In Steelheart, Abraham tells us that people will "fear Steelheart, Obliteration, and Night's Sorrow." We've seen Steelheart and Obliteration, but not Night's Sorrow. Who is this Epic? I was wondering if he would be in Calamity, maybe fighting the Reckoners at the Nighthawk foundry. Then I was like, wait a second. Night's Sorrow = NightHawk The Nighthawk foundry might even be run by Night's Sorrow! Wow...that is a looooooooooooooong summary. I must say I do not agree on your dislike of Elantris, I love all Sanderson. I should take a pledge or something... Anyway your 17th shard origin story is almost EXACTLY like mine. I noticed Hoid in Hero of Ages and in Way of Kings. In the dark of night and all that I looked him up. I opened about every tab on the page. "Cosmere", "Adonalsium", "Wordhopper", "Stormlight", etc. I did this until I knew all about cosmere and I hadn't finished Warbreaker or Elantris yet. I don't understand why you people hate Dilaf, other than him being evil and stuff... Out of all the Sanderson antaganists, he is probably my absolute favorite. I think Brandon wrote him better than any other. I love Kaladin's viewpoint chapters. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT STERIS?? Anyway, Eshonai and Vivenna are my least favorite characters. As of halfway through WoR, I don't like Adolin either.

Of course I know that. That is set in the worlds of Non-Cosmere.

This novel is a book I'm writing about what might happen if Adonalsium was put together again. On their Sixteenth birthday, people can go through Ascensions, which are essentially Brandon's magic systems. Sixteen months from their first Ascension people can go through their next, and so on. The first Ascension is Allomancy, the second Feruchemy, then AonDor, then Epic powers, etc. Unfortunately almost everybody who reaches the Fourth Ascension is incredibly evil as Epic power corrupts them. This causes a BIG problem for the Cosmere and the worlds of Non-Cosmere. 1/16th of people reach the 1st. 1/16 off that reach the 2nd. The final is going to be the 16th, which only one person possesses-a man called Gregor. (New Ascensions appear whenever Brandon writes about them. The Universe was fine until Reckoners...which is the end.)
