  1. Someone from Scadrial cannot give up their bit of investure
  2. Im sure Gavilar won Navani's heart LONG before 10 years prior as they have 2 children both well over the age of 10
  3. That makes sense.
  4. I want to know the story of Fortuity's weakness.
  5. So there is an indescrepency in the time between Steelheart and Firefight. In Steelheart it had been either 8 or 10 years since Calamity (can't remember which). In Firefight it has been 13 years. That's fine but as David was 18 in the first and 19 in the 2nd that doesn't add up. He couldn't have aged a year in 3-5 years.
  6. I'm so sorry I was trying to give you an upvote on this post but my phone gave it a downvote! Someone please fix this!
  7. I wouldn't eat that cookie....
  8. I'm not saying its true (I actually believe otherwise) but I couldn't help thinking "what if?".
  9. When you're sure that Shadows of Self is also going to be on the list of best things of the year. And that Bands of Mourning is going to do the same thing as Firefight to 2016
  10. Obliteration wasn't killed. He teleported (which isn't a word according to spell check) after leading David to Regalia's lair.
  11. It was probably more Calamity's work than hers. Her having cancer sort of made me feel a little better about David killing her. This may sound terrible, but I know that it is extremely painful to live with, as my grandmother died of Pancreatic Cancer October of 2013 and, as a loved one you can see that they are suffering terribly. Though I also felt that she kinda deserved that suffering after killing millions of people. It may have also been the reason she gained a touch of her sanity back as she no longer needed to fear death as she knew it was already upon her.
  12. And the fact that he (sort of) literally worships her. If you take it in the metaphorical sense (the way the singer/songwriter meant adults to interpret it) it also could work for their relationship. I mean come on, they are married after all.
  13. I also thought something strange was going on with Dawnslight but I have a theory for it: We know that the evil in epics is linked to fear. What would someone who has been in a coma for the majority of their life have to fear? If he went into a coma as a child then his fear was probably irrational and childish, and those are by far the easiest fears to overcome. We also know that overcoming fear can counter the evil in epics (David overcame his fear and was able to reject epic powers), so maybe he has overcome his fear.
  14. I sort of used a different intrepretation than the artist obviously meant (literal rather than metaphorical).
  15. This is on my list of my favorite things in the world.
  16. A cookie and a visit to the Dark Alley. DO NOT ACCEPT!
  17. This is a really good theory. So with this, do you also think that, instead of having a nahel style bond with a spren, the Heralds had one with Honor himself?
  18. I completely agree. Rick O'Shea is up there too though for cleverness.
  19. Welcome to the sight! So glad you could join us!
  20. When you are insanely happy about your friend being in the process of joining the 17shard
  21. Do not read on unless you have read the entirety of Firefight and the Allow of Law This is wild speculation, it's just a what if. What would you think the implications of such a crossover would be (if it were true)?
  22. When the shard Honor was splintered, its holder may have survived for a time. The implications of this are vast, I think.
  23. I have realized that I am bad at recognizing puns. I did not get how an epic named Rick O'Shea was funny until later when I was reading something about Steelheart on TV Tropes. I was like "Oh! Its pronounced ricochet!" I only realized that Wax and Wayne was a pun when I was reading some interviews on Theoryland about character naming and someone mentioned that it was a pun. Please tell me I'm not alone here!
  24. I'm not in Britain and I got a copy from a bookstore yesterday. It was, possibly the 2nd best part of my entire break.
