Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Burnt Spaghetti replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I agree about trying to provoke more discussion, however, I still think it would be a better idea to lynch her now, but instead of everyone laying on the votes at the start of cycle, instead use their votes to poke other players and gain further information, and at the end of the cycle put the votes back on Wilson. The problem is at the moment people can just throw a vote on Wilson and leave it at that, but that commonly stunts all discussion cause why would you talk suspicions if you've already got a confirmation? But I don't think lynching her now will be necessarily be a big problem for discussion because we have already had multiple people point out other facts that have been discovered because of Wilson's reveal, such as the soft confirms and that Wilson appeared to draw attention away from BB. I think it's still worth lynching her ASAP since she's no doubt the kind of player who would be a prominent part of the eliminator doc discussion. So while lynching her now might not be as beneficial for crew discussion, it would probably help stunt the traitors discussion. It is a similar reason as to why they probably killed off Kas. As Arraenae brought up, Kas was a talkative/contributive/experienced player so was a prime target for eliminators, because they would want to stunt crew discussion. So I think if anything, that's a good reason to get rid of Wilson now and not later, because she too would be a talkative/contributive/experienced player for them. So I can see where you are coming from by proposing to not lynch her immediately, but I personally think it is in our best interests to lynch her ASAP. Does that make sense? People Actually Take Time Eating Red Nachos. Xylophones Nearly Interest Great Helpers To Bring Light Oranges Opened Dangerously. If Someone Hate's It Please Ignore Temperature. Haha I guess it has at times kinda turned into a competition to see who can come up with the longest Acronyms and to see who is up to take the challenge. I am certain that one day someone is going to post like a 200 word acronym. And someone else is going to be crazy enough to solve it :/ BUTDISCORD

I got nothing better to do so... I Really Expected A Lot Less Yielding Over Unbearably Ginormously Hard Tasks. Though, Organising Blatantly Exaggerations Doesn't Obstruct Investigators Notating Great Hardships. Ordinarily, My Expectations Wont Overcome Reality. Keeping Order Really Sometimes Leaves Everyone Extremely Pleasant In Narcotism. Getting Over Reeling Symptoms Only Means Easier To Hinder In Narcotics. Google Boosts Understanding Traits In Acronym Manufaction Just Understand Some Times, Overloading Notations Too Hard Easily Scares Even Vengeful Entertainers: NO! Try Easily Explainable Notations That Have Simpler, Happy, Acronyms. Really. Don't Blast Everyone Constantly. Acronyms Undertake Skill Especially When Hard. Yeild? Never Over Time. I had a dream that my best friend (who is super nice and wouldn't hurt a fly) was with me in this really big meeting of all my class mates and friends, expect then she turned psychopathic and chainsawed a massive tree down that landed on us all and killed almost all of us and then the survivors had to play a twisted game of 'never have I ever' where if you have done something that someone has said they hadn't, you have to cut one of your own fingers off. Once you lost all your fingers my friend would murder you. The creepiest thing is she made us unable to stop smiling while cutting off our fingers so that was super creepy. I wouldn't really call it a scary dream necessarily, because the entire time I was so confused as to what the heck was going on. I of course then typed it up in full and showed it to my friend who thought it was hilarious. ...I may have been mildly paranoid of her for the next few days.

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Burnt Spaghetti replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
*blinks* Well I've got some thinking to do. I will say that I am inclined to believe that the message on the wall was more likely to be a villager, but would also like to echo Kipper's request that Wilson is scanned (assuming she hasn't been scanned already, which is also likely cause it's Wilson, why wouldn't you scan her first, although I don't imagine the Kandra would want to reveal that in thread, cause if Wilson's evil, then that kandra is bound to be killed off, unless some kind soul protects them ) I know it's not that useful to pop in and say barely, but I need to gather my thoughts, but I did want to post the current vote tally and quick links, so I guess that's something... (Also Ripple: I actually squee'd when I read your post: I actually sung that song for a singing exam this year ) Current Vote Tally: Quick Links: Pre-game Day 1 Night 1 Edit: Fixing quicklinks- 1686 replies

