We've been using Lingo Legend to get some groundwork built for months (and to a lesser extent, Drops), but we need to get ourselves into language lessons. There are government-sponsored ones that they offer for free, but I think we need to at least have both of our AIMA appointments scheduled before we qualify. (Mine just got set, but my spouse is still waiting on his.)

Yeah, the differences between European and Brazilian Portuguese are pretty vast. Heck, I'm even already able to distinguish some accent differences between Madeira (which we visited in 2024) and the mainland (where we are now). It's fascinating.
