  1. I have not, but that seems to be the consensus. I've also heard the ghosts are amazing in the third dimension!
  2. Aside from what you mentioned, I find third parties don't really take politics seriously. They don't seem involved unless there's a presidential election happening within a few months. The thing about change is that it has to be sustained, otherwise you're essentially the drunk guy at the bar who laments the current state of politics, but never votes and isn't even registered to do so.
  3. I wouldn't worry too much. The world will end, we'll sleep it off, and it'll be back to normal until it occurs again in four years with "the two worst candidates eva!"
  4. Only ten books? You haven't read all the "old" Malazan books yet!
  5. My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion.
  6. Leto, ultimately, can not get into the mind of a psychotic. He certainly understands some generalities, but nothing really specific. So when he tries things or says things he believes are psychotic, it comes off like a poorly socialized kid trying to sound tough: it rings false. And that's why he's not a writer! He does not determine what the joker says or does, he'll just try to bring it to life. Speaking opsychotics and sounding fake: what's the deal with the author of the article being upset with Leto for eating cookies?
  7. Well, if you think Leto is disturbing, think about this: people find a psychopath (that randomly maims, tortures and kills for the lols) charismatic. Who's the real Clown Prince of Crime monstrosity? Not I. Not...I... Still think the less Leto is in the movie, the better.
  8. Welp, I'm going to try it soon. How it is will determine my judgement of your character
  9. There's a bit I disagree with on your previous post, but that's all off topic I certainly think the above quoted is a good and fair answer to the question, "Is The Second Apocalypse something I would like to read?"
  10. Here's how I look at it: readers can make their own choices, no matter their age. If they want to read The Second Apocalypse or some other "adult" series? Let them. One of three things are likely to happen: 1) They won't understand what is going on, get bored and move on to something else. 2) They will understand some of the things but decide it's not for them and move on. 3) They'll read it and form their own opinion People develop their reading tastes at different rates and different paths. Though it's good to let all know what they are getting into, that's far different from saying "such and such group should not read".
  11. For me, it was Khellus. He is by far one of the most interesting characters I've read, but Also, book spoiler and a potentially graphic... Seriously, heed that last part, I'm sharing a specific instance that messed me up for a few hours, as far as I'm concerned, the Red Wedding doesn't have rust on this scene...no, don't click it to satisfy your morbid curiosity! Don't do it!
  12. How do you customize it? The one time I tried it, I was trying for a mushroom burger and failed/was not impressed. I think it might be me, since that's apparently President Obama's favorite burger joint
  13. You standardized the time/place CAH would take place, which means someday I can actually plan to join!
  14. Ah, but it is on his left!
  15. I would I want to smash a burger?
  16. Burger King is just disgusting. Forget cutting out soda, since I've stopped eating at Burger King, I have felt far healthier!
  17. Pet peeve number Euler: people who claim they are going to pay you back, like, tomorrow and then don't contact you forever, make stupid excuses (I just need to check my bank statement first, durr...) and so on and so forth. It's somewhat insulting.
  18. Pffft. Read it anyway. It only traumatises adult readers, what's the worse it can do to a kid? (kid defined here as being in the eighth grade or above). Ultimately, it depends on the person. I read Dante's Divine Comedy in sixth grade and I turned out fine!
  19. Woo-hoo! Time to use my faster, more secure chip card! *Several decades of waiting for the sale to go through later*
  20. I mean...I know you say you're 98 percent sure....But how sure are you? It just seems like too little information. Does she wear long sleeve shirts? Does it seem like she is trying to hide something? As Treebeard might say, "let's not be too hasty!" Particularly if this is a "bring up heavy subject this week, goodbye forever the next." So really, Twi's advice is definitely the way to go since it is helpful whether she is self harming or not. Leaving an impression that she self harms if she doesn't, however, could adversely affect her relationship with others http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/self-injury/symptoms-causes/dxc-20165427
  21. I finally caught a pikachu! It's weak, but I'm currently not trying to do much in the way of gym battles yet.
  22. It's World War I. And Wonder Woman looks great! I never thought I'd see the day when a good live action adaptation of Wonder Woman would be made!
  23. Monster Hunter Generations! Time to hunt dinosaurs and dragons with my trusty cat companions!
  24. Warren of Shadows