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Burnt Spaghetti replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
If anyone is curious about what Kas is meaning in 2B, it was in reference to something I said in a pm discussion along the lines of: In a situation with trying to find if a Kandra was evil, if two people claimed Kandra; get them to check each other. If they both say the other is good, then great, both should be good (provided their not both evil which would not be fun for us if that happened). If they both claim the other's evil then we know that at least one is evil and that team evil has a confirmed Kandra and that it is one of those two players.- 1686 replies

So.... My brother, Haelbarde, knows that I've been eyeing the reckoner's rp for a while now (I used to be an extremely dedicated rp member on some forums I used to be on), but I haven't read Steelheart yet so I refrained from joining. He saw there was an Australia one (we're Australians) and then: Hael: *walks up to me* Behold, the key to the reckoner's rp *hands me Steelheart* He then told me about the Australia rp (which sounds awesome btw) So.... I might be reading that soon and might be considering joining in at some point

Long Game 15: ...The Shards Themselves...
Burnt Spaghetti replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
I had honestly forgotten about your suspicion list by the time I finished catching up on the thread so didn't think to reply. I personally just find it surprising that people can build up suspicions first cycle since we shouldn't have any information (well, except the eliminators, but I can just imagine they are going to be the ones most keen on lynching someone), and honestly I'm a bit surprised that one of the most talkative players atm is up for being lynched; sure being talkative means you're more likely to say something thag might sound suspicious and thus can draw accusations more but still, are we trying to cut all the discussion off as soon as possible? Traitor or not, talkative people.arestill useful for discussion. I just personally wouldn't have chosen to lynch off a highly contributional playef day one, especially when we don't have solid information yet. Sure people may have their reasons for being suspicious of you, but idk.... I personally am finding Adavantos' post summaries very useful as a method of reveiwing a persons activity and kinda would have liked for it to continue a bit longer than day one. so if he dies, can someone else do it too? I guess that's where I would agree with you being more suspicious of the ones who haven't said much (sorry, I knoe I did mention when I signed up that I may not be as active in cycle one due to exams and even though their done my brain still isnt focussing on this game yet) I literally have no strong suspicions yet as I'm equally suspicious of everyone. I can say I often find myself more inclined ti trust the talkative people (not always though...) and I especially am less suspicios of thosewho offer up advice on game strategies. idk. I need to sleep. Sorry if that made no logical sense. but I wanted to reply before rollover since I wont be awake when that happens (yay for time zones (2am atm) so provided you dont all lynch me I can prob clarify whatever I just said tomorrow... that is all... I think... I dont even know anymore... might say more later (and correct the errors too... :/ )- 1686 replies

Burnt Spaghetti replied to Wyrmhero's topic in Sanderson Elimination
Well. I have no suspicions really. The only people who could seem suspicious to me are those who wanted to vote for Wyrm but their obviously just joking around (right?) so I kinda don't know if it's fair to lynch someone for having a sense of humour... So I don't know if I'll place a vote on anyone this cycle, unless something really suspicious turns up, which I doubt. If someone does get lynched we would gain information (hopefully) and if nobody gets lynched, then maybe next cycle we will have information anyway thanks to Kandras right?- 1686 replies

I Had A Very Extreme And Nasty Exam. X-rays And Magnetism To Obscure Molecules, Orbits, Radioactivity, Oh, Wish I Studied Hard Or Understood Long Derivations But Exam Stopped Time Unforgivably. Deficient, Yet Inventive Notations Gotta Increase Data Input. Doings To Help In Struggle: Ingesting Numerable Skittles to ease Any Drowsiness. So I had a physics exam today, hence the physics terms. Tho it actually wasn't that bad, but sometimes you've got to invent stuff for Acronymification. GOODLUCKPEOPLEWITHEXAMS

Okay, will do. I wont be able to do any changes until probably Friday or Saturday, but I'll do a few more variations. Thanks for the Critique guys. I'll probably end up doing 50 different versions of it at this rate so you guys might even be able to pick and choose which variant you want to use (if you want to use one that is). I haven't made banners in a while so this will be fun!

