    Erk. When I was in college, the music conservatory had this biiiig old pipe organ in the recital hall. It was missing a pipe. The story went that the previous year, one of the students had cursed up a storm on the stage and the conservatory ghost had gotten offended and tossed the pipe past the girl, missing her by a few inches. (I don't see any way the thing could have just fallen over. There were unbroken support beams across the space where it used to sit.) The directive that then passed from upperclassmen to freshman was, "Don't curse in the conservatory. If you do it accidentally, apologize to Opal immediately. Seriously. We're not kidding."

    Right now, Autonomy and Odium are probable frontrunners for Trell (assuming we know anything, which 'cause it's Sanderson, we probably don't). I'm leaning towards Autonomy myself, but I'm not ruling out the possibility that Paalm's spikes were an alloy of their two godmetals.

    I don't know, he doesn't really fit into the Old Westy vibe. I think it'd be mostly Roughs characters. (Except Marasi's in there. Eh. Whatevs. It's a card game. I'll probably sneak in one or two of my major fanfic characters too, because I can.)

    I've got game power ideas for Wax, Wayne, Ranette, Marasi, and Miles so far. (Miles was hard to do without going OP, but I think I hit a decent balance.)

    It's one of those card games that people like to mod the heck out of (you can buy blank cards for it). It'd be a fun little variant to drag out to play at cons, at least. Though it could get amusingly awkward when Wax and Wayne wind up on opposite sides of the law...

    I added the Bang! Bullet with the base game & several expansions to my Amazon wishlist for Giftmas. I...I want to make customized character cards with Mistborn Era 2 characters.

    That is...appreciated, though hardly necessary. I miss the days of being able to eat mac & cheese with impunity. Alas, foul genetics have cursed me with lactose intolerance! My gastronomical life is truly a thing to be pitied.

    This is the Bad Day thread. There is no overboard with complaining. Why? Because the Forum Mom says so, that's why!* Seriously, this is the only outlet that you have for venting your frustrations. If someone has a problem with that, then maybe they need to stop reading. The downvoting is minor in the grand scheme of things, but it's just coming across as petty. *Not to be confused with any real rules, living or dead. Void where prohibited. Just be nice, kids.

    IIRC, this isn't the first time that someone's targeted your mom posts. There's definitely something screwy going on there. If that's the case, then 5 points for the thought, and -2 million for execution.

    I remember my early days, when I was mostly posting on the Mistborn board and I struggled to make that 1:1 ratio and eventually lost the battle. Then I discovered the General board and the Creator's Corner board and started posting things like my cosplay stuff and a few itty-bitty writing tidbits and everything just sort of went BLOOP.

    That smacks of trolling behavior to me. It might be worth shooting off a PM to one of the mods; they can probably see if someone is unfairly targeting your posts.

    Yeah, the current theory that I (and a lot of other folks) are running on is that he just lowered the threshold so that it's easier to Snap. That's what I'm running with, and I'm just gonna keep my fingers crossed. EDIT: Well, it's important to the story that Eva Snaps late, so I'm going with what I've got. If it's wrong, so be it; it's not like I could hold perfectly true to canon forever.

    Hee, you'll get used to them. The only thing about it that makes me anxious is the fact that I had to kind of guess at the extent of the changes in my writing. My fanfic is almost certainly going to go out to beta readers next month, and there's a good chance that I got the whole new Snapping threshold completely rusting wrong. That's the sort of thing that gives me belly rumblings.

(And any mother who would kick her daughter out the week before Thanksgiving has to turn in her Mom Card. By law. It's a thing.)

    No to my knowledge, and I imagine that he'd be RAFOing such questions. I think it's a new godmetal entirely, either via Autonomy, Odium, or an alloy of both. That leaves the question of, can it be alloyed, too? Or do only the native Scadrian godmetals alloy in?

    OK, so, 16 normal metals. 2 Godmetals (atium & lerasium) 16 atium alloys 16 lerasium alloys That totals up to 50, each theoretically with a separate, distinct power. Plus harmonium = 51. Unless, of course, harmonium can be alloyed in as well for new effects, in which case we've got 66 67.
