    In the Firefight prologue, Calamity rises and then, "the screaming began." Why would people be screaming? Wasn't there only epics a year after Calamity? And somewhere in Calamity (book) it is stated that "strange occurences" happened after Calamity. So what happened? I thought maybe there was earthquakes, or warping in space, or some other cataclysmic event.

    Feruchemy as lots of things could be used in everyday life, such as time manipulation, weight, mental speed, and healing. This was actually a very easy decision for me.
