  1. Okay then: The Lady "Missing"
  2. Shaizan
  3. Sell. Raoden will commit suicide when Sarene eventually dies, as to why we don't see him with Galladon in SA.
  4. That Spook got the ending of Mistborn really pleased me, he is my all-time favorite character. Just can't help praise anything and everything he has done.
  5. The Book of the New Sun (It's a little peculiar fantasy published in the 80's, might not fit all but I loved it) Mistborn (The feel I got from it beats almost anything else, but SA might well beat it when it's done) The Lord of the Rings (Pretty much says it all) A Song of Ice and Fire (It's a great series but was such a long time ago since I finished it and haven't reread it, hence it's not up higher) Stormlight Archive (When it's done I'll probably put it up top, but so far 2 books in it's a beginning of something amazing)
  6. Brandon Sanderson writes in third-person because otherwise he would get distracted and write about his own awesome life. When Brandon Sanderson publishes a book his fans get back pains when they carry it home. When Brandon Sanderson publishes a book the world stops for a day.
  7. It should not be "he is a stick" but "it is a stick"
  8. Is Dragonsteel going to be your "Silmarillion" or are you going to make a kind of Silmarillion work other than that?
  9. Are we sure there are not more magic systems on Sel than the ones we already know (ChayShan, Dakhor, Forgery, Bloodsealing and AonDor)?
  10. You're right that the books are better than the series, a thousand times better according to me. Though I don't know if I will boycott season five. But depending on when he will get out WoW I may or may not watch season six (for then the TV-series would undoubtedly spoil large parts of the books, because David Benioff and D. B. Weiss pretty much knows how to end). I only watch the series to see some of my favourite characters come to screen, however disgracing of the books they've been.
  11. I knew I missed something... Well thanks
  12. I had this idea why only people who has been to Arelon very long time go through the Shaod someday is because the proximity of the Shardpool there. But then as all 5 of the magic systems on Sel is regional I don't have any idea to why they would be where they are. Maybe a solid form of Devotion or Dominion is situated there or the gasform... Any WoB conflicting this bad theory or does anyone have any other better theories? Feel free to reply
  13. Since Tyrian Sea in the Northern Roughs was located in the Final Empire (called Lake Tyrian then) just west of the Pits Of Hathsin I would imagine there's where they would be at the time of Alloy of Law.
  14. I want to have Szeth in book five because I want it to end with him, he's really swell and all and with Nightblood things will go more swell. So I have to say Eshonai first, but not because I want Szeth last, but because Dalinar doesn't fit right now... But then the Listeners doesn't seem to be as needing of a background right now so we'll probably end up with Szeth I think though I would like to read about him last.
  15. Are you not meaning the drunk-monkey?
  16. Haha, yeah I read that but my mind can't really take in that right now... Well thanks anyways!
  17. Yes, because, well, time bubbles only affect time (which I didn't think of in my first post in this topic).
  18. Yes time is being affected, but not the time in which the objects move, since time bubbles doesn't make you go faster, or slower. So heat should not be affected inside the bubbles if we exclude solar rays and such.
  19. Oh yea sorry for that, it should obviously be the Pulser. One thing that disproves my theory I think is that time bubbles compress time, not speed, so the speed of the things inside the bubble would be the same as they would be outside. I wrongly thought speed was a factor, but it's actually only time that is different. Then we come to the question about radiative heat, which conflicts in matters we are not yet aware of...
  20. I know it's a little late but regarding Sliders bubble: If you have several sliders make a bubble inside each other you would essentially make it move so slowly the 0 degree kelvin would be just some nano, or even lesser, degrees away, and interesting things could be done. This made me also think that your body would probably freeze if you put up several cadmium bubbles (if I understand it correctly).
  21. I have thought about the second Mistborn trilogy which will be placed in a more modern day era, late 20th century tech. In that era we had begun with space travels, if so much in a race. I know Scadrial doesn't have a moon but they'll probably go to space somewhere in that time. As we know that will require very high techonlogy and knowledge of physics. I suppose Scadrial would have become very Cosmere knowing. There would need to be a reason to go to space (satellites, space race or maybe knowledge of other planets). They would probably be able to calculate a lot of stuff about space and maybe even get the knowledge of how the Cosmere began (probably not why Adonalsium shattered, it's a magical event and I have no idea how those affects general physics). What I think I'm trying to say is that the second Mistborn trilogy would have the ability to reveal a lot about the Cosmere (but will probably not because I suppose Brandon wants to wait with that to the third trilogy or SA part 2 or Dragonsteel). Change of topic: Does anyone know if Harmony or the people of AoL are aware of what they could come to be doing with Scadrial, in climate terms? When they start notice it it would probably be sometime after even the third Mistborn trilogy, the population of Elendel is about 4,8 million, if there lives 600.000 in each octant as said by Marasi: AoL chapter 4 page 85 UK edition. This means the population of northern Scadrial I would assume would come up with a little more than 5 million. Then you will have to count with the people in the south pole. So pollution would be of less trouble but they will notice it. They will probably not begin with renewable resources (unless Harmony interferes). I don't know what this is but just a general thought.
  22. Another abbreviation for newcomers is WoB, which simply means Word of Brandon.
  23. But AonDor is more Devotion as Dakhor would be more Dominion?
  24. Isn't all the known to us magic systems on Sel of Devotion? Nevermind, Dakhor is possibly related to Dominion.
  25. I understand but Odiums reason for splintering Devotion and Dominion was because no one else would be able to take up the shards and challenge him. They can still be taken up but I think you need to somehow put all the splinters together and then take it up. So Vins or Sazed way of doing it would only work if the shard was never splintered just that the holder died or lost the shard (if such a thing can happen).
