Do they have to do it in a highstorm? I have a feeling that the Everstorm offers no choice if the Parshendi are exposed, because the spren ride with the storm. A highstorm only has the Stormfather, as far as I know, so the Listeners choose which spren they wish to bond with and take it into the storm so they can change. So yes, they could ditch the Stormform once it has taken effect. The bigger question is whether or not they want to.

Well, if any of my favorite characters die, I will probably sit in a corner for three days and cry myself to sleep each time I wake up. Slight depression does that to me, and it was really hard on me when my favorite characters died in other books, even when I knew what would happen. Although, I accidentally read the part at the end of Hero of Ages... not a good idea at all.

Well, I am terribly sorry, but I have no idea what you are talking about, because I am not an electrician and do not have any idea at all how electricity works. Can you at least try to explain it in a way that I can understand?

Well, I have read WoR twice, but apparently that is not enough that I can catch on to this stuff. I guess I'll have to read it again... after two months. Trying to limit my reading of it, but that is hard, so I might as well do it again. I caught that Szeth was at Urithiru, but only on the second time through. I caught that he was on top of something high, I just didn't know if it was blatantly obvious that it was there or not. That, and this is not the topic I pay most attention to in reference to the series.

Yeah, I kind of think he may have a whole bunch of voodoo dolls on his shelf representing characters, and then he decides what painful fate they will come to. "Oh, no, you fell into a chasm (bwahaha) ... oh wait, you have stormlight, never mind. How about a chasmfiend? Nope, guess that didn't work either." Did the fluffy bunnies part come from Alcatraz or something? If not, it just sounds really familiar, don't ask me why.

I am kind of behind in all this. I also am pretty new, and I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I have been on the forums a little, mostly in the Stormlight archive, but it is all way over my head. And the thing is, people keep getting into the exact sciences of how stormlight really works, which is frustrating in and of itself, because I am not a science-y person. Unless you are using stormlight, in which case the rate of diffusion is entirely different, depending on the way of use or how much is used, etc, etc.

Brandon does like killing off his characters. I could have sworn that he was going to kill Dalinar in the second book because of the ending to the first. I agree with you in that I don't want the main characters to die. I kind of wonder what will happen to the Highprinces, since two of them are already dead. Will Alethkar fall, or will there be a replacement? I don't know. I don't look forward to book five if there is going to be an arch - I am dreading it, too.

Yes, but do they know it? Also, does this prove that Urithiru is on a mountain? We don't usually refer to something being at the foot of something else unless it is a tower or a mountain.

It seems that even those Parshendi that were in dullform, like Rlain the bridgeman, were not immune. The dullform on the council was reluctant to change form because he thought it was wrong, but once he changed, it didn't seem that he regretted it. I think Rlain was a special case, partly because he knew the bridgemen that his people were fighting against.

Well, we do know that Taravangian got the diagram in a moment of genius after he visited the Nightwatcher, though we are not entirely certain when exactly that happened. It may have been decades ago, or it may have been only a few years.

Well, can't the people on Urithiru see beyond a layer of stone? It would at least have to be somewhere that would potentially be visible, maybe it was made invisible in some way. Is it in a central location in Roshar, or did we already rule out that possibility? I can't remember if I read that in a book or not.

Never thought about the children before, probably because it wasn't something relevant at the time of reading, but excellent to think about now. natc, there is an interlude titled Taln, so either the madman believes he is Taln to the point of an identity crisis, or he really is who he says he is. He also knows about stormlight in such a way that he attacks Shallan when she tries to use it in or around his cell.

Well, I thought it was a good point. Are the screams in his head, supposedly from his victims, a form of nightmare? Like, is he so horrified at what he has done that it would be hard to sleep again? If the Knights Radiant could make squires, then the Heralds are likely to have that same ability. I think Kaladin has unwittingly made at least a majority of Bridge 4 into his squires, and that could be proven because Lopen started to regrow his arm.

So, they could walk upside down or something if they could get up there? You would almost have to invent something to keep the rider from falling off, but that is an awesome idea!

He likely will find out, and I don't think it will be easy for him. He loves his blade, and trusts it to help him in battle and other things. That information may crush him.

I thought Sadeas was yellow and green, because that is the color of his banners. Found that on Kaladin's first bridge run. Sadeas wears red Shardplate, but that does not necessarily mean that is one of his colors. He also has a red face, and his officers wear red, maybe that is to be able to find a captain or something on a hectic battlefield. I think the additional color for Kholin is white. None of the colors are on the Coppermind, so don't look there. Were you looking for just Alethi highprinces? All the names can be found on a map on page 20ish in the WoK. Other highprince names are found throughout the Szeth chapters, as well as the Taravangian interlude. Knowing names will probably help with the search. Although, I have not found many colors just by skimming, even when Shallan goes to meet Dalinar and Adolin when all the highprinces are there. Possibly look at what colors the highprinces are wearing throughout the books, that might help.
