I'm picturing people walking straight into the dome if they couldn't see it EDIT: "yes! Just 9 more miles until we reach Corvallis and-" BAM
-
That's always possible. Like one-way windows.

The bubbles she makes are always blue-ish, aren't they? I seem to recall them being so in one of your first descriptions of her powers, when you were still workshopping the three.
-
I honestly hadn't realised it was so high/big. A bubble that size is.. hard to comprehend People in the entire state should be able to see it, one would think. How far away can Everest be seen? Although a transparent blue-tinted bubble would be harder to make out against the sky than a mountain.

excellent, Iconoclast will visit when he is done in the fields

I love "sic semper tyrannis" btw! Latin is my favourite

She could jump there? Like absorb energy and then give herself a burst of kinetic energy and then when she lands, absorb the energy from the landing and reapply it upwards again? Sort of like Newton. EDIt: it is also not the closest explosion. Just AN explosion.
-
Heck it was never specified where she started. She could be from England. Or Australia. Or anywhere English is a common language.
-
That is true. While she would be immune to the heat, a huge sloppy mess of molten metal covering her hands and arms would be quite annoying. I guess it would just slough off eventually.

Nice calcs man! Obviosuly Rainmaker, like us and most Epics, has an imperfect knowledge of physics and assumed a high melting point would stave off Converter

actually his clones were able to use guns- they do a few times throughout. Its only when the clones number in the hundreds and start weakening, not to mention David's singing, that one clone tries to fire only to have the gun disintegrate. So Mitosis can make up to hundreds of perfect copies of himself, each with a gun with several bullets in it, seemingly endlessly (as long as clones keep dying). and we haven't seen any upper limits on how much power Conflux can put out, either.

That is true

Well war is good.... there are still whole districts of portland that aren't complete rubble yet.....
-
They could, but then it would guarantee no weapons dealer would ever do business with them (or return to Portland) again
-
I think Mitosis is more powerful- he creates entire bodies very quickly out of nothing. Far more mass and thus far more energy than a bullet. Newan? Ill add him as a former player (he isn't still around is he?) sad to see you go :'( mind if i write for Gunsmoke when he is confronted by someone for his attack and killed?

Player and Character List Here is (I hope) a comprehensive list of every player and all of their Epics and vanilla characters. If you notice an Epic, vanilla or player that I have missed, don't hesitate to inform me so I can correct my mistake This list, when complete, will include all current and past players, and all living and deceased Epics that are included in Canon (so have a post mentioning them). Here it goes: *Epics and characters not done just yet, will do them later

Hey Mailliw, I just thought of a cool way that Hypno can die (if you planning on killing him or like this and stuff) He runs into Iconoclast at some stage (later on in the RP), and orders him to stop. He is forced to obey, and Hypno gloats over capturing him. Then some ghouls show up, and run at him. Hypno calmly orders them to stop, but unable to comprehend his order and their minds clouded with rage, they are unaffected and keep charging. Hypno panics as he realises they aren't affected, and they rip him apart, freeing Iconoclast. Edit: posted the beginnings of a player list I know I won't have gotten everyone but I think I got all the active players, at least.

The next fight finished, and as the stadium returned to their bodies, Lady Deathskull felt herself regain control of her own. Her imprisonment had given her time to think. Clearly, that Epic could prevent her from using at least one of her powers. With an Epic like that on his side, there was about zero chance of exacting any sort of revenge on Soulcaster. Her only option was to either leave, or continue the fights. Now that she thought about it, the fight had had a sort of... thrill to it. And other fights would too. She tried to move, and finally her armour moved with her. Lifting herself up, she flew away from the arena, back towards the hotel room she had been given. "I need a rest, and a decent meal." She muttered to herself, "after the day I've just had." She flew in through her window, opening and closing it with her powers. With a thought, her helmet detached itself and hovered onto her bedside table. After a short call on the provided phone, room service was on its way. Laying down on the bed, Deathskull sighed. "Maybe this place isn't so bad after all...."

Yeah Brandon stated that Fortuity's weakness was public humiliation by an attractive woman. That is why attractive women weakened his powers, as they fulfilled part of the equation. This is why he didn't like them talking, and hung out with new women constantly, to dehumanise and objectify them as much as possible to reduce their ability to humiliate him. What's interesting is that he didn't go so far as to avoid attractive woman, or women in general. But we see with Mitosis that he was willing to wipe out everyone in Newcago on the minute chance they had heard one of his songs. And Sourcefield wore a full-body suit and mouth filter full-time (it was implied to be full-time at least) to avoid her weakness. And Steelheart slept in different rooms every night and had a propaganda corps dedicated to making everyone fear him, despite already being the most well-known and powerful Epic on earth. Although this would certainly have been hard and given away a huge clue as to his weakness.

Epics are naturally fearful. Despite their rhetoric they are legitimately scared like, all the time. Fear rules their actions. They are even more fearful than normal people, certainly willing to go to greater and more extreme ends simply to protect themselves from the mere possibility of harm than normal people. No matter how superior they claim to be (with Epics like Faultline challenging Steelheart), Epics are still deeply insecure about their safety. They will fear Steelheart no matter where he is, even if they have come specifically to kill him, and are consciously 100% sure (but subconsciously unsure) that they can beat him. Prof himself feared Steelheart, despite being invincible. Well actually Steelheart's energy blasts look like they consist of lots of energy, lots of heat certainly, and it is all coming out of nowhere. Same with Sourcefield, Conflux and Mitosis (creating lots of energy, lots of energy, and entire new selves, respectively). If anything, going by power, Conflux or Mitosis take the cake (mitosis because all the new matter of his clones probably have lots more energy (e=mc^2 and all) than Conflux can produce.

excellent! Once Comatose makes a Rainmaker post I will make an Iconoclast post and then maybe we can catch up to you. Hmmm... just thought of something of import to you, Mestiv. Does Argon's weakness need a person hatred? Because ghouls sort of hate everyone, but in an impersonal way of course. They might trigger his weakness. But on second thought, probably not, I don't think it really counts.
