The Altar scene in book 1

What if he's lying that he's a liar? And he's manipulating us with the truth? Oh my god, he's Shai! (Emperor's Soul) -
Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!

From your posts, I think that you're actually a pretty pleasant person to be with, Chouta. I mean, a more than 3 to one rep to post is incredibly impressive. I'm also pretty ostracized by my peers, being the weird nerd who reads a lot, but I don't really mind it that much, because I have relatable friends. And if it's your friends who are being mean, sorry to say it, but maybe you should reconsider them. There are plenty of really nice people out there. You shouldn't have to tailor yourself to others. I don't really care about how I'm seen, because I'm proud to be myself, and that's really all that matters to me. -

Have you all gone kayana? Galladon! Just plain comic relief. Even the most dystopian society needs that. -

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Sarcasm replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
You know you’re a Sanderfan when you go to this Academic Awards thing for school, and upon receiving medals, spend the ride home in fear of meeting an Allomancer, who could strangle you with your physical representations of effort (medals) -

Actually, you bring up an interesting point. I think that babies could become Epics, unless Calamity didn't choose them because they "weren't worthy" of such great power. However, I'm feeling some deja vu with Elantris, here, where (minor minor spoiler)

Hey, welcome to the 17th Shard! I'm guessing that you're favorite Sanderson series is the Reckoners? You should check out our theories and RP's over there! And in answer to your question, I support the theory that Calamity is a stick.

Yes, I suppose. But that doesn't dull the pain. -

Both. She's raising two young children, so it's understandable that she should put her family first. I hate being so selfish, but life's taken so many things that I value in the past few months that I'm not just going to let go. She is the most amazing person ever, and I know I will never meet someone like her again. -This emoticon is not even a millionth representative of my sadness. -

She's actually not moving far, but we'll probably never see her. And what hurts is that she's being so nice. My friend and I have used every trick in the book to make her stay-emails, persuasive letters, begging, bribing, ..etc. We even nominated her for Colorado Educator of the Year, where she could get $25000! But she's still leaving. And what I hate is that she's being really nice, which makes it hurt more. And I can see that it was a hard decision for her too. I made her cry because I was making a motivational persuasive argument, which made me feel really bad for making it harder for her. -

My favorite teacher is the most amazing person on this planet, and she is extremely dedicated to her students. She always gives up her weekends to help you if you're struggling. She often pushes us outside of our comfort zones because she actually wants to see us succeed, because she genuinely cares about us, and wants to see us succeed. But she's also always open to talk about social and emotional problems, and she actually cares, and connects with us an individuals. And I just found out that she's moving schools. *Note that I had her this year, and was going to have her next year also. She broke the news to us yesterday, where I cried 9 times in total. Yesterday was my day for grieving, and now I'm just angry. I'm losing the only person who really actually cares about me. -

Having a Bad Day? Stop here for a Good Rant!

Yeah, sometimes people get more than one upvote per post. No offense to anyone, this is simply an observation, but I've recently noticed that people who make witty or funny comments often get more upvotes than people who truly have good ideas or truly contribute to discussions. Don't take me wrong, I thing Kobold and the other jokers are awesome people, but sometimes the rep system isn't really to best measure of an individual. -

Favourite character of Elantris
Sarcasm replied to missionaryofgod's topic in Elantris and Emperor's Soul
What about Shai, from the Emporer's Soul? She is my favorite character of all time. She's INCREDIBLY clever, and her ability to anticipate and discern is amazing. Her perception on morals is really interesting, and I love how different she is, and her perceptions are. -

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...
Sarcasm replied to Shardbearer's topic in General Brandon Discussion
You know you're a Sanderfan when the most stressful moment of your day is wondering if others will agree with your theory, the most frustrating is no notifications or messages, the saddest is being reminded of a favorite character's death, and the happiest is getting upvoted. You know, I'm starting to wonder if there are virtual rioters who are manipulating my emotions. -
Venture, Hasting, Elarial, Tekiel, Lekal, Erikeller. Sorry for any spelling mistakes. Without looking it up, name 10 aons, and their definitions, or effects when drawn. Bonus if:

From what I observe, it seems like the average Sanderfan is male, around college age or older, with degrees usually in computer sciences or mechanical engineering. Note that these are just observations, so please don't take any offense at this.
