Lord Ruler's Boundless Forces
  13. So does this mean that you don't suspect Raven anymore? Personally, I'd have guessed that the eliminators have a higher shard-to-person ratio than the village not including Kipper so this would seem to be evidence for the pro double-lynch(is that a term?) side. Of course, maybe we want a different target so that we can get different discussion. I'm not entirely sure why Hero is so sure about Smart Guy since I just skimmed his post, but I promise that this time I will really go reread it. Here's some RP. Shallan stared at her screen, realizing that she was ninja'd TWICE. She read the post. Then the rage took her. 14. I probably won't vote yet. Although Raven could certainly be an Eliminator, I generally don't like to hop on trains until I'm guaranteed they won't crash. (unlike QF8) I'm reading through this day's thread again now. So the suspicions of Raven are based off of Wilson's analysis and her vote back in Day 1. I'm also noticing that before Adamir and Macen voted, Raven only had 2 votes. (yes Shallan 4-2=2) This train just feels a little contrived, and I also think that a lot of the time after a train has gotten started there isn't really a way to stop or derail it. (except back in day 1, but whatever) So I might vote for one of the people that were suspects before the Raventrain got started. Aaaaaaand I just got 'd by 4 people.
