I believe Kal's issues will come to a head in book 4 and maybe Teft's too. They both got someone killed because of it. I'm sure Teft can get help of some kind but Kal will take alot more time. Kal needs to understand the balance his father failed to teach him. Kaladin from Stormlight and Rand from Wheel of Time have much in common, including faults, I just hope it doesn't take all 10 books for Kal to fix himself.

I think that would be a bad idea for Shallan. She needs to put herself back together, not tear herself further apart for each new person. I don't have anything against, I like wheel of time after all, but not the best idea for the story.

Besides, something happened to her as a child, if I remember correctly it involved ardents. Perhaps she said the wrong thing to someone and was confined. Her childhood episode, whatever it was, I think more than anything explains Jasnah's secretiveness.

Taln was betrayed and left to be tortured alone for 4500 years so he was on Braize for the recreanse. I do find it odd that Brandon said RAFO when he thought the question was are any KR alive who broke their oaths but gave a simple yes when he understood correctly.

Besides we have one Returned running around Roshar and even if Parlin did, he doesn't seem the type to survive outside a sheltered existence. Vivenna had the good luck to run into Vasher, Parlin would have no one. So absent other proof, he's dead.

I don't think pattern would let Shallan have an affair, NO MATING and all. Kal can't talk to Shallan anyway because she's waaaaay more screwed up than he is, at least all his issues are confined to one personality.

I doubt shallan can be counted with glyphs on pattern because he probably has whiplash from leveling up and down.

Before Kaladin has a relationship, he has reckon with letting Elokhar die as a result of not confronting the fact that he can't save everyone. This will most likely be part of the fourth book

Back to Rlain, I doubt he'll be a common windrunner with basically Everyone around him becoming one even though he tried really hard.

If the Heralds have a certain period of time after the fused to return to damnation, could everstorm be the consequence for their failure to return? This could tie in to the insanity for the nine at least, they're pulled in two directions and their minds break to one degree or another.

As @Lidolassaid and it seems plausible, Yesteel spilled history to her and she got pissed. Could also be Yesteel showed her how to make her sword and the quarreled about that as Vasher killed Shashara for that reason if I remember correctly. We need the book Nightblood as there's probably not enough info through flashbacks and stuff to solve what she's doing. It would also be interesting to see the evolution from shrinking violet to Xena warrior princess which makes me think she might've gotten off Nalthis for health reasons as she has blood claim to two thrones. She's the rightful heir to one and aunt to another. Having spare heirs around might be hazardous.

Part of the Snapshot idea has to do with people wondering if we're in a simulation. I liked the story and think it could either be expanded or have a longer sequel.

I'm pretty sure it's implied Odium had help, my guess is Autonomy and they would've stayed allies until they killed everyone else and went at it Highlander style. Also, weren't Aona and Skai a couple too, not that it means anything because looked what happened to Ati.

@WaredudeBrandon has done whoops before, as in writing Bands of Mourning and Shadows of Self at the same time so there's always hope. Also if know of anyone with a Delorian, that could help too.

Only having listened to Firstborn once and never having read DE, I think it likely the Krell are humans or something made or controlled by humans. My guess is her father was chased away because he found all or part of the back story out. He could also have gone away searching for something or someone. None of this means the Krell can't be aliens, I just find it less likely.

I think they already tried an awakened spaceship in the Alien movies and 2001: a space odessey. It didn't go so well

I agree about Wayne, I like him most of the time but occasionally he pushes it a bit too far. Vivenna really needs Nightblood the book to make her arc complete

I would think she's in control of the avatars otherwise she risks making a rival independent of her power.