Yeah, I might even just scrap the second lot of text altogether as It just doesn't work on smaller sizes with that style font Yeah, I was thinking of doing another version that didn't have the clouds (so straight black) or instead dropping the aon. I'll play around with it. No problem. When I'm done with exams, I can properly finish them/ redo them better. This was only meant to be more of a proof of concept anyway so I expected there to be changes to be made.

Even the balcony of a 2 story house freaks me out- I cannot bring myself to go within a metre of the rail. I don't even like stairs that spiral down- must hug the wall and take deeeeep breaths. Yet... When I do rock climbing, I am terrified until I somehow get to the top (or just half way up the wall) and let go of the wall and dangle freely by the harness. For some weird reason just hanging there is enjoyable. I guess at that point there's nothing you can do about the height :/ Seaweed: When you're swimming in the ocean and you feel something wrap around your ankle it is the scariest moment ever. I get anxious if seaweed gets too close to me and will avoid it as much as possible. I am thoroughly paranoid of seaweed (refuse to eat it too, but that's cause I don't like the taste)

I had some spare time (not really) and decided to have a go at making a banner for this guild just for a bit of fun. I did various different arrangements and sizes, and I am open to other suggestions

I have a similar opinion as Haelbarde with Halo 5 although I have tried the areas he hasn't (as we live in the same house, I often watch him play so I first wanted to try the things I hadn't seen him try). Campaign: due to exam preparations I haven't completed it yet. I am playing it on Legendary but in comparison to the legendary difficulties of the other games, the legendary difficulty in Halo 5 doesn't seem as hard as usual in my opinion. This could just be do to myself getting better at the game, however there are aspects of the game that make the game a bit simpler. In campaign, you play in teams of 4 (you and 3 npcs) and as a result there is a revival mechanism that means when you would normally die, you instead go into armour lockdown or something and if a team member doesn't get to you in time, you die. This means you are getting second chances all the time so instead of going straight back to the last checkpoint like you would in the other games, you have a chance to get up and continue where you left off. I've found this has made legendary a bit easier than previous games (more like the difficulty of the heroic in Halo2) However, as Haelbarde said, the hunters are pretty scary in Halo 5. They're insanely powerful, and they have a machine gun option. Scary. The revival mechanic doesn't help much with them either. Storyline seems good so far. I read the books so I'm especially loving getting to play with the characters I read about (Kelly, Linda and Fred). I'm only two levels through the game though so I can o my critic what I've seen so far, but at this point I'm enjoying the gameplay. Multiplayer: I like how the multiplayer tells you exactly what stage of finding a game your at and does it even when your customising your spartan so that's cool. It takes ten games to be ranked so initially you could be against any level of player, but after the ten games your matched well with your own skill level. So far I've only played one game of swat but got paired against a bunch of expert players which freaked me out a bit so once the game finished with my team being slaughtered I changed over to Slayer. Slayer is very similar to how it worked in Halo 3. There are overshields/damage boosts/ active camo(which btw is amazing: you actually can't see them until they run- the camo is really good). There are usually one or maybe two per map, but they are not always the simplest to get to. The power weapon spawning a cool though with how it tells you how long until it re spawns. However this does result in all players swarming to one point cause the rocket launcher is about to spawn. I'm really enjoying the ground pound and thrusters, and especially how if you zoom while jumping, you fall really slowly. The multiplayer is my favourite across the games. Campaign I'm not far through. It reminds me a bit of Halo 2 with the two perspectives. I'm enjoying it so far, and atm I'm thinking the campaign is better than halo 4's. I might add more thoughts later when I have time to finish campaign.
