Last week, while I was at school, someone in a class mentioned a character from a board game that he liked, and said that the character was realyl cool. I, without thinking, immediately responded with "I like Raoden better." I knew the character that he was referring to, and meant what I said, but when he asked me why, I was pretty much speechless. This is a thread where you can list any random reason that pops into your head why Raoden is cool. To begin with, the world is his whiteboard. His wife never has to worry about him complaining about a stubbed toe. His kids don't need a nightlight, all they have to do is ask their dad to come read them a bedtime story. Feel free to reply with any and all reasons why he's cool/awesome.

Not really into superheroes, so forgive me if some of my answers seem a bit off. Jean Grey and other telepaths are probably twinborn with feruchemical duralumin and allomantic bronze, for connecting with others, telepathy, and sensing when others are using their powers. Domino is a chromium compounder. The Flash is a steel compounder. If Mario qualifies as a superhero, then he would be a twinborn, storing weight, (jumping high and coming down to squish giant mushrooms or turtles,) and burning pewter. Aquaman probably compounds cadmium. And on a final note, all elephants can store copper, memories.

I have read firefight, but you don't really need to. Just guess what you think his powers would be. I don't think it's as random as people think, and I think that his past might affect his powers. But mainly this is just a cool thread for people to post in. I didn't post it in firefight, because I wanted this to be a thread that you didn't have to have read firefight to look at or read.

I'm not sure if anyone else has been wondering this, but I have been curious since reading Steelheart. If David was made into an epic, what powers and or weakness would he have? I suspect that both your powers and weakness are tied to your past in some way, so the closest I've been able to guess is that he would be able to fly, (from using the spyrail,) enhanced physical abilites, (His marksmanship and in general strong physique,) and possibly enhanced brain ability? His weakness would either be being called a nerd or killing an epic. (from the beginning scene in Firefight.) This isn't supposed to be a serious topic, just something kinda fun for people to post what they think his powers would be. And please try to keep from spoiling anything for those that haven't read Firefight yet.

Just some basic ideas I put together, Ignorance is bliss, the less you know, the more magical power you have. But remember, knowledge is power... Elf who for whatever reason, switches over to the orc army, and fights against their own people. Wizard who switches to dark magic to further his research, discovers council of wizards is using dark magic for evil, and decides to take matters into his own hands... Superheroes who have a limited amount of energy they are born with, and when they use their power, part of it gets used up. When all your energy is gone, you die. Leads to lots of self sacraficial moments. These are just some simple ideas I came up with. I have a few more, but I'm saving those for myself. *wicked grin.*
