Granted, you are OreSeur immediately before the Resolution. Hope you're OK being a mistwraith. I wish for the ability to worldhop. -
People you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley
Screwloose replied to Voidus's topic in The Alleyverse
Upon seeing this I had a flash of inspiration. Cookies in the shape of spikes! Or perhaps spikes shaped like cookies? May I access the resources of the alley in order to perform extremely painful human experimentation absolutely legal, sane and in no way unethical tests to determine the validity of such a creation? -

Granted, you are now a wolf who can choose to transform from a kind wolf to a not kind wolf. I wish for a zoo to hold all of the animals that have appeared in this thread. -

Seven Tropes of Brandon Sanderson

Looks good so far, maybe limit their powers to just the ones from their order so that they fit the theme a bit better. Related: here's my current Space Marine commander, Brother Captain Kaladin (the dots on his forehead are supposed to be the Ork glyph for slave)

I really like the idea of the Reckoners universe being Odium's shardworld. I think epic powers universally making you evil fits with Odium being hate incarnate. Almost certainly not canon but still fun to think about.

You Know You're a Sanderfan When...

When you find a bottle of Goldschlager in your house and wonder if one of your housemates is actually a gold misting. When you belive marbles could make a valid currency. -
"Real Life" Allomancy or How the second Trilogy might work
Screwloose replied to Pathfinder's topic in Mistborn
I could see coinshots/ lurchers being hit with health and safety regulations, such as only being able to use authorised anchors for jumping, rather than coins and metal parts of buildings. Also, on the subject of Hemalurgy "donations", could Hemalurgic spikes be used be used as Life support/ organ replacement? For example a spike through the heart doesn't kill the recipient, instead changing their physiology so could it possibly fix a heart defect in the process, being used instead of a pacemaker? -
Sure, Donuts and Waffles seem perfectly safe! I'm saving Emperor's sould for the trip back to uni and I havn't read any of the young adult novels (Or the Reckoners stuff for that matter) yet but might pick them up since it doesn't look like much else (cosmere related at least) is being released anytime soon. (Also thanks Ashiok, I belive you may be the first person who's actually spelt my name with both Ts)

When you leave crystals out on the windowsill for when storms come. When all your D&D characters are based on or named after Cosmere and WOT Characters. -
the most useless uses for useful powers
Screwloose replied to king of nowhere's topic in Cosmere Discussion
Spend years mastering pushes and pulls so you can unlock your front door with your arms full. Use metal dice and Allomancy to cheat in games- and play against a group of Seekers. Awaken a coin (or sphere) to "Roll away" and leave it on the ground in a busy area, then wait for someone to try picking it up. -
Hi all, i've been a fan of Brandon Sanderson ever since I was given a copy of Well of Ascension as a Christmas present a few years ago. Since then i've read all the full length cosemere novels and tried to tackle WOT. I tend not to post a lot unless something catches my interest, although by the looks of it quite a lot of things on this forum may do so anyway. Thanks for reading. *Subtley steps away from any offered cookies*
