  1. Granted. You are home sick, and no-one tells you until after he's gone. I wish Brandon Sanderson would visit Christchurch, New Zealand and I could attend.
  2. During a spanreed conversation between Dalinar and Jasnah it's mentioned that a drawing of a voidbringer from one of Jasnah's books looks like a chasmfiend. Maybe the Unmade or a type of voidspren can possess creatures with gemhearts and use them as batteries or something? In regards to the sphere, I support the idea that it could be some kind of beacon, maybe allowing Odium to influence Roshar from Braize?
  3. But I don't want to go back to school...

  4. But I don't want to go back to school....

  5. AFAIK, yes, I'm just over-clarifying.
  6. Didn't one of Taravangian's chapters imply that the Thrill was caused by one of the Unmade?
  7. This WoB says quite clearly that Odium is "settled on Roshar", but Odium's Coppermind page claims that he resides on Braize. Another question: How does time work in the Cognitive Realm? Elsecallers and Lightweavers must travel to/appear in Shadesmar to soulcast, and this seems to take no Physical realm time at all. However, when Jasnah escapes the assassins in WoR she doesn't reappear until the end of the book. And another question (sorry): How does a person's body appear in Shadesmar? We've seen the floating lights representing the soul, but does the body appear as a bead, and if so, what would its "personality" be? I'd imagine it wouldn't want to transform, but we've already seen that it can be convinced.
  8. Lightweave traffic lights to make them green. Use the surge of friction to make sliding doors open smoothly.
  9. Was Szeth in any way influenced by Rayse? The irrational hatred he feels for his victims seems like something Odium could do to ensure he kept killing and driving Roshar into chaos. Also, do we know if Sazed could worldhop to Braize, kill Rayse and save everyone a lot of trouble? Or would his opposing intents prevent him from acting?
  10. Granted. You now have an awakened sword stuck through your liver. (oddly appropriate for a 'cookie seller' like yourself ) I wish I was an Elsecaller.
  11. Granted. All of your deadlines have passed without you completing whatever you had to do. I wish that humans could hear my (normal) voice again.
  12. I've always wondered how specific you could be with the soul-slicing thing. If you were to slice a Blade through, say, a nose, would the person lose the ability to smell? Even better, if you cut through their tongue would they be unable to speak properly? If so, give me a Shardblade and a lot of people who talk too much would stop.
  13. Thank you, kind sir. But imagine, actually having to read the Twilight Saga. *shivers* The very thought gives me nightmares.
  14. Granted. You have someone else's Zinc metalminds, but no ability to use them. I wish for all reality TV stars to talk in ridiculously high-pitched voices.
  15. I will stop pretending I have Stormlight or Mistborn abilities when no-one's watching. I will stop mentally lashing people to the ceiling. I will read the Twilight Saga, and watch all the Twilight movies. I will buy cookies from the dark alley.
  16. I might refuse the cookie, it looks quite metallic. And pointy. I haven't seen any hobbits, plenty of trolls though.
  17. Granted. After they've been taught, it strangles them too. I wish I could find a bookshop that sells Elantris.
  18. My username is a reference to a book called Ready Player One by Earnest Cline. Wolves and ponies are still great though. I REALLY want to read Elantris, but since I live in Middle-Earth (New Zealand) I'm struggling to find any copies.
  19. I will never get distracted while doing homework.
  20. End of the school year. YAAAAAAAAYYYYYY!!!!

  21. Granted. It is cold. I wish for a bead of Lerasium to appear inside my stomach and remain there long enough to digest/burn.
  22. I love them all, but Kaladin in WoR probably makes that my favourite. I've got Steelheart reserved at the local library, and have proven that the waiting list cannot be jumped by staring at it until you get a headache .
  23. I started reading The Final Empire about 2 months ago and I have now devoured the whole Mistborn series, Warbreaker, and the 2 Stormlight books. My spare time is now spent refreshing Brandon's webpage in the desperate hope that a new book has been released. GIVE ME MORE!!!!!! Also, I really want to see a Syl/Pattern debate in Stone Unhallowed.
