  1. If we were on Scadrial, I would definitely pick Mistborn. It would be harder to find metals of the correct alloys on Earth, and there wouldn't be any of the God Metals... having Atium would be awesome. I like Allomacy better as a power, but the disadvantage of being on Earth would make me more likely (and unwillingly) to choose Feruchemy
  2. I have a brief question about Epic weaknesses, I'm not sure if this was mentioned in Firefight or not, but any theories or speculations would be awesome! Thanks!
  3. Yes! Colorado here!
  4. When you notice that Harry Potter's a seeker, and Ron's a keeper, and immediately comb through the entire Harry Potter series, swearing that all Quidditch players are Allomancers or Feruchemists.
  5. I have them in different formats, and every one serves a different purpose. I think I have an eBook, an audio, a signed copy, a hardback, a really battered on that was my first, one that I lend out to people, and one that I use for normal reading that's covered in sticky notes and highlighting and graffiti (Mainly Allomantic symbols, glyphs, and Aons ). I'm kind of OCD when it comes to books I only have 4 sets of Words of Radiance. It's kind of disappointing.
  6. That awkward moment when you find your seventh copy of The Way of Kings under your bed...
  7. I was just playing around with my settings, and on a whim, I just decided to input my birthday on my profile. Later, I tried to withdraw it, but unfortunately, the "day" section wouldn't let me remove it. If someone could change it, that would be awesome. Thanks!
  8. "Obliterate." FEAR ME!
  9. For some strange reason, I have a feeling that Knighthawk will actually turn out to be David's mother. I have no evidence to support this, it's just a thought, so feel free to critique.
  10. I just finished rereading Firefight for the sixth time, and I realized that we never hear much about David's mother. We know that she died a year before Calamity's rise (I think), and so I was wondering if her death or her work was somehow linked to the creation of Calamity, and maybe David would find something about his link with his mother which would help him shut down Calamity or something. If Brandon was to be really cliche, he could have her come back in Calamity, and show how she faked her death and launched Calamity, and blah blah blah, but I'm pretty sure that would be too unoriginal for Brandon. Any thoughts?
  11. So if Harry Potter is a seeker, and Ron's a keeper...this just got a little more complicated.
  12. Library sticker? You went into a library? How did you escape detection by the evil librarians? You must have a powerful talent. Mine's procrastinating. On everything.
  13. Of course. I even had to make a special trip to the Pits of Hathsin for some Atium.
  14. When you actually swallow microscopic slivers of metal and attempt to burn them, and you're actually disappointed and angry when nothing happens.
  15. "You should try not to talk so much, friend. You'll sound far less stupid that way." -Breeze
  16. He leads without ruling. He's definitely my favorite character of all time because of his earnestness and devotion.
  17. Why do websites put 2014 as an option for your birthday? Yup, one year old and ready to join the 17th Shard.

Of course, I would have, if I had known about Brandon Sanderson's books back then. :)

  18. When your first thought after reading that is, "But the Weeping was yesterday..." (It was pouring)
  19. When your first thought when you wake up to a thunderstorm is,"Highstorm!"
  20. It'd be really fun to see some Alcatraz related ones also.
  21. When you swear you can hear Ruin's voice in your head every time you put on earrings...
  22. The highest rank should be the STICK
  23. I'm no expert on this, but as I was reading Words of Radiance, I noticed that it was common for people to have one light-eye and one dark-eye, as well as streaks of mixed hair colors. For a human on Earth, this would be very rare, and only plausible in the case of a mutation. Are people on Roshar different than people on Earth, and if so, will we see greater effects of it besides hair and eye color?
  24. When you sprain your wrist punching the wall after reading the death of a favorite character. And a concussion. From slamming your head into a wall.
